[SCAM WARNING] bets.io confiscated 148.915 USDT after full KYC verification – no

I want to report a serious issue with bets.io (Tessera Limited S.R.L.) so other players can be aware.

My account was permanently closed and my balance of 148.915 USDT was confiscated with the reason of “multi-accounting”.

What really happened:

I completed FULL verification requested by bets.io:

Submitted my ID (KTP)

Completed selfie verification

Completed a live video interview (~30 minutes)

After all of this, they still banned my account and took all my funds.

My activity on the site:

I only played 2–3 matches

I used my own funds

I did not create multiple accounts

I did not abuse any bonus

The main problem:

bets.io did not provide any evidence to support their accusation:

❌ no linked accounts

❌ no IP/device proof

❌ no transaction overlap

❌ no explanation of what exactly I did wrong

They simply say “violation of Terms (multi-accounting)” and confiscate both deposit and winnings.

Why this is unfair:

I passed full KYC verification

My identity was confirmed in a live interview

No proof of violation has been shown

Funds were taken without transparency

This is not fair gaming practice.

What I have done:

I sent a final appeal email to bets.io

I am preparing a complaint to the Anjouan Gaming Authority (their regulator)

I am submitting cases to CasinoGuru and AskGamblers

Warning to other players:

⚠️ Be careful when playing on bets.io.
Even after full verification, your account can be closed and funds confiscated without clear evidence.

If anyone has had a similar experience with bets.io, please share here.


I am still open to resolving this issue professionally if the operator provides evidence and returns my funds.

Never heard of the site actually. Checked trustpilot and they have like a medium score of 2.9 from 677 review, yet it's obvious that often 5 star reviews are kind bought reviews since many sites unfortunately do that.

Anyway, 148k confiscated is a huge number, and all that with only 3 bets. You should show a little bit more though, betting history, deposit history, chat/email history with the site.

Their ANN thread on bitcointalk is basically dead, so they won't care about this case. The guy that created their last ANN was last seen online 15 months ago, so there is that. Using google I also found some other complaints about the site in here.

Guess it will be hard for you to see anything from them. Classic small scam casino that can't pay out big amounts.

I don't think so. Who would post 3 digits after 1$? I am very convinced we are talking about 148k in here. Maybe you are right and OP is so broke he depends on the 0.915$ tho0ugh, who knows. 

But whatever it is, 148 or 148k, a sketchy site would keep whatever amount is left.

@OP, you aren't going to get any help from here as Bets.io representative (Bets.io_Nikita) has been inactive for the last 2 years. I can see that you are already willing to submit a complaint at Askgamblers. You should do it if you want to get some help in this situation. Bets.io KYC verification requirements are too much, 30 minutes video verification requirement doesn't make much sense.

Your best chance of getting in contact with their team is through these two mediators, but you need to clarify on your complaint that the issue isn't sportsbetting related, because as far as I know, they do not accept issues if they are related to sportsbetting.

Is anyone else in your household betting? Can it be that a family member registered and has an account on Bets.io?
Do you have a brother/father/sister/uncle/relative that you live with who might be betting there? Or did someone use your internet connection (like home WIFI) to bet on Bets.io while they were visiting you?
Do you share your internet connection with friends and/or neighbors?
Have you accessed your betting account from public WIFI's, internet clubs, and other locations where people share the same IPs?

Sometimes multi-accounting incidents happen where the accused party wasn't directly involved.
