Have you ever gambled at 'out of place' place?

Sounds interesting to gamble in the toilets, I’ve never experienced that because but I guess it is gonna be fun when I do so because I like to do fun things in the toilet even when I’m working and found it boring sometimes, I can just hit the toilet and the inspiration I get there is on a different level. Gambling requires you to be inspired to play some games as your inspiration can make it easier for your instincts to work in your favour. Gambling in public will hardly be the best option for me as a person who enjoys my private life and will only appear at social gatherings on few occasions.

I only gamble in the toilet when I'm about to place my bet and need to use the toilet at the same time. However, I have a friend that whenever, he's gambling and isn't comfortable with the noise around, he sneaks to the toilet and gamble there. I remembered when we were still in high-school, the toilet use to be our gambling place.

I have never done such a thing, but what a gambler might do is have a habit of playing like that, surely with fairly easy games like slots. 
Although I also often access slots, I only gamble when I really have free time, not when there are many other people around, or while doing other work. 
Gambling like that has several possibilities, either being addicted to gambling or indeed making gambling another form of entertainment.

In my case, fortunately, I only gamble at home because, as I do sports betting, I've set some rules for myself. One of those rules is that I shouldn't gamble away from home every day. I only bet on weekends when there are games from the major leagues. Of course, there are exceptions when there are Champions League games and even games from other major leagues, and on those days I bet. But I don't gamble away from home.

Honestly thats gonna be hard to do so. I dont find it casual to do as doing gambling while on treadmill might not be only not enjoyable but truly weird stuff to do. The gambling is sometimes enjoyed when you can able to relax and do some focus when aiming for profits. Doing that might not be able to supply both needs.

Guess I wanted to hear anyone having experience with this and how it affect their experience.

It doesn't mainly has to be done on a treadmill but in/at anywhere unusual for you to gamble comfortably which it doesn't have to be where your attention has to be divided simultaneously.

I have heard about people gambling while in the restroom and for that reason they stay longer in there more than expected even after disposing waste. I don't know if that can be said to be an unusual position for some people.

They should try doing activities using a treadmill or maybe they can gamble while cycling or while driving a car, that's better, I'm sure if they do it, if they don't go to the grave of course they go to the hospital, that's all, It doesn't matter that they use machines with drive belts that are used for sports equipment, but what is clear is that I don't want to take risks and I have never gambled in unusual and inappropriate places.

Sometimes many people, if they often lose when gambling, have strange thoughts, why don't they gamble while standing in a train carriage, I think it's more exciting and challenging and don't forget to make a coffin, if you want to do it.

I've never done anything like this before.
However, I once witnessed someone playing a slot games on public transportation with smartphone, and it was a woman.
I was quite surprised to see it because I thought gambling in a public place would make it difficult to focus and increase the risk of making mistakes. For example, starting with a $0.50 bet and ending up with a $5 bet.

I am not one of such gamblers but I have seen people on sports bet websites while in the bus, church, and other social events.

Gambling is widespread and people do it everywhere and anywhere. It is like a past time for them but gains and losses are involved.

But what really leads them to gamble in inappropriate places? I interpret this as someone engaging in other activities besides gambling. They either don't really have the free time to gamble, or they simply can't control themselves. The problem isn't the place, but the timing and behavior. For example, I'm not saying gambling at work is wrong, but it's wrong to prioritize gambling over my work.

It show that person is really addicted to be gambling out of place, which is not good at all, there is time for everything, I control myself wherever I am by not allowing gambling to take over me, I create time for myself and not to gamble at any point on time . Addicted gamblers lost control of themselves and when being to they don't ever accept.

I mean if the question is asking if i have gambled in a weird or random place, i mean i cant say for real but i then i guess it will just be the definition or rather the understanding of the word "Weird" cause what i consider a weird position may not be the same for you probably but i know very well when i use to be active gambling i didnt just do it in one particular place, i mean if you sent me code somewhere outside i would explore the possibility and place a bet so yea.

I have never done that; for me, focus is very important in gambling; I could not concentrate on my bets while doing something or in a place where I would lose my focus.
I don't know if there are gamblers doing something besides gambling. I have met gamblers who do things during breaks, like calling someone after a break or waiting for the next lap in horse racing, but they never do anything while betting.

If you know how dangerous running on a treadmill can be when you are not focused especially if it is on a fast pace you wouldn't even try to do any other thing while while you are on it. placing a bet can take a lot of attention and it is going to disrupt other things that you are trying to do simultaneously with it, the best thing to do is focus on one at a time. working out and placing a bet can't be combined.

treadmill is a bad place to gamble while running on it because is something that doesn't like when the persons mind is not there and sometimes someone could be concentrating and still fall so if I want to gamble I would make sure I have finish all my gambling before going into the treadmill, is a different case if the person is on the treadmill and gamble when the machine has not started yet because it wouldn't cause anything to them since there wouldn't be any means of getting hurt, but truly there is no need of gambling in an odd places when someone could actually gamble after they have left the unadvisable places.

