I have not seen anyone that has actually gotten back all his lost from gambling or heard rather and that is the key word that ties one down in this gambling (I will recover ) that's why is good to use spare cash in gambling
Those gamblers that normally focus on recovering their losses are absolutely not gambling for fun because it's obvious that gambling involves losses than winnings.

So it's better to approach it with clear mindset of having fun and entertainment with only what you can afford to lose because there is no guarantee of winnings in gambling it is only when the luck is on your side that you would get a win in gambling, apart from that nothing else can make you recover your losses.

Those gamblers who hope to recover from their losses is obviously gambling for the profit and not for fun because those who are doing it for fun would never think about recovering from their  lost, although sometimes this could be due to ignorant of not knowing how gambling works most people sees gambling as a place to make profit that is why they keep going even though they are losing because they believe that some day they would definitely win or even recover the whole money they have lost not knowing that they are just making unrealistic expectations because there's no way it will work.

It is possible to recover some losses, though not all, but you can get lucky and sometimes even win more than planned. However, you have to be very careful when trying to recover your losses because you can end up losing even more than expected. So I would recommend putting that idea aside to avoid greater risks; you should always have a limit on your bets.

In gambling, it is hard to recover the losses. The reason why we should refrain ourselves playing with this goal. When you gamble, your money use for capital is already at risk since losing is inevitable. Therefore, keep in mind that nothing is guaranteed here. Trying to recover losses can lead to addiction so don't chase it and move on. It's not going to be easy especially if your capital is not a spare money. But that's gambling, don't play if you can't bear losing. Acceptance is the key.

There are people who get back what they lost in gambling, especially those who bet on the lotto and hit the jackpot.  It is a rare thing, but it happens.  As for my gambling experience, I am still ahead due to a massive win way back when I hit the jackpot in one of the casinos that promote here in our forum.

I also agree to what you stated about using spare money in gambling.  Just like what many of the members here say, gamble what we can afford to lose and have self-discipline.  Rushing to win back the losses will only worsen the situation.  We must learn to let go and always start fresh in every gambling session.

Mostly, what we hear are news of winning jackpot and massive amount, but people never talk about recovery of their losses, because I think aside that its too personal, its not interesting as well to talk about. But I do believe that there are gamblers who are definitely recovering from their losses, but that's their own thing and telling others would only create doubt, so its a waste of time really.

But if gambling is just recovering your losses alone, that does not make sense at all. You should have gain more than that, if possible. But probably it'll be better that way than seeing your pocket empty after gambling.

Archie Karas, everyone knows him, was a Greek gambler who was famous for "The Run." He turned $50 into $40 million, which was the longest winning streak in history, but later he lost all the money again. The reason for sharing this here is the chasing behavior, he earned a large amount, but when he started chasing, he lost all that money again. If there were a reality of regaining the lost amount, then this gambling legend could have regained that $40 million, but it's not possible, and he himself condemned it. So for those who are betting in pursuit of chasing losses, you cannot regain what you lost, instead, you will incur more losses while neglecting the most important factors that play a crucial role in your betting, and you will lose much more than that amount.

I am glad you said that "you have not seen..." and not that there does not exist a gambler who has been fortunate before to recover his losses. We have those who had the beginners' luck, took their massive wins and never returned to gambling again. We also have those who had small accumulated losses because they took risk management seriously. They hit a massive win and the losses became history. People like that actually exist. You have not seen, I have seen.

This post is not to encourage anyone to gamble foolishly. Wins come by luck so you must manage your risks wisely. If gambling isn't working at all, you should take a break from further mental stress.

Loss isn’t tracked by most gamblers , unless it quite a huge loss that leaves a gh on the memory but not all .. Gamblers tend to forget all after getting a profit from a single win.  Winnings aren’t really tracked  either but it’s quite easy to recall  than loss. So in most cases gamblers don’t track it except they use casino stats manually or casino automatically calculates it for them.

By now I thought the OP should have been corrected about the title by a lot of users .. I wonder why it’s still “List”?.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone get all their money back after losing it gambling. Sure,  someone wins big once a while but consistently getting back everything that was lost to gambling? I have never seen it, the mindset of  “I will recover”  is exactly what keeps people suck in the cycle of gambling.

Truth be told,  the moment you start to gamble with the mindset of recovering losses,  just know that you have lost control.  And at that moment it stops being fun,  you are not playing out of pressure and emotion. People play under a lot of pressure when money is on the line and decisions made from frustration and anger don't always end well.  People start betting more and more money trying to win back what they lost and start ignoring their limits.

You should only gamble with money that is completely disposable.  Gamble with money you can afford to lose without it affecting your bills,  savings or l responsibilities. Note,  the moment you start to see gambling as a way to become wealthy,  that is when it becomes dangerous.

In my opinion,  once money is lost to gambling just accept that it is gone and move on.  It is important to look out for your  financial situation and your peace.

