I see some casinos on Telegram, but they are not that attractive to me to try gambling on these apps on Telegram. It seems to be worrying to use a casino through Telegram.

Telegram is a place for scammers. Not to wonder why they never look attractive, because we already know something bad about them. Of course, why use this platform when we hear negative feedback?

If we just talk about communication, that is okay. But if we talk about money, that is something we should have to stay away from. So many gambling sites that are worth trusting. We'd rather choose the right place meant for gambling. It is a different experience when we gamble, without a doubt.

It really depends on the gamblers themselves, if they want to take a risk on playing Telegram games and casinos, then so be it. But at least we have been giving warnings already that it's no good to play as there could be possibilities that a data leak could occur and it might compromise us.

I'm not against those casinos that have Telegram, as this is the new hype in the last couple of years. But old school gamblers might not like it as not all of us are into Telegram as we want to protect our privacy as well.

The cons outweigh the pros. Telegram is a messaging application. If you are a developer putting your platform on a messaging application, there is a probability of getting it disabled if there are false accusations hurled at you, or a group can even blackmail you by reporting your casino.
It will never be the case if a casino is a standalone, you control everything, and you are not subject to any platform rules

Using Telegram casinos is like interacting with bots. It grants you easy access and it is very risky as well. Most of them are not licensed so you can't tell if they are genuine or not. However from the numerous complaints from gamblers on the internet, it has been proven that a good percentage of telegram casinos are all scams; you see them today, tomorrow they are gone.

Apart from that, if you are a gambler who loves multiple game options you can choose from, the telegram casinos may not be your preferred choice of casinos because their options are very limited.

I don't trust Telegram at all, I don't even use it, since it has a very bad reputation for scams and dubious things that make me see it as unsafe. It's not that the application itself is unsafe, but rather the way some users use it to try to carry out almost any kind of scam. But if I had to play at a casino through Telegram, it would be a casino with a good reputation, with an external website, and visible reviews on forums; otherwise, I would avoid all contact with it.

I've heard of telegram casinos and if I remember I've also seen them but honestly I've never gambled on telegram casinos, for some reason I've never done it. I don't know if there is a difference or not with gambling done on the website. Even if telegram casinos are currently quite popular, I haven't felt interested in trying them out maybe because I'm already comfortable with gambling on website casinos.

That’s true, convenience always comes with a trade-off. You gain easy access, but you sacrifice some level of security. Most of these platforms probably don’t even have proper licenses, which is why they can operate without strict guidelines. Unlike licensed casinos where KYC is a basic requirement, these ones don’t really follow the same rules.

But at the end of the day, we’re all adults here and aware of the risks.
It really just comes down to personal preference and how much risk someone is willing to take for the sake of convenience.

So we really have to be careful there. For these Telegram casinos, I think it all comes down to transparency. If they can show solid proof of a valid license and make it clear that users have some way to go after them in case something goes wrong, then maybe there’s no issue. Telegram had been a place for lots of scammers, so I am not comfortable dealing on any Telegram casinos.  I prefer those casinos that have their own platform and website.  Have we ever thought that these people use the telegram to establish their casino to have little budget?  What will happen if someone it it really big, with such small fundings, I doubt they can pay the winnings.

I would keep any real money you may have as far away from telegram as possible. I don’t think people realize the percentage of scam projects connected to telegram. From what I’ve seen, it is near 100%. A telegram user and their crypto are quickly departed.

We do realize it mate but we are only talking about a casino here, while the one you are referring to, are pure/normal crypto projects. So I think they are totally different. After all, it is not the problem of Telegram but it was only a victim. Then I believe the Telegram team is still working on their security, and besides we still can research if the project or the casino is truly legit or not.

@OP obviously they are different. You can see them as a lighter version of the regular casino. Like you, I also check them before, though I think I haven't tried playing at them yet, or know how the deposit and withdraw works but I'm having a feeling that they are like a decentralized type or how we operate a decentralized exchange. Telegram casinos were once a thing maybe two years ago or so, but isn't anymore, telegram is a kind of social media that turns even the nicest development into a scam fest. Immediately the call for telegram casino began to reach wide audience, scammers began to build theirs, thereby scaring potential players. I've never tried to play at a telegram casino because lately I don't even have time to relax and calm down on Friday, but to play on Friday at an online casino through applications or websites. But I've heard about telegram casinos that this is also a type of activity that may well be addictive. I know this based on how the woman thought that since the casinos look so funny in the telegram, she won't get addicted to it. They were on maternity leave and were betting at a telegram casino. Honestly I don’t really feel much difference. Playing on web casinos is already fast enough as long as you have a decent internet connection, that’s what really matters anyway.

I don’t think Telegram casinos are competing on speed. It’s more about freedom. With regular web casinos that have a license, KYC is pretty much inevitable. Everyone has to comply sooner or later or the account might run into problems down the line.

Telegram casinos offer the opposite of that, more freedom and less restrictions. But of course that also means the risk is higher, so people just have to decide if that trade-off is worth it for them.

And as far as scams goes, we can say that every apps that facilitates something as 3rd party could be used by scammers including Telegram. So we might have the responsibility as gamblers on how to protect ourselves from the scams that are happening in Telegram. if we know as least some basic or advance setup on Telegram or we have been in the crypto market that we can smell from a far what scams are, then we could protect ourselves. We just need to have the education and maybe with that, we can still enjoy the games in Telegram without compromising our accounts or criminals stealing our winning money.
