In my opinion, conducting your own research into the countries of residence of Bitcointalk forum users interested in gambling isn't that difficult. 🙋

To do this, simply compile a list of participants actively discussing gambling and see which national forum sections they post in. This will allow you to roughly determine their nationality, country, and continent of residence.💁

At the same time, it's important to remember that we live in a global world. For example, today I live in Europe, and tomorrow I could live in Asia, Africa, or Latin America. And that's okay!

That would take a lot of work to analyze. The OP could probably just run a simple survey instead of overcomplicating it.

I’m from the Philippines, and gambling isn’t illegal here, so it’s not surprising that the industry keeps growing. It’s a good environment to run that kind of business. I’m not too familiar with the exact tax rates or regulations, but even unlicensed platforms are still making money from Filipino players.

The reality is, our government isn’t really capable of fully blocking access to unregistered casinos. As long as people can still reach those sites, they’ll continue to generate revenue from the country, licensed or not. (this is a good opportunity for operators)...

This isn't an invasion of privacy, we have many gamblers on this forum that for nothing they like to gamble without revealing their privacy, they loved to do it under the influence of no Kyc and that's because there country has restricted them from gambling or they might just have another reason to why they are holding in to that, they love to do their things privately, I'm not sure if the result you are looking for you are going to get it at the end of the day.

If you want to ask, maybe you can manually request the casino which you know that they are not going to reply you, there is no way you are asking any casino about the privacy of their customers and they are going to reply you unless you are law enforcement which you are not.
For fun sake, you might want to just create a poll and perhaps people that have interest the poll will reply but that doesn't mean it accurate information.

Haha, I also thought this wasn't a very good question for Bitcointalk users, and of course I'm not going to say where I play from, because they're collecting data everywhere now, and we need to monitor our own more carefully. In logical sense of things one is not supposed to dignify this with any form of response! because gambling, in many ways, is a private thing to everyone. People gamble from different locations, some gamble on a plane, some on a train and some in a commercial vehicle. So the location of a gambler is not really something to disclose. But for the sake of fun!!! I will say its a cool question to ask. At least the poll you created should do justice to where most gamblers emerge from.

Given that we are a global forum, where most people play online, it shouldn't matter much where each person is from. I believe that as long as the casino is available in our countries of residence, everything else ceases to matter. It's simply a question of which casino offers us the best services in our country. Furthermore, it's not very important where the casino is located, or rather, where its headquarters are. As long as it's a quality service, the casino will have better customers regardless of where we access it from.

Are you running the survey to gather enough information which could be used for some targeted promotions based on the place which you consider to have the highest number of gamblers or is there some sort of data collection which will aid in helping Wagie (your AI) improve? We have people from different continents here who some just don't even want to leave a trace of the country where they are from, and might just ignore the voting or even drop a comment about it.

I am located in Europe nowadays and I think quite a majority of people play here, I also see from the chat rooms in different casinos that Asia has a great share too, a lot of people play there, same for US and Australia so based on these facts I conclude that gambling is an universal feeling that in reality knows no boundaries. So it is not really important where we gamble from rather it is important our universal feeling for the love of the game. May you win a lot as luck has abandoned me a really long time ago.

Well you are not going to get any scientific data from your poll question and it might be nice to
add the 'stats' you are familiar with to the OP.

Gambling is a worldwide activity so maybe more people from Asia will cast their vote in this poll
but what exactly does that tell you? its very limited.

I am in Europe FWIW. I dont mind sharing my continent of residence but  its not going to lead to
my exact location within Europe, same for everyone else in Asia for example - if everyone is
voting correctly.

I don't know why you ask this question but I will like to understand you a bit, do you mean where Bitcointalk gamblers are betting from or do you mean what casinos they are using to bet? If you are a gambler, I know you will have a casino you like using bet and this may be because you have been profitable using the casino.
I have my own favorite casino I like using to bet and everyone does that too. Casino players are gambling from different regions of the world including Africa, Asia, Europe, South and North America depending on the accessable location by the casino.

Even if our data are not save in the internet aiding it won't help especially giving out information's like op is seeking even though bitcointalk might be able to protect us a little, but op where the data in the casino says is where some is gambling from that should be accurate enough because a certain group or location might be willing to vote here while others won't hence still defecting the actual purpose of the thread. asking this type of questions will make people willing not respond to the thread hence op you won't get the accuracy you seek.
