BTC Sentiment Poll for March

I'm officially clueless on what's going on. With the war in Iran and the expected worldwide oil supply problems that will probably translate into higher inflation rates, slower economic growth and possibly increases in interest rates in many countries, you would expect markets to have strong bear sentiment, yet, we're seeing green.

I imagine Strategy making a huge one-day purchase of 22,337 bitcoins, which I believe was the biggest one-day purchase since late 2024 could have something to do with elevating Bitcoin's price, but still, the reason they could have bought that much is that there was a demand for their preference shares. So it could be a symptom rather than the cause.

Strategy has now crossed the 750k bitcoins held barrier, and its current holding is 761,068 bitcoins.

Fuds is good at start, but when everything pass and people start to move on market start to ignore those troubles continuously happened on other countries.

Its good that we see Bitcoin remain stable at $70k up price level and recent movement show some good signs that maybe there's something more better will happen. Although there's some slight decline happened as of this writing but maybe Bitcoin can eventually recovers again. So again let's just find out on how much Bitcoin will end up at the end of March, since if it climbs up this maybe shows that there's another positive situation will happen next month.

LOL...the sellers needed to be pleaded with. Your call eventually came through, at least, for now, as 5 months of uninterrupted selling surely needs some breaths. Last week did the trick, though the pattern started forming a week earlier, last week confirmed the simplest bullish price action that's bold enough to encourage more buyers to take action. The question is, for how long?

As we advance, the market scope is shaky despite the bullish progress, even as the weekly gains are almost fully eliminated. The market crossed $70,775 level (weekly 50% Fibo) last week and closed above it. If the level is sustained, more rise is possible this week, and Bitcoin might close the month positive. But a break below the level will create a bearish candle that might push the price back toward the trendline support at $60,606. While a close below $70,775 may aggregate some selling pressure.

I've drawn bearish trendlines before and I'm fairly convinced now we've left that regular sell.   That doesn't mean a gain thereafter but its notable we have slowed in the decline for some time now.
  Recently good price action in BTC but the last two days is a warning not to get too carried away in thinking again BTC rises regularly here, its got alot more work to do.  Strategy buying or not isnt enough, market is wider then just that but of course it helps some and raises confidence.

Looks like the buy up was jinxed by all the excitement.  Lolol.  It's now back under 70k and looks like it's gonna go down some more when the US market opens in an hour or so.

Wouldn't be surprised of BTC goes back down and touch 65k, bounce a little bit then break down below it.  The Iran shenanigans doesn't look like it's gonna be resolved this month...

You can't always go down forever, there is literally not enough sellers to make that happen, sure it can continue after a while, but can't be a down back to back to back forever without ever having any good months.

March was not bad, still not great but not bad, it did not go down as much as previous months at least, and we are going to see it probably start going back down soon enough, we just need to make sure we can do better on the long run. For that reason we have to watch it carefully, just because it did not go down this month, doesn't mean that the bear is gone forever, it could be right around the corner and we could even see it go down sooner than you think, and that's why we need to be very careful and not be too forward with our investments.

March was not bad, still not great but not bad, it did not go down as much as previous months at least, and we are going to see it probably start going back down soon enough, we just need to make sure we can do better on the long run. The recent crash from around $75k to below $70k is about to spoil all the gains made by Bitcoin this month of March. My expectations was a little raised this month especially when Bitcoin surged above $70k but it seems that the rate decision might have caused the sharp reversal we saw and the crash is seen even in gold and other commodities except energies. The month can still be a positive one for Bitcoin, the opportunity is still there.

Wouldn't be surprised of BTC goes back down and touch 65k, bounce a little bit then break down below it.  The Iran shenanigans doesn't look like it's gonna be resolved this month...

I won't be surprised either. The market witnessed a sudden fall to around $68,700 yesterday, which hints that Bitcoin is not "out of the woods yet. The weekly candle is negative as well, even as the market continues to hold below the daily chart EMA50. All these could aggravate some selling pressure, if the conditions are not speedily reversed this week.

The price of Bitcoin has been in a high range for most of March, limited to between $70,000 and $75,000. However, the current price of Bitcoin is showing a bullish trend again, but if this current war and unique and alarming situation is over, the price of Bitcoin will definitely enter above $80K. Because the price of Bitcoin is currently under control and many people are trading, the price of Bitcoin is most likely to be $80K plus by the end of March.

