Where do you Gamble from?

My nationality isn't a secret, you can find that if you just go through the history so yeah I am from Asia, precisely from India. Where online gambling is prohibited by the government recently that almost wipied billion dollar market that was even sponsoring the India cricket team. SO the status of gambling is not legal there for now but it will be back soon, cause those billion dollar business wouldn't want to go this way.

Who knows, perhaps OP is part of the staff of some small casino which will launch soon here on the forum, and they are seeking to gather information from our community, so they can better target gamblers from here and maximize their profits.
if you thing about it, there are companies which spend a serious amount of money on market search, so they understand their potential costumers and the changes their business have to get into profit and not to loss all their initial investment.

It is kind of intelligent is a casino does something as simple but as effective as just asking people on this section of the forum where they are from, if you think about it.

Anyways, it seems people from south America are under-represented here on the gambling section... though, there are more people from Asia than I initially expected.

Some may not want to display their location for some privacy reasons, but does it actually matters to even ask for the location from which we are gambling form on the forum, some may turn it off and find it unpleasant to say, but to be rest assure of having a clue about the country that dominate the forum the most, we can check on the local board stats and discover more for ourself, even though this does not have to do with gambling.

You can check where those gamblers are located by looking at their posts. They sharing many things with their locals including talking about gambling so you can guess where their location.

Is it not easier to just ask than review every member's post to know where they are residing?  Although I do not know why @OP is asking for the members of this forum's region, I do not think it will hurt answering it, besides the region is too vast to pinpoint our location.

I am from Asia, btw, and I think there are a lot of us from Asia who frequent the gambling discussion board, so the information you'll get will have a huge discrepancy on the statistics where all the members actually live.

I have not been to any of the Asian countries but from movies and TV Programmes, I can say no region in the world can beat Asian countries in gambling. So if we have 10 Asian countries in this forum, then the gambling number will be very high than others. No competition with you on that one.

I see that people from Asia gamble the most and I am also a person from the Asian continent. I gamble and I have a long history in gambling. I have been gambling like an addicted gambler for a long time and lost a lot of money here which broke my financial structure. I have lost my savings. And still I am suffering from financial crisis. And I think it will take me another 2 years to overcome this crisis. Asian people are economically weak so greed is more visible among them so they are very interested in gambling

I'm from Asia, and before voting, I was expecting that Europe or North America would get a large vote, and it turned out to be Asia, maybe because we have a lot of Asian members here who voted, but on the real stats, the United States is the number one country with many gamblers.
I don't think the stats will show the true number; some members who gamble will prefer not to vote, just as in other polls here in Bitcointalk.

What does stats say? Based on this poll until now, there are more gamblers in this forum from Asia than from any other continent, so we asians love to gamble, huh? lol.

Every region probably has a specific type of gambling that people love, like the people from the first-world countries mostly love playing roulette based on what I've observed. People from our region mostly play slots games because they tend to have very high multipliers and people around here often play for profits, and they know that slots have the highest chance of making them good money with a single bet, and because of this, they ignore the fact that slots can also be the riskiest of them all because once they start eating your money, they don't stop until your money is over.

By the way, you said that we should vote once, but you can't actually vote again once you cast your vote in a forum like this, so if you make a vote once, it's already done and you can't redo it.

Really this sounds like an off topic comment to me, because ops is asking the region that have highest gambler's here on bitcointalk via the poll created, at least if you don't vote in the poll which is the most important, commenting here in this thread is somewhat not so important unless you have something good to write about.

Until now there is a great dominance between Asia and Africa, but apart from a great interest in betting in these continents, I think that the best explanation is because it coincides with the activity in the forum, at least lately.

In my case, it is well known that I live in Spain, so I gamble from the EU. At least, until we're expelled because of the misunderstandings with Trump and Germany decides to kick us .

I’m also curious why you’re asking about something that clearly shouldn’t even be questioned. We’re in this forum to protect our privacy in the first place. To me, it’s not important and it doesn’t affect anything in gambling. What matters most is that we gamble at crypto casinos so we can stay anonymous.

OP, from the voted pool, Asia are leading, followed by Africa. It could be that's the correct answer to the number of gamblers we have in the forum, but don't use that to give a final result pool because not every one voted in the pool, many haven't and who vote in the pool you created. Knowing the exactly place where people gamble the most from, will be hard for people to reveal to

Is this question really necessary? I don’t really think there is any reason why you should know where people on bitcointalk here are gambling from. All the regions which you mentioned in your polls, you should know that people from every region will be making use of gambling sites on forum here, but I don’t think you going to get the actual people using casinos from each region, most people are just even going to ignore your poll, because I don’t really think it’s useful, and I don’t even know what you going to use the information for.

The poll shows one thing, Asia and Africa have the highest gambler in the forum. If you will be more specific, make a poll for casino players and sport bettor.
Asian and North America will have the larges number for casino players, while Africa will be the largest for number for sport betting. Everyone around me in my region focuses on sport betting, i wont be surprised it is the way i predicted it to be.

I don't think it's necessary to know where people gamble from or the country that has the highest rate of gambling.Gambling is not region-based either.Gambling is just like the normal business, which anyone can be involved in with no restrictions, in any region and in any country too. Bitcointalk gamblers are from different locations because the forums have different people in them. The only thing we should be thinking of is how to educate those who are addicted on how to stop or send them to rehabilitation and to gamble responsibly.

Does ones location really matters in gambling, all that should matters is that are you a gambler and  how does it affect your daily life,is your stats not correct or you just want to hear directly  gambling from Africa .

Many are from Asia here, Philippines, Indonesia, and other Asean countries. I guess that with the population of Russia, they might be the top country and if online gambling there isn't prohibited.

That's a big country and the same with mine in the Philippines. We've got a lot of gamblers here, locally that goes to the casinos and even in the streets. And if they're going online, it's very convenient due to the usage of e-wallets and how accessible they are and that's in fiat too.

Anyway, I don't really know what the purpose of this poll but I think it will be important to those who are trying to start a business in gambling. Getting the license from the area where there are more customers will be crucial to increasing the number of players/gamblers and making more profits in return. Still, continents like Asia have lots of countries with different rules, so it will be difficult to get all the licenses needed to offer the gambling services in many Asian countries.
