What’s Your Take on Telegram Casinos?

Tbh, I haven't used one before and I haven't had a reason to use one because I'm someone that likes separation of concerns and if I need to gamble, I just go over to Coinroyale and place my bet. I don't like the idea of having casino directly on telegram. Since gambling websites already get the job done, there is no need to try telegram because if something isn't broken, I usually don't try to fix it at all.

But there is a very interesting appeal when comes to those casinos integrated on Telegram, and it is the fact they make use of the wallet on Telegram for people to be able to interact with their ecosystems, there are some so-callled Web3 casinos which give one the chance to use smart-contracts from telegram only through the use of one's Telegram wallet public keys.

Also, it is less likely those unregulated casinos will ask for KYC documents to their gamblers if they are not being pushed by regulators to do so anyways.

I can see why some people would prefer to engage with gambling on Telegram, but I am honestly with you, I also prefer to old and trustworthy web casinos.

I would keep any real money you may have as far away from telegram as possible. I don’t think people realize the percentage of scam projects connected to telegram. From what I’ve seen, it is near 100%. A telegram user and their crypto are quickly departed.

As @OgNasty has just said, there are tons of scam in telegram and anyone must pay attention to use these "websites" or platforms.
The only exception (at least to me) would be the idea to use a reputable and well famous gambling brand on telegram only because they are trusted and have some basic rules to avoid people lose money. I can't see any other reason to trust a site like this.
For sure I would never make a single deposit or trust to keep my funds in unknown platform (even small amounts).
If an offer sounds to good to be true...

Maybe because there are other groups of scammers on telegram apps.

telegram is supposed to be a messaging service so i don’t understand why people would want to use it for gambling. they probably use it for added anonymity but this anonymity might lead to regrets if they end up getting scammed and they can no longer find their money

For those of us who are used to gambling on a large monitor screen, we certainly won't be comfortable with the app's display on a phone. I once tried playing at one of the casinos here, which can also be accessed through Telegram, there was no problem, but it comes back to user comfort. I am also used to playing on a computer, using a phone screen does not seem suitable for me.

To be honest, I have never tried telegram casino. From the beginning, I have only played on website based ones that are a little known and have reviews from people. I always felt that Telegram's bot based system has an uncertain feel, meaning it is not clear who is in front. And since the thing is just entertainment for me I do not see any point in taking extra risks. At least on the website, payment, support everything is straight forward. So I personally feel comfortable trying to stay with the ones that are already established and have a feel of security. Others can try, but for me, stable levels are the best.

Someone on the forum once called telegram the scammer’s paradise lol, funny but very true. The rate of scam projects that flood that platform is alarming, and honestly I don’t believe anything at all that comes from there. The only reason I still have that app on my phone is because of the Telegram SuperNotifier Bot, just to receive notifications about my forum activities, aside that, I pretty much don’t have much use for that app.

I've not used a telegram casino before but even with that inexperience I'm still going to pick the regular online casino over it simply because 'telegram casino' already sounds like something I have to deal with having telegram play the role of a third party, I will rather keep my dealings with a casino between me and the casino, having someone else mediate over for me doesn't sit well with me, plus I will rather access the casino's site/app directly then go through a third party app.

Gambling with Telegram bots is very easy and quickly accessible, so people are interested in it, but along with some of its advantages, there are many disadvantages. Even if a casino license is available on a website, Telegram bots do not have it. Bots can scam at any time. Moreover, good customer support is not available through Telegram bots. If there is any complaint about a user in the website casino platform, the user will know about it, but if gambling through bots is suspended once, in most cases access is no longer available.

Sorry to say but telegram casinos is a big NO for me due to few reasons, one of them is as pointed by other members here which is related to the fact that scam happens too much on telegram so better to safe than sorry later. The other reason, I think that playing gambling games in telegram is unpleasant or too complicated because some features may not visible properly or maybe some features are not available in telegram casinos. +1 on this, Telegram casino just use floating window on telegram which is much smaller screen compared to the mobile browser casino. At least that’s my experience when playing on some telegram casino.

It’s harder to navigate for me since I preferred much easier UI with larger screen.

Tried it before using Whalebet.io and it’s very convenient to create and login account via telegram compared to the traditional login. The only thing that I don’t want about this is I can only access my account on my device which my telegram was login.

I have separate device for work and personal use while my telegram was only installed to my personal device so that it will not mixed with my work used apps.

I don't think it is very widely used because a lot if bad things happen on Telegram and you can get cheated easily there, no one would take responsibility. If they were as well known as the reputable casinos we have here then I would give it a go definitely but until they establish such reputation it is better to stay away from such ventures. If this was popular then most of our well known casinos would definitely have a Telegram version something I don't think is true right now.

For me telegram casinos are interesting because they’re super convenient and you can play directly in the app without creating separate accounts but that convenience comes with risks, like lower transparency and higher chances of scams. Traditional online casinos usually have proper licensing, clear terms, and better security, which makes them feel more trustworthy. Personally, I’d lean toward a regular website for bigger bets, but for quick, casual play, Telegram can be tempting but the convenience is there though theres a news in Philippines it will be banned there ( rumors) so might not be a good stance for gambling to launch there especially if their targeting the filipino users.

I've heard of telegram casinos and if I remember I've also seen them but honestly I've never gambled on telegram casinos, for some reason I've never done it. I don't know if there is a difference or not with gambling done on the website. Even if telegram casinos are currently quite popular, I haven't felt interested in trying them out maybe because I'm already comfortable with gambling on website casinos.

I don't see the reason or need to play in casinos enclosed in that social, telegram unfortunately is fertile ground for scammers.
But if I can get the same service by simply browsing from a browser on my phone, why use Telegram?
I don't see the convenience and I don't see the reason that it could help me in any way.
I just opened their bots out of curiosity, but didn't try them out of fear.

I have played in some of the notable Telegram casinos and I generally have good experience with them. They are easy and cool since everything is done on mobile. I'm not able to rate their success here since most of them don't last long in terms of their promotions and presence, even their ANN Threads are not kept active which is a big problem on their part. Maybe they are low budget casinos that does not have the financial muscle to keep up with the competition in the business.

Telegram is a place for scammers. Not to wonder why they never look attractive, because we already know something bad about them. Of course, why use this platform when we hear negative feedback?

If we just talk about communication, that is okay. But if we talk about money, that is something we should have to stay away from. So many gambling sites that are worth trusting. We'd rather choose the right place meant for gambling. It is a different experience when we gamble, without a doubt.