Even those who play gambling skillfully may not be able to recover, but I basically know that if the money lost in gambling is never recovered, then more money is lost and the gambler quickly reaches the goal of addiction. So the statement you made is basically a misconception that will pull you towards gambling addiction. Because the money lost in gambling is never recovered, in the current situation, those who are gambling for fun, those who gamble to earn money are basically gamblers addicted to gambling.

Gambling is for fun, only those people make money inn it who're lucky, the rest often end up losing money in gambling. The ones who lost money in casino based games won't be able to recover their losses for sure but the ones who've lost money in sports betting and want to recover the money or even be profitable can at least try. In sports betting both luck and someone research skills play their role, while in casino games only luck plays its role.

Since there is no guarantee of winning in gambling, gamblers can never be expected to profit from it. Those who gamble for a long time have a high chance of losing. Moreover, it is true that there is not much evidence that those who have lost a lot in gambling have been able to recover their losses. But it is true that those who have gambled have lost wealth as well as some of them have also won much more from gambling. Those who gamble to recover their losses in gambling will continue to lose more.

Both types of loss are always hard to get. It starts from losing when you first start your gambling journey down to when you are already used to the system, and if you try to chase your loss, no matter how fresh it is or how small it is, it might appear a bit easier to accomplish, but it's never easy, and if you keep on chasing it and don't want to let go, the amount which has been lost will continue increasing, making it way more difficult than it has ever been.
That’s right. Fresh losses feels more easier to recover, not until you embark on the journey and see the aftermath of your actions. That’s when the gambler would realize that even if the possibility is actually there, the chances are very slim and that’s why it’s always regarded as a very bad idea and those who are wise already know this. That’s why only inexperienced and mostly newbies see an opportunity there.

The thng about chasing losses is that the gambler is going to lose in the long run even though there are times that he or she would be successful. Recovering losses in some cases would be possible especially when the gambler is Lucky, there is no guarantee of winning and losing. chasing losses is something that's messed up because the chances of recovery are very low and you can't tell of other things might happen. nothing can make there be a situation where chasing losses is safe.

I heard that people are making profit and it is more than what they have been losing to gamble  and I have been interested to know the games they playing that have made them this large profit. Are they skill base games? And if it is, what the games?

Several studies has stage it that gambling losses are more higher than the profits gambler are claiming to make, and some research went on to say that the profit made for today was just a small part of many losses in the past. Which technically can not be counted to be profit.

The house has all the edge leaving me with luck against the house edge. Right from the time I embraced this knowledge, I do not disturb myself for record keeping of my losses and profits, all I do is to gamble with what i can risk to the house, and wait for my fate and accept it because it a win or loss.

Definitely the house has more edge than us the gamblers. The game was designed for us to lose, but it then depends on how you choose to control your risk.. if you have a good risk management plan, then over time you just might be able to recover a few of your losses and rebalance the win to loss ratio. Not every gambler are able to come out of the losses. If we are to really calculate the amount of funds lost in gambling, majority are still in loss till date.. big we don't let such hold us back. We just enjoy ourselves and move on. Don't let the losses drag you down as it would only incure you even more losses than it already did...

I have not seen anyone that has actually gotten back all his lost from gambling or heard rather and that is the key word that ties one down in this gambling (I will recover ) that's why is good to use spare cash in gambling

If your friends mostly play slots like I do, then it’s not strange that you rarely see someone recover their losses from gambling. Gambling platforms are designed to be profitable for the house, which means we can’t expect everyone to make a profit. Some of them or even most of them will experience losses. That’s why, just like you said, using spare cash or money we can afford to lose is essential. We should never force ourselves to recover what we’ve lost, just gamble as usual if we win, we enjoy it if we lose, we accept it.

Maybe you are not only that updated? Because for me, I think I have heard of that a couple of times now, and I think the one that made them to recover is only by winning the huge jackpot but yeah, what you said there could be the main reason on why people keep on coming back in the gambling arena because I also believe that many of us mainly plays for the profit but we know the casinos, they won't let that happen to us quickly because that can also mean a lose for them.

There are still people that keeps on coming back because they see gambling as one of their entertainment sources but it would be best if all of us only see or treat gambling this way.

Yes, they are only after to get rich overnight in gambling because it's obvious that they are not after the fun and entertainment. Honestly, they are making a very big mistake because it has been said several times that we shouldn't take profit very serious while because it is the easiest for you to fall trap in the game, but it's unfortunate that some gamblers are still looking for a way to become rich quick through gambling without realizing that gambling depends on luck.

Even if you are hoping that you would get it one day, it should be with a little amount that wouldn't affect you negatively because I know how deeper some gamblers are when chasing losses.

First, always cross check your write up before posting it, i think what you mean at the capture is recovering your lost not list. Back to business, in gambling it's always a big red flag for any gambler to start chasing or even thinking of recovering their lost fund's. Things don't work like that, any attempt of you trying to get back all or even some of your lost fund's will attract more lost so it's better you let go and move on.

Mostly, one of the major errors that usually leads to all this is when you start expecting to much from gamble, possibly you start taking it as your real time job and that's what brings the problem, therefore haven't known all this and want to be saved even in our gaming streak, it's advisable we do the needful least we face the hash consequences of our actions.