I read a post somewhere about how a tax driver was gambling with his phone while driving. One of the passengers confronted him, telling him that he was risking their lives. And it turned into a serious argument. A colleague in my place of work gambles in the restroom during work hours.  

This might be associated with gambling addiction when someone cannot control their gambling activities. Gambling needs concentration, that's why I prefer gambling in a comfortable environment. However, I have been tempted to check sports games while walking on a busy road.
  

See how much more dangerous it can get if that gambler is trying to determine that outcome of a sports game he placed a bet on only to realize that he has lost that particular bet, someone who is invested in gambling enough to gamble while driving a client around will not be very happy with the idea of losing a bet and this makes the whole situation even more dangerous because the gambler isn't the only one in danger here but his passenger(s) will also get hurt if something goes wrong.

If you are specifically talking about people who gamble in context in which they are not supposed to gamble, then I cannot say I have done such things, as I am very aware than gambling while exercising, working, studying or eating can rapidly translate into gambling addiction.

However, I completely get what you mean with those cases, I have seen stories of people (who I would consider to be addicted to gambling) who gamble in any occasion and regardless of the location they are at.

During their clases, in Hospitals, after showering and while they are eating. I could not picture and healthy relationship with gambling when one is doing something like that.

At first I was trying to understand the term treadmill but I noticed there is a missing l in the word. Some people can be weird but maybe it's because we are not the same after all, human beings do the most ackward thing you never expect, why would any place bet when you are reducing weight? Like what are you even thinking, I thought there are things that are supposed to be done the right time at the right place, not when you are working out in the gym.

Just some people has suggested, only addiction and lack of self control can make a gambler to make this kind of move. Some people gamble while driving car, that alone can get you fine, in some countries your license can get seized for some period of time before you hit the road again and all this for what exactly? Because you want to do have fun, this can't be consider as fun again but the effect of exposure, too much exposure on gambling.

During an event one can know that someone has lost the control of the social norms when they bet. The most common method of gaining back the awareness on how to behave in society is through professional help. This situation needs to be stopped by interventions before going out of control. Understanding and the necessity to change behaviour make us establish a far more comfortable environment between parties. One of the actions that we can take in the present moment is to help our colleagues with this problem.

Gambling at out place' is a similar characters found in  every gamblers because i can vividly recall when i travel home during the Christmas period, i was opportune to a very good friend of my that i have not set my eyes on him and as the Christmas celebration was going on my friend was pressing his phone all the time, and it was obvious that i needed to check with he is  always busy at, i saw he was predicting games through his phone in his online betting account and mean while he was just come from a betting shop with plenty of betting tickets, he told me that i can never leave betting because betting has been a good profitable business, although he confess that he do lose most times.

Don't really know why you are asking this question or why you quoted this but the truth is I have not gamble while on a treadmill before and I don't wish to..., even though I gamble with my phone and laptop. Don't you think gambling on a treadmill can really distract someone or make them not to really focus on the game they want to bet or play? Because I can not really imagine myself running and at same time gambling I mean it's kinda impossible. I always settle down whenever I want to gamble to analyze my game.

What OP meant is gambling out of comfort. He is not referring to gambling on threadmill literally. That was a statement from someone gambling while exercising. Obviously, gambling should be done when youre concetration is on gambling alone. When your mind is divided into different things at the same time, you wont pay attention to your picks. Well, to some people, it doesnt matter where they are, it is easy for them to gamble. I have heard stories of gamblers, gambling while driving, swimming,g etc.

What could be considered "out of place", though? That's quite subjective, open for everybody's interpretation.

Although I don't do treadmill, that doesn't seem "out of place" enough for me. That's you exercising while having some fun gambling. I don't find an issue in there. Perhaps what's out of place is when you're gambling while in class or while attending church on a Sunday or while working during office hours or while on a date.

In my view it's not worth it, maybe it's subjective because our interpretations are different, but if you imagine continuously, grouping sports with gambling at the same time, I don't think there will be a sense of fun.
Important meetings and so on I don't think gambling should be present at that time because we will have two focuses that will certainly ignore one of them.

It is better to gamble at a time that has been provided by yourself, so we can focus more and not disturb other activities, this is the best solution as a gambler who understands the priority of activities, unless someone is already addicted, he will do gambling wherever he is.
