We are gradually heading towards 2027 general election, which is to take place around the month of February 2027.
The politicians have started making their plans and strategy to take advantage of the general election.
Already, they have started planning to kickstart their campaigns, and making their promises. We equally understands the nature of Nigeria's election, the parties involved are already planning how to manoeuvre the upcoming election in other to favour them, and are ready to go to any length in other to achieve their their aim.

As Nigerians, it is necessary to cast our votes according without being influenced by any politician, because they will still come in their usual way, making promises they will not fullfil in other to gain the people's mind. More also, this period of campaign is when you see these politicians giving out gifts and money to gain the interest of the people, where as they have held this political positions without seeing the need to empower or care for anybody.

Nelson Mandela says " we shouldn't trust people's words, but we should trust their actions". We have had enough deceptive words from these politicians, making them do things entirely different from their manifesto.
Let us vote wisely, even though we understand the election is always manipulated, avoid selling your vote for any politician because of their empty promises and little gift they may offer in other to buy your vote.
We all have the right to vote and be voted for, but don't vote for any politician just because they offered you money, doing that means denting your integrity as a Nigerian, and selling your voting right.

Your opinions are welcomed here.

To me everyone should vote their conscience, no one should be influenced into voting who he/she will regret tomorrow, this next year election is very significant because it will sharpen what happens in the next 16years, if Tinubu wins then it’s a continuation of the APC agenda, if ADC wins then a new beam of light will arise in the political sphere.

However, all Nigerians should come out to vote and protect their vote, don’t let anyone deceive you into believing that your vote don’t count, also don’t let anyone talk you into believing a particular candidate just because of tribal or religious sentiments, instead check each candidate’s track record and choose wisely, don’t sell your vote because of cheap offers like bag of rice and cash, let’s all ensure that this coming election transform the trajectory of our political structure in the country.

This is the season of politics a lot are happening Underground, it is high time for citizen to make sure they do the right tat the right time, whatsoever they usually say that this is also our season because this is the time we have right to change government even though they don't work with it. I was watching one interview when someone was saying that it is improper for us to believe that our vote do not count, he said if we believe that it is not count then why do they spend so much money on buying votes, when is said something like this I was totally confused because i begin to reason with him but honestly I still don't trust our politicians.

Our politicians are very intelligent, they have so many strategies to make things happen on their own favour, you can see how they turn our result upside down when the candidate we elected is not their main target they decide to go to court and turn things outside down and that is why I strongly believe that our vote do not count.

You have said something that is right, but in this country its not about casting vote, because the vote of the people doesn't count. Even if we all vote rightly, they will still rig the election to favor whoever they want in power. It such a pity that we live in this part of the world that election is a do or die affairs, where the vote of the citizens does not count. I must confess that i really hate election in Nigeria,  because sometimes i feel they already know the winners even before the election,  so we are just coming out to vote for formality, but not to choose a leader. They will definitely come out with gifts to buy votes, and you begin to see them take pictures with the poor masses, not because they like them, but just to make them look good. The most annoying thing is that their are people that are ready to kill and even die for this greedy politicians. I really pity for the future of Nigeria,  because i think Nigeria is helpless and hopeless.
