Telegram casinos have been getting popular lately. I’m not really a fan of them, but I’m curious how they actually operate.

What do you think are the pros and cons of Telegram casinos? And would you actually prefer them over traditional online casinos that have their own websites?

I do not totally agree with this, there are scammers on Telegram but if someone is not on Telegram but failed to understand what scam is, the person will be scammed one day. The issue with Telegram casinos can be lack of privacy which I can agree with.

Another thing I do not agree with is that Telegram casinos can scam their users. This is not absolutely true because web casinos also are making money from almost all their users. Most people are gambling and losing.

There are some casinos that have both website and telegram, users can go for one that they prefer.

I also do not like telegram casinos.

Well, one casino that actually come out from telegram and they are doing well today is whale.io, this casino began their journey on Telegram as a telegram only based casino, this was the very first telegram casino I gambled on, I still remember vividly the day I discovered the casino, I decided to give them a try right away, I made a deposit of 2 Ton coin and went ahead playing some slot games, in the process and not quite long after I start playing, I won 6 ton, adding to the 2 ton I deposited which was already about 1.5+ Ton at that moment, I had 7.5+ ton, back then 1 ton was still around $4, I was very happy for the win, I immediately placed a withdrawal of the 6 ton I won and the request was processed almost immediately..

Then I continued playing with the 1.5+ ton remaining until I lost it all..
If anything and no matter how bad telegram casinos are, whale.io actually proved that good casinos can actually come out from telegram, the only issue is the telegram arent regulating the mini apps on their app to minimise scam.

I don't have any negative impression about the use of telegram casino for gambling, once they can deliver up to what I wanted and serve me right, gambling is more of what we experience and not from which platform we are playing from, this start from the casino game provider, the customer care, user interface, casino policies, kyc and other withdrawal condition that may come along with using a casino.

I really value Telegram as a messenger. 🙋 In 2017, when I was just starting to get interested in cryptocurrencies, I spent as much time in Telegram channels dedicated to cryptocurrencies as I did on this forum.

In my opinion, Telegram is the perfect place for communication and finding interesting information (I also really value YouTube). In my country, they're planning to block Telegram (just like YouTube was previously blocked). But people don't want to give up using it. It's very convenient for communication.🧖

At the same time, I'm wary of the TON wallet and numerous other services in the Telegram ecosystem (including Telegram casinos). I'm quite happy with the online casinos advertised on the Bitcointalk forum. I'm trying to ask myself: "Smartprofit, why do you need a Telegram casino?" I can't find an answer to this question. I don't see any significant advantages of Telegram casinos over the online casinos presented on this forum.  I don't see any advantages to playing casino games on Telegram.

Incidentally, I don't have Ton cryptocurrency... 🤷 If I did, maybe there would be some point in trying these casinos...

Telegram has always been a place for easy communication with cryptocurrency platforms. Though like it is, nothing good that doesn't have a bad side. Most criminals has exploited it too and gave it a bad reputation for scamming. Though telegram is a very good host for many social activities especially when it comes to cryptocurrency. I still remember they have an inbuilt wallet( don't advice anyone to used such) but it's really impressive how they combined all this in one app. There is this casino called Ton play, I don't know if anyone has come across it on telegram..it seem to be a nice tg casino though I haven't tried it.. they have a lot of activities as well going on there..

Any casino that operates solely on telegram is not really to be trusted or is not buoyant enough to make a real site for its operations and most of them are not properly licensed, so I don't waste my time on such. Many of the telegram casinos are the supersets of those tapping games creators which turned out to be real scams.

I am not saying that all of them are scams, but most are. Operating solely on telegram is questionable, real casinos have their own websites. If you cannot afford to build your website or have the license to operate as an independent entity, then you are not to be trusted.

Given how much scamming is happening via telegram, and how much malicious links are shared, that could enable hackers to control your phone, i wouldn't trust any money on anything related to telegram. And exposing my crypto wallets to them, using ton or what ever is big no!

Back in time i used an exchange bot to convert my cryptos that weren't available elsewhere, and i have sold my cryptos to random user, who for some weird reason trusted me enough to send usdt before i send the cryptos. But that's it. I guess that some unregulated casino can operate in telegram operate under the radar under the shield of pure obscurity, and i get that. I am just not a customer that would need that.

I've used one before, and I think they are great. They are actually very easy to use in my experience, and there was less lag, and I think it was really convenient to use, Im surprise how easy it is to access since it is just on Telegram. You just need a few clicks, and you're already in on the website application on Telegram. I would personally going to recommend it and i would probably prefer doing gambling there rather than accessing a website something like that, and the support is already there on telegram ready to reply I tried that and they are really responsive as well, I guess the only drawback here was TON is the currency that should be use in the platform, I dont know if it is still the case, but I've I remember it right, telegram remove all of the crypto there on there platform and use only TON network or TON token.

I think I quit the casino just because the gambling casino wasn't doing some kind of obvious money promo, which I dont really like, and I think there was some money that I couldn't withdraw because of some issue which I dont remember but aside from that the experience of playing on telegram casino was actually great, and I think I would prefer it.

They also has many features the way web based casino does, nothing changes that fact.

What makes the difference is that, on telegram casino, there is no wallet address to deposit coins to, it works similar the way decentralized wallet operate, you just have to connect your wallet and start playing, but most telegram casinos uses TON blockchain.
