If you are trying to know the country with the most gamblers here in the forum, it will be difficult to get that actual and accurate data.

The poll is already enough. You can vote if your country is listed there, and if not, that’s where the OP is asking you to mention your country, only if you want to.

With the limited information from the OP, I’d also like to ask what the real purpose of this survey is. If we keep speculating without clarity, this thread will just turn into a long discussion full of assumptions.

Since I do translations and post quite a bit on our local board, I have no problem saying that I'm Brazilian and live in Brazil (South America). We have many online casinos here; for me, a downside is that they don't accept cryptocurrencies, so I practically use them very little, only when I want to gamble with our local currency.

OP, where gamblers gamble or come from is not necessary, what is important is the fact that they gamble for fun, and they do that responsibly because that would make them have that sense of discipline in them as gamblers, but from the survey so far, I noticed that the majority of the gamblers are from asia which speaks of volume. Although that is not my concern, I presume you are likely doing or working on research by putting up this poll here for us to vote and comment on.

I think it is not worth knowing the location of the gamblers here because everyone can keep their privacy. It is true that everyone likes to gamble from their own location and from their own home. People are now gambling online, not on the side of the road or in a shop or next to a shop. Since people are gambling from their own home and from their own location, I think it is not reasonable to mention the name of any region or country here. My biggest identity is that I gamble responsibly here. I am not a compulsive gambler.

I am from Asia. It's ironic that my country has banned other online casinos and yet, it has got a lot of local casinos, offline and online that are registered. They only want one thing about it and that's to see them operate with the registered ones because they're paying for the taxes and the operations. And that's the compromise that they do for the usual operations, they have blocked most of the online casinos offshore and suggests to stick to the local casinos.

To what reasons do you wanna know the areas and regions of people where they are gambling from? Everyone gambles from their respective homes.

I think this type of survey can create a general view and a clearer picture on the best location target in launching your gambling sites or casinos, since you know that this geographical location tends to have more gamblers, it will prompt you to provide ease of access on your services to those residing in that location, in terms of games, registration, depositing and withdrawing, KYC(if needed), e.t.c.

At the end of the day alot of us belong to local boards which ultimately already tell to an extent where we are located, of course most people are not currently in their country of origin so we can't assume that they are there just because they are active in their local boards , the vote should be enough, except for Russia being it's own country the rest are continent so people's exact location can't be exposed, privacy is very important to slot of people after all so they won't be very eager to tell.

I don't think that OP will get an accurate data about the continent of members that gamble most on this forum because one member can use alt account meaning more than one vote on the poll. Maybe the poll is just for fun because you might be from one continent and reside in another continent and I wonder which will be the right continent to choose since OP didn't throw more light. As for privacy of continent or country that each of us belong to that doesn't matter because most of us that our languages are not originally English have our local boards. I know that with online gambling it doesn't matter much where you're gambling from.

In my country, almost all gaming websites are blocked. The government takes a very strict stance on such sites. As soon as a new online casino appears, it's quickly blacklisted. Unless you have a VPN, you can't access it. The situation is only getting worse every day, although the government has recently been considering a bill that seeks to legalize this business. What will happen in the end? Time will tell.

Yes we are a family here, but that doesn’t elude the fact that we are still an anonymous community, so rather than directly asking people to share their country you can simply ask them to share their opinion on which country they think the most gamblers are from.

Almost every local board in this forum have active gamblers, so selecting a country they shouldn't restrict from using their casino to gamble, it should be every country with active local board in this forum. Discussions on there and reality don’t lie. With this, they can get maximum outreach of users in the forum that will patronize their casinos. This may not be accurate but it kills the sense of doubt of not even trying while losing out from those regions.

I voted already on the poll. As for me, there’s no point on hiding my country since I do post on my local board.

I may be posting from my local board that I’m a birth citizen of but that doesn’t mean that I’m residing there or taking my bets from there. The local board may be your identity to the forum, but in some cases, doesn’t fit well as to where you’re gambling from, although in most cases it does for gamblers here.

It still wouldn't change anything in the regions that will be restricted because restrictions are based on government laws, social concerns and cultural values. One thing is that since you are gambling online, you can bypass your government law with a VPN but no casino will go against their license restrictions. We have a lot of gamblers out there that ain't in this forum.

It is evident that explaining the purpose of a survey is essential when it comes to identifying the willingness of people towards engaging in an online survey or not. The personal curiosity is not sufficient to encourage the respondents to provide their sensitive data on a voluntary basis. Wrapping the intent in form of future research will definitely enhance confidence, hence resulting in more valid data with multiple parties. It is essential to be truthful and open with the intent of garnering information since our good intentions to the broader society will pay off.

It any case, it won't matter to him, there will be a small sample size here but I wouldn't be surprise if there will be alot of gamblers coming from Asia as they have a hub in Macao and some land base casinos across and that players could trickle and playing right now on online.

But overall though, I think there are a lot of gamblers all over the world here, just look at the local boards and who has the highest number of members or at least that local boards has a lot of discussions and topics, in short it's lively.

Yes but the poll would show figures and percentage for the Op to use what he wants it for. So far Asia is leading the poll and African second. The thread with the poll is like a research study work. This forum has a lot of gamblers, many have retired and active onse are still plenty. Let's us really see the continent that has the highest gambling number. And I strongly believe no continent can beat Asia.

What I meant is the restrictions on the license since casino license have different coverage depending on what they avail to their license provider.

Some country requires separate license in able to operate and that’s what I’m pertaining if worthy to pursue that license or not depending on the number of gambler on that region.

This is not a problem on big casino but for small to medium casino this is a problem due to tight budget.

The issue with this kind of pool is still the same thing with regular stats because it will likely not give a through assessment of what the actual popular of gamblers that are on the forum are and some members of certain local board which represent their region might not be all that involved in this poll.
Restriction of certain region from engaging in gambling is still another factor that will also limit certain people because for some region, you have to go as far as using a VPN before you gain access to certain casino which is going to be another factor. the population of members of each local board that are active on the gambling board will at the end of the day influence the numbers that will be involved in the pool.
