I was only able to figure out what this discussion was all about after reading the main post. The topic doesn't match the context, but that's by the way.It's been discussed severally on this section that there's actually no profound way to recover your losses in gambling. The cumulative loss is usually more than the win and hence the difficulty in getting back what you lose. The more you play the losses again get piling up and it is impossible to cover that up and break even, let along profit. The only way to actually recover the loss is to stop playing and prevent any further loss, not wagering more.

Well, i would not generalize this idea OP, because as much as gambling is killing the dreams of a lot of people,  it has also helped so many financially to settle bills from unexpected winnings and luck.

Most gamblers don't record all their profit or loss. But I still believe there are lucky gamblers who have recovered their losses and have even made more wins too but can't come up to talk about it.

Some how gambling looks like a losing game because people always show off their lost game and hide their win. But still, it's not because if it were, people would have quit gambling a long time ago.
