I think so too, Although those that started gambling recently can claim that they have gotten back thier lost because some new gamblers might be unlucky in their attempt maybe after second attempt they might be lucky to win from the third one, and sometimes the amount could be 4x of the money they have lost so far in gambling. But as for those who have been in the system for long probably decade, hardly get back thier lost because if you consider the amount they lost from year one to ten years 1m is too small to be compared with the money they lost.

It's just like chasing your losses. The moment you have this kind of mindset in gambling, you are most likely going to lose alot. Losses in gambling are part of the game. But I think you're right that if it's about the entire recovery list of their losses, none has ever do that. Unless the gamblers are only up for fun, this is not going to be seen in someone's list. Like me, I only look at the week's record of myself and if I recovered a bit, I'm already happy. I have meet atleast one or two persons who have won really big amount of money from gambling which (of course they did not tell me and I did not ask them either) i personally believe should pay them back all that they have ever lost to gambling and even much more extra..

It is actually possible for one to recover all the money he or she had lost to gambling but just that the chances of this happening is always rare until it happens, and it it going to happen, the gambler really need to be very lucky.
This days it's hard to find people winning up and even more than a hundred thousand dollars from gambling but it's possible, and it's not just about winning that amount or more but also how much was spent on the bet to win that amount.
In some few years back, Ive come across people who won hundreds of thousands of dollars from gambling from a one or two dollar bet, but today, that rarely happens, can we say that casinos have become more stingy than they used to be.?

Because there's no one. Everyone is losing in gambling, the only difference is that some are losing a huge amount while others are only losing a limited amount. But that won't lose the fact that gambling is all about losses and few wins. So if you can gamble at your own extra money, at least you can minimize your losses and avoid further losses.

There is no recovering of gambling losses anyone who says that is just deceiving themselves. It is just a sign of early gambling addiction, and instead of them to tell themselves the truth, they just keep lying to themselves and keep losing money until they eventually get frustrated and goes from mild gambling addiction to severe form of gambling addiction.

That’s just a fact! Some people get mentally sucked into gambling all due to their mindset of chasing losses and that delusional state of self encouragement and fake hope keeps them motivated to play much longer than they are supposed to. And in reality it is not possible to recover what you might have lost when it comes to gambling, you can only try but the more you try the deeper you sink in it. It is always better to use funds you can part ways with and not lose any sleep over it.

And that's why gambling business is thriving specially in this generation, many people losses their money, while only few wins = profits for casinos. And then the cycle goes for those who lost their money, comeback for more in hope that they are going to win and recover what they've losses. I do hope that it's easy as it sounds, but that is far from reality. Actually anyone gambling should gamble with what they can afford to lose, gambling to recover loses is a trap, when you gamble to win huge or recover loses, you are just trying to put yourself in jeopardy, because you may trap yourself in situation that you keep on losing more due to being aggressive. And you know when the loses are more, it creat an impression of wanting to win by force, and that force will push or drives  you into taken unnecessary decitions. It seems like it's rare for me to see a gambler who, after losing a large amount of money while gambling, immediately recovers it after a few days of coming back to gamble again, because most of the time, they always lose at the casino, right? Even though there are still many losers.
