What do you think are the pros and cons of Telegram casinos? And would you actually prefer them over traditional online casinos that have their own websites?

There're no pros for Telegram casinos, personally I would avoid the Telegram based casinos and use the casinos that have their own websites. I know some good casinos can start from Telegram like @Whale started but Telegram can't be a suitable platform for casinos for long term. So the casinos have to finally have their own website in end.

I don't think it's convenient to bet on Telegram Casino. Due to the increasing demand for online casinos, the number of Telegram Casinos is also increasing. Telegram Casinos are often scammed by scammers. Telegram Casinos don't have such a strong security system. Since they are controlled by Telegram bots, there is a high chance of losing money if you deposit a large amount of money. So I prefer to play at a named casino than at Telegram Casino.

The Telegram casino is not much different when you access the mobile version of the casino because the appearance is almost the same, only in terms of login using Telegram without the need to register while the mobile version of the casino is like you have to register / log in to access the casino.

In terms of UI it is not much different, the responsiveness of the interface is also good as far as my own experience, as well as from the slot game, only in terms of appearance it is a bit small.

For me personally, I don't like casino games that are app-based or even mini apps on Telegram because of the limited features, small screen, and less than satisfactory appearance. I've used it a few times, it's not the same as when I use the web which I can access with a PC and its magnificent appearance, Perhaps I haven't tried the perfect version of these mini-apps yet, as I tried them during the casino mini-app hype, not afterward, and that's been going on for a while.

One time I have used a telegram casino before, it was not just a random one, but it was when a well-known casino built a telegram version which I decided to give a try. Just out of curiosity, we might try these casinos since they’ve been getting attention lately. But based on the replies so far, they don’t seem like something worth supporting, especially if there are red flags. Telegram alone doesn’t feel that secure, particularly when money is involved. Gambling on telegram casinos is not advisable imo, although I have never gambled on any telegram casino before, but my friends who didn't had back experience with them. And outside that, most of them are not licensed, some claim they operating under legal authority but this is not often true.

It is Always good to Gamble with the casinos you know they are operating under legal authority, and have good reputations. This is just my first time that am going to be hearing about Telegram casino. I don’t really know how it’s works so I don’t really have anything to say about that, but I don’t really trust telegram, and when gambling money is always involved so we just have to be careful. I don’t really know why some people choose Telegram casino over visiting real casino sites, but telegram is just full of scammers and we have to be so careful. I will definitely be using traditional online casino instead of telegram casino because I don’t even know much about it, and I don’t want to waste my time learning about it.

There are more cos instead of pros. I'd actually prever traditional casino that used their own website instead of telegram casino. So why? The telegram casino used telegram channel for gambling purpose. Yet it's fully relying upon the bots as the intermediaries between casino channel and the users.
It's not safe for gamblers consider there are so many fake bot or scam bot dedicated just to scam the users. The authenticity of telegram casino is also questionable and i believe all of them unverified and unlicensed. Majority of them are also offering bonus non sense bonus, which too good to be true. Those are reasons i against telegram casino.

To be honest I have never participated in any Telegram casino platform to gamble I have always gambled on website based gambling platforms. As gambling is not my main occupation I take gambling just as entertainment so I don't need to check so much I like to gamble where I can get maximum security and easy access. Telegram casinos and great and very captivating. The few times I played Telegram casino, I spent more time than I planned because the game was looking so real. There was a Telegram casino scroll bet which they were somehow doing nicely, and they were trying to build a little reputation for themselves in this forum before they decided to shut down due to some financial challenge. If that casino was still active, they could have at least changed the way some of us view Telegram casinos since the place called Relegate is a scam paradise; it's easy to build and scam in that place.

I don't think it's that popular yet. The number of telegram casinos rised constantly since implementing telegram crypto wallet but it still in early stages. The problem with telegram is the lack of security options compared to regular casinos which costs big budgets for developments. We all know how telegram is a fertile ground for scammers and thiefs, and this is why the majority of users avoid it. In addition the sophisticated implementation of major games within telegram like sportsbetting and table games.

There are few trusted telegram casinos as i can see their representations in bitcointalk, but still need to be used with extreme cautions to not fall victim of a scam plan. It's safer to use one of the trusted online casinos running in browsers or mobile apps.

Online casinos should be hosted on their own domain and their chosen hosting provider, not on third-party applications, because they are subject to the rules and regulations of that application, and they can be disabled at any time if there are false complaints initiated by their competitors.

I don't think I can. Telegram has a bad reputation because of so many dubious projects on that platform, and the online casino that you're playing may be included in these dubious projects. Online casinos should have their own domain so they can control everything, set their own rules, and avoid third-party regulation.

Tbh, I haven't used one before and I haven't had a reason to use one because I'm someone that likes separation of concerns and if I need to gamble, I just go over to Coinroyale and place my bet. I don't like the idea of having casino directly on telegram. Since gambling websites already get the job done, there is no need to try telegram because if something isn't broken, I usually don't try to fix it at all.

The only thing that made me not to take telegram as a gambling platform is simply a question I asked myself and that’s “what if I lose my account?” Telegram is kinda strict at deleting accounts if you violate their tos and I have seen people lose their account and for that reason I don’t think I’ll ever be able to trust it enough to want to put my money and trust in it.

It might not be a concrete reason but it’s enough for me not to use it. As for the casino experience itself, I have tried it and it’s not different from the normal webpage own, so I don’t think I’ll be losing too much on the fun if I stick to it.

I can't start listing the pros and cons of telegram casinos other than that they live there right inside the telegram app and without a backup website, this casinos can go offline or won't be accessible if for whatever reason telegram goes offline, though I understand that this will rarely happen as even I myself have never heard that telegram went offline even for a second.

And i can't also say that I prefer telegram casinos over their traditional counterpart, or that I prefer traditional casinos over telegram casinos, both of this are really good and serving their different communities, casinos that live inside the telegram app is easily accessible to those who are heavy telegram users while the traditional casinos are serving those who spend much more time on the web, so both have their unique advantage and purpose.
