Poor orientation has made many people do things they have never done before and I think the more people innovate this ideas into worthless things, the more people want to fall for this scams. I remembered seeing market sellers in real life tapping their phones back in late 2024 and early 2025, what were they doing? Mining and making more coins, I don't think there is one functional app about mining that is working till date, all dead and forgotten.

You have seen that everywhere is silent and there has not been any popular mining going around. Very soon, they will launch one out and out of excitement people will join and do what they want. You can't really tell people what they want to do, they will do it the way they like especially when that popular mining app paid some people money, PI coin. PI is trading ons some exchanges with billions of market cap, I have never seen any scam coin like that in my life.

Since I have known about bitcoin and other coins few years ago, what I know about cloud mining is that they are the honeypots of scammers. They will tell you that it is free, you will join and see premium services thier just to attract you to pay them money. Almost all if them more than 99.99% among them are scam. People are only wasting their money or time on the them.

Yes and for me what I think is that the term cloud is symbol of scammers that focus on mining to cheat their victims, this are known fact because ever since I know about cloud mining, nothing positive have happened from that sectors other than tins of complaints of being a scam.

Although we can not deny the fact that we have some of them that may be development-oriented and with a long-term operations blueprint to run with, those are the relatively successful and known among them.

Most of those could mining platform promise passive and easy income by just mining on their platform using their phones. Which usually ends as scam and this is common type of frauds we have seen for many years in this industry.

Although we can't also deny that there are legitimate cloudmining platform, but I really think its not worth it to invest since profitability is declining. So its better for us to be vigilant and cautious on the risk brought up by cloud mining scams and better threat it as high risk investment which better to avoid.

I don't know the current situation or whether platforms like that are still popular. As far as I remember, maybe in late 2019 to early 2020, quite a few cloud mining platforms emerged. At that time, on social media and in crypto groups, many were sharing referrals from mining accounts. I don't know whether they really paid or were a scam. But with the convenience offered, it most likely will not produce anything.

Mining is profitable but we know that there are a lot of scammers here so users are deprived of their rewards after mining for a long time. If a good project like Bitcoin mining can be related to patience for a long time, then there is a risk of profit at some point. But we can already see that in most cases there are some projects in which after mining users for a long time, they make various promises and later deprive them and cheat them. I have been mining for a long time but could not make much profit from it like Pi mining, people have been doing it for a long time but very few people have been rewarded here. However, those who have a lot of patience are the ones who mine for a long time, but they do not know whether they will be able to profit in the end and whether they will get the reward, so I think it is a waste of time here.