I think Bitcoin's sudden surge is related to the ongoing conflict in Iran. According to multiple sources quoting Trump, the US and Iran have had very productive talk, and he has also canceled plan to attack Iranian energy facilities. After this news was released, I checked the market and found that gold was also rising, not just Bitcoin.

If this information is correct, we could see Bitcoin continue to rise even higher when the stock market reopens tomorrow. But if it is just fake news, the opposite could happen.

Most of the month has passed but the candle is still showing red. Global instability is still there and it seems that it will last for a few more weeks or even longer. Is the price of Bitcoin still stable compared to the situation in the stock market? It is still showing stable in my opinion. Not falling too much means that Bitcoin will recover its ATH if there is a possibility of a ceasefire. The price of oil in the world market is decreasing in a day and with the ongoing talks of a ceasefire in the Middle East there will be a significant positive change in the market situation as soon as a solution is found.

Nobody knows what happened to the market, other than the market has smoked weed.

I was surprised too because the path was somewhat clear initially, well, not so surprised because in times like this, when the US/Israel-Iran war is going on, where it affects the world one way or another, that will also bring about ripple effects across markets, so anything is possible. We just need to brace for more surprises.

Ah yeah...  Smells like shenanigans all around.  I bet their guys bought a bunch of BTC, metals and stocks before Trump made the announcement.  These guys are just there to line up their pockets.  But yeah, must be nice to get first hand info on these things. 

The good part it is it looks like BTC is gonna close in the green this month.    I think you guys will love next month's poll.  Gonna be one of those ones that make us look dumb either way.

The price of Bitcoin was above $70K for most of March, so the candles remained green even though they turned red for a while. This means that the price of Bitcoin is quite under control and long-term holders are buying Bitcoin and they are holding Bitcoin for the long term.
As a result, it is normal for the price of Bitcoin to increase, but due to the war situation here, the price of Bitcoin also had a slight downward trend. Although this is the end of March, I think the possibility of the price of Bitcoin touching $80K next month is very high.

By the end of this month of March, we should still be on a similar rate with the market price, with my suggestion being at $75,000 or below, but sure we can't have less than $60,000 between now and the end of the month, that is why we should remain being speculative, because the market is always volatile and can change at anytime.

I would tend to say bitcoin is around the compression point but got to wait a bit longer for it to play out.
I'm guessing we might even see a longer period around the 70-90k mark as a level going forward over a longer period of time.

Not to say a sudden reversal could not be on the cards and it be a very large "v-shape" recovery, so to speak.

According to coinglass.com, March is currently in green and we are up +5.86% from the beginning of the month.
We are holding pretty strong. The war on Ian started on the last day of Feb (Saturday). While stock markets have been "protected" by the weekend, so traders had two days to get used to the new reality and calm down, crypto markets operate 24/7, so Bitcoin started the month with some panic selling going on.

Now we are 4 weeks into the conflict. Markets seem to be taking it lightly, but the psychological effect is one thing and the real, tangible effects are another. If it's true what they say about the blocking of the Strait of Hormuz, that, if not resolved soon, it could cause a global shortage of oil, which would have a cascading effect on the oil price, inflation and the global economy. It will be hard for traders to remain positive.
If oil goes up, all the costs go up, which means less available money for customers to spend + we could see an increase in interest rates to tackle the inflation. And that's assuming there will be enough oil for all services to go uninterrupted.

It appears that we will certainly witness if this month will be green or red when these bitcoin options expire in Friday heheheh. According to this news article, if billions in options contracts expire this will cause the market to have a big dump! This will be headshaking again if we have another of these occurrences.



Traders are bracing themselves as the expiry date for a colossal amount of Bitcoin options fast approaches.

A total of $17 billion in digital assets options — more than $14.5 billion in Bitcoin — are set to expire on crypto derivatives platform Deribit on Friday.

The expiry date falls on the same day that US President Trump set as the deadline for Iran to make a deal to end the ongoing military conflict between the two countries.

The president postponed a threat to bomb Iran’s power grid on Tuesday after he said he’d had productive talks with Iranian officials.

Iran has denied that such talks took place.

When options are set to expire, crypto markets can become more volatile as would-be traders will either continue to hold or dump their potential buys.

In the past, when large amounts of options have expired, the market has crashed.
