Whale.io holding $441,000 withdrawal for 6+ days

I won $441,000 playing Evolution Gaming live games on Whale.io. My withdrawal has been pending for over 6 days.

Support keeps saying it is “under review” and “maybe Monday” but nobody can give me an actual timeline.

My account is fully verified and I have completed multiple successful withdrawals in the past. I have not broken any terms or rules.

I have already contacted Evolution Gaming directly since the winnings came from their games and I am preparing a complaint with the Curaçao Gaming Control Board.

Has anyone here dealt with something similar with Whale.io?

It is rare to see a case against Whale.io. The brand is having a solid reputation here. While it is normal to have some delays when cashing out a massive amount (like in your case, close to half a million) and 6 days are well within the time frame we have seen in many cases here, they should have kept you in the loop with proper information.
I also suggest you to upload the screenshots of deposit+gameplay and any conversation that you are having with team whale.io.

While I was very unsatisfied with their customer support and the VIP transfer support (that's why I also left the site for good unfortunately because experiences like this are break or make for me) I never had any issues with withdrawals.
Obviously also I never won a whopping 441k, so there is that.  Can't blame them to double and tripple check before sending out such a big amount. Whale is still a small casino and half a million is a lot for them. Yet if everything was won fair and square there is no way around paying the player!
Hopefully they won't come up with some bs story so they won't have to pay, like other small sites like to do.

I haven't personally experienced something like this, but there have been cases posted here in the forum(not with whale.io) where the casino or the game provider conducts an investigation when someone wins a huge amount of money. They are basically trying to see if there was any foul play. It's annoying, and sadly, it is not uncommon for a casino to do this.

I am surprised to see a scam accusation against Whale because I cannot recall coming across one before. It is very difficult to for me to comment further because you have not provided any evidence.

If you would like to see members of the forum provide support and guidance to you then you will have to present evidence. You should provide screenshots from the Whale account page showing your $441,000 win as well as the balance. Also, you should take screenshots of your correspondence with them too.

Apart from Whale, you should also post your correspondence with Evolution Gaming.

Basically, without providing evidence your allegation is just another anonymous baseless claim that is going to be dismissed by the community.

We, as a community, can't interact with this topic more than consider it a claim because wrote it and deseappear without providing a single proof or follow the report format. Op, aren't you interested in your topic about half a million dollars? Or the case has already been resolved right after posting this thread? Strange behavior.

By supposing the story is true, I see that withdrawing this big amount might exceed the withdrawal limits. I am not a Whale.io user so I can't tell exactly about their withdrawal limits. By searching the web, from a rating website, it is mentioned that withdrawal limits are 50,000$ but without to mention if it is daily or monthly:

Maximum withdrawal is $50,000, although not specified whether weekly or monthly. Most payouts clear after one internal review, then move on the chain. For small and medium amounts, this can take a few minutes. There are no withdrawal fees from Whale.io, but you do pay network gas on each transaction.

I just took a look at what their Terms & Conditions say when it comes to withdrawing big amounts of winnings. @coupable is right. They can process such payments in multiple installments, and they choose how and when to pay out large winnings.

Here is the exact quote from their TOS on the subject of large withdrawals:

4.8 Large Withdrawals: For any withdrawal request exceeding the equivalent of 50,000 USDT (or its equivalent in other supported cryptocurrencies), reserves the right to process the payment in installments. The structure and timing of these installments will be determined at our sole discretion, based on operational, security, and compliance considerations. We may also require additional verification procedures before processing such withdrawals. By requesting a large withdrawal, you acknowledge and accept these terms.

But in your case, maybe everything is being check out by Whale itself. I'm not saying that you are cheating or something, but perhaps they have rules for their fraud department that everything seems to work out.

Most likely than not, it's the game provider who conduct the review and the casino themselves, just like you, can only wait until they greenlighted the round.

The worrying point in this case is that the estimated period required for verification is without defined time intervals. It is opened to all probabilities. But since OP didn't return to this thread, I guess he received his winning either in full or in agreed batches.

Op maybe busy spending his fortune so he is not interested to update here. But the casino should announce the news as it will boost his position among his competitors as a trusted casino opened for whale wagers.

I understand your concern and would very much agree. I'll make sure OP provided me with that in exact format suggested by our pinned thread, following the 14 work-days time I set, and prior to me nudging and pulling strings to get ahold of someone on Whale.

Nope i have not and it is hard to see a scam accusation against Whale.io. it is an excellent platform IMO. That's not to say you are lying or anything, but a good start would be to give us something other than your words, something to believe that what you said actually happened. Right now it is just your word and sadly we cannot hold that.

If or when you post evidence, i can send a pm to their representative on the forum, notifying them of this thread, but until then, i don't think there is any need for anyone to do that just yet.

And it's way too early to even bring it to Scam Accusations. People should wait more than a week to post it as a scam.
