About a year ago, I lost my mobile phone. Unfortunately, my original forum account was logged in on that phone. Due to various reasons, I was unable to return to the forum afterward, and I eventually lost access to my account.

I had been a member of this forum for a long time and regularly participated in discussions and shared my opinions. Now I would like to become active again, contribute as I did before, share my knowledge and experiences, and reconnect with the community.

Therefore, I respectfully draw the attention of the moderators and kindly request your assistance in recovering my account.

Note: I no longer have any information related to that account, so I may not be able to provide any proof of ownership.

If you have previously posted an address on the forum, and you still have access to that address, you can use it to sign a message (assuming it's a custodial service). See here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089777.0

If you cannot prove ownership in anyway, then sadly, there is no way to get the account back.

You don't have an email address linked to the account? - The email address used to register the account is a must-have. It's the one you are going to use to write to the accounts recovery team.
You don't even know the username?

Without all this, then I think you may not be able to recover your account. Perhaps just forget about it and create a new one.

I am able to provide the link to my previous account.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3517377

However, unfortunately, I no longer have access to the email address associated with that account or any other login-related information. Due to it being unused for a long period of time, I have lost the necessary details. Therefore, I am unable to provide any additional proof.

What happens if you read this?

You say you can't provide proof, then on what basis will the moderator help you? If that were the case, I would create a new account. And I claim that I 1miau now want to get my account back. So would the admin give me back the account?

Look, to get the account, you have to prove that you really own that account. If you sign a message with a bitcoin address posted earlier with your old account, the admin can accept it as proof.

The link to this post is not shared just for reading. It is provided so that you can read it carefully and follow the instructions to recover your lost account.

Your reasoning makes sense. I hadn’t thought about it that way before. It’s true — anyone could claim that an old account belongs to them.
So, what other ways are there to recover the account?

No other way.
The account has never posted any address before that would help in a situation like this. I think anyone who interacted with the account has forgotten about its existence. If it's really yours, you can only start a new account from scratch.

Sounds very bad as if you have no proof of ownership, it's hard to convince admins/ moderators that you are the real owner.

Follow forum guides on account recovery.
Forum account: security, privacy, and recovery.

From this account hack incident, I recommend to learn more about security and make sure you always back up information of your accounts, everywhere and not only in this forum.
Security and Privacy Encylopedia.

The Nuburian account is only a Member account, and you can use this new account Jason@ and rank it up to Member rank not too difficult. If Nuburian account is not too important with you, and you don't have anyway to recover it, let's forget it and continue with Jason@.

There are no other ways.
Just try to get access to that email address linked to the account, then write to the team, and if everything checks out, all should be good. I think email services such as Gmail have options for one to recover your email account in case one loses access to it.

You can recover your account without a staked bitcoin address, but only if you have the original email address. I didn't have a staked Bitcoin address at the time I recovered mine.

I'm glad nobody can just claim to own an account and gain access without any proof. It's a feature, not a bug Smiley
You can just post from your current account.

Unfortunately, buddy, there is no way to bring back your account. Unless you can prove ownership, which clearly you cannot, since there are no bitcoin addresses associated with your account, nor do you have access to the mail. So as everyone said, the answer will be NO.

You should just start fresh. It's not like you have lost a very high ranking account. I know, high ranking or not, it will still hurt, but you should just focus on this new account. Just be a regular, and start contributing and you'll reach the same rank as the old one in a couple of months. Even better you might surpass your previous account. Wink

OP, Russian-speaking, even I would say Ukrainian-speaking. His account actively corresponded with users in the Russian section, and for sure many people remember him, as the topics were quite diverse. Since the OP was not previously interested in the company's signature, the nickname itself is probably important to him, by which he can be remembered. I could assume that there is something in the personal PM that other users could prove, like something that you have previously communicated with someone. I don't know if moderators can view PMs... I understand that the forum is unlikely to go to such moments, although you can understand from the communication that the OP was not pursuing any financial benefits here, except for communication.

If you can't even remember your own account username, nor your login password, and you also did not stake a bitcoin address or you no longer have access to the bitcoin address you staked here, then sorry to announce to you that you've lost your account for good and there is nothing the forum mods can do to help you..

It is often said that those who heaven must help must first help their self first, and this same thing applies on this forum as well, if you can't remember anything about your previous account, then it simply means you never placed any value on the account well enough to try and keep it secure and be able to recover it just incase anything happens and you lost access.

But luckily for you, you already was able to create this account with which you posted this thread, you can as well connect back with the community with this one and forget the one the is already lost, but this should serve as a lesson to you and others who are really careless with their forum account.

If it is an account with enough activities, and have high ranks or donators/ VIP members, there will be more things for admins to look at like this case while OP account is not like that.
VIP member hacked?
It's BTC_Bear (JusticeForYou).

I don't know if moderators can view PMs...
It is possible, as PMs are personal messages, not private messages.

Therefore, I respectfully draw the attention of the moderators and kindly request your assistance in recovering my account.

Recovering your account is not what the moderator or admin can do without your approval as well, so you have to force help yourself before they can come in, did you stake your bitcoin address or sign a message, do you activate the 2FA security mode, is the email you even use for that account still active and in your reach, maybe these could help along the process.

Note: I no longer have any information related to that account, so I may not be able to provide any proof of ownership.

Once the information asked from the above questions we are not at your disposal, then it becomes more difficult, you can follow up with other suggestions from members.
