I have some BTC and want to use it for online payments where only credit cards are accepted. What is the best and safe way to turn BTC into a virtual card? I heard some people use crypto card services or sites like Yellowdotpay & revolut. Please share simple steps, fees, and risks to know before I try.

depends on where you live, what you are going to use the card for, and if you are okay with KYC or not.

I know one that I used before, but I don't know if they are still working. You can check the PayWithMoon.
I also heard that you can buy a prepaid Mastercard/Visa card that works as a VCC in Bitrefill but it seems that this site is currently under maintenance; you can try checking it later.

If you don't care about KYC, then try Binance Card and OKX Card; the KYC should be verified within the day.

If you are going to use PayWithMoon, please try it first with a small amount. I don't recommend instantly using it in a big amount, as I don't have much data using it unless some reputable members here have tried this recently.

the easiest way is to use a crypto friendly exchance or service that issues a virtual card you deposit BTC, convert it to fiat and the VCC can be used online like a normal card  Smiley

First of all, it’s necessary to understand whether you need a burn card or a rechargeable one, since their commissions are not the same. Burner cards like PayWithMoon and uncard have a commission on each load (around 6% + $3). They should be used for one-time purchases of goods or services.

Reloadable crypto debit cards are a little bit different: no or small load fees; however, conversion spread and KYC are a must.

Conversion from BTC to fiat is not an issue. The problem is that most prepaid VCCs cannot be used for pre-authorization or recurring transactions since the amount is already on your account.

If loading by Lightning Network means anything to you, check out Bitrefill, although its card is valid only in the European Union.
