Whenever fiat gets a bit less valued, that means crypto will go up. And right now we have a situation where temporarily the market is in chaos because people don't know what's going to happen with the Iran situation. However, that doesn't mean that we are going to do badly, stock market will recover eventually.

Moreover, we are in the bear market for the crypto world and even though there could be couple points recovery here and there time to time, that's not going to be common and won't happen that often. So we have to look at this as something that will not be long term and just focus on doing a better job. I get that you may hope for a better tomorrow, but just focus on long term when it will go up, and ignore the short term fall that will probably happen.

Wait maybe until next week, and we'll see how the market will really react when most of suppliers of oil in the world have been stuck with their stocks. The alts don't seem to move that much and if an altcoin season is likely for this year, I don't know then that breaks the cycle that we're about to have for this year because it should be bear market. Or it can happen for a few week or two and then the market will revert to the usual bear market as expected. These short term movements doesn't mean a thing as of now so we have to wait.

I just checked out S&P500 and NASDAQ chart, they both aren't falling at all the same way crypto isn't falling and instead making a small pump.

But it would be great seeing some altcoin season at least. Most of altcoins are already becoming a dust .

I don't have confidence that we will see altcoin season this year, not because of the war or anything, I just feel we are not going that direction now with the level of uncertainty in the market. If there will be any serious pump, Bitcoin will definitely lead it because it has earned more trust that the other cryptocurrency. Just like you said, a lot of these altcoins are turning into dust, this means that only the established coins are worth investing in and holding.

Most likely, this year will be the same as last year, i.e., when the majority of altcoins are falling, but at the same time, there will be periodic single cases of sharp pumps of some alts.
As for investing in Bitcoin, at this stage, it may not be the best decision, as there is still a possibility that the bearish trend will continue, which means that the BTC price could potentially lose at least another 20%.

I guess small alt season already passed but I may be wrong. I just see that the market now is down including Bitcoin price is drop for almost half from the new ATH.

Usually, after the newest ATH, the market will slowly down if not down fast. Altcoins will follows and adjust the price and the position in the market.

If we will see a small alt season, that is good as we can makes more profit. But if this will down, we should be prepare to buy back any potential altcoin, if you want but buying Bitcoin is always the main recommendation.

I don't think this is a fake out, Micheal Strategy announce to have bought 20k+ Bitcoin in billions today bringing their accumulation higher, this is the reason why we had a pump today that's why I believe this moves is not fake out. A fakeout candle will not even last more than a day before it dump in a candle but you can see Bitcoin is trading around $75k looking for a perfect opportunity to break this resistance of the previous all time high, look very well there is a pattern there.

You need understand that Bitcoin dump in this kind of time struggle to return to their previous all time high, as the market dump, it for a pattern and this is the same pattern it follows when it want to make some gains. As long Bitcoin is not yet out of there accumulation phase, the Altcoins will continue to suffer the FUD people create around the market. We didn't even experienced much of Altcoins bull run but the like this, Altcoins are down more than -99% from there all time high.

Maybe the narrative has change already specially from last year wherein when Bitcoin pumps, we didn't see altcoins following it's trajectory. That's why others pointed out that they have decoupled already.

I'm talking about solid altcoins here, not just meme or shit coins. So we might have to wait for the next bull run and see if this narrative continues or if the altcoin market will have it's own bull run, not depending on the price movement of Bitcoin.

In addition, as you said. Altcoin season typically only occurs when Bitcoin rises, but given the current geopolitical instability. The probability of bitcoin surging and triggering a broad market rally is quite low. Things have changed, and we should accept reality and forget about the altcoin season.
