What a shame! They just gave themselves the award for being the first company ever to block my account since I started using the internet almost 30 years ago.What was the allegation? Multi-accounting abuse. Do I have money in the account? No. Have I ever deposited/gambled with the account or even Betfury whatsoever? No. Did I use a VPN in opening the account? Never! VPN has never been my thing. I go 100% local. Perhaps, you opened an account in the past that you forgot about...Just maybe? Well, I know BetFury on Bitcointalk, and just opened an account last month (February). To avoid being too perfect, I did some extensive background checks on all my email addresses, which came out with just one account (the one opened in February). This means I am 100% clean, yet my account was blocked for multi-accounting abuse. Reason for the thread: This is to strike the conscience of those who insensitively condemn those who claimed their accounts were unjustly blocked, but instead to be neutral (since you don't have access to their system), relied on the casino's words for multiple account abuses. I hope it doesn't happen to you with your money confiscated. Maybe you will feel the pains some people feel, despite being innocent. I can only imagine myself having $5,000 in that account. Well, I am sure they will be pouring water on my head by now, and begging me to wake up...lol

This is a good warning thread, people should take this seriously and not keep high amounts of money in casino accounts as something like that can happen to them anytime. It is not just betfury too, all of them can do that. All the exchanges can do that too. If you don't own the private keys, you don't own the coins, it is as simple as that. Casino and exchange names are not important here. It is about having a mindset. If you keep money on a platform where you don't own the private keys of your crypto, always consider that money lost. If you do that, eventually you'll hodl more of your coins in your cold wallets.

there are things we need to consider before accusing any casino of anything. Although I do not gamble with betfury but am sure multi accounting is not allowed on their platform, and this rule was clearly stated on their platform too. According to you, if you opened an account before and forgot it maybe, and you went ahead to open another one on the same betfury that clearly stated on their platform that multi accounting is not allowed. Please note, am not here to defend betfury, instead to educate you on how casinos operate. From the casino end what you did is called policy violation. You broke one of their rule by opening more than one account, even though your intentions was clear. And despite you never deposited on that account nor gamble with it their rules were clear, multi accounting is not allowed and you broke the rule. So Instead of accusing them wrongly there are others ways Cases like this can be handled amicably between the player and the casino. I will leave you with this thread which I created few days ago.

Probably a false flag. The system they set up only follows certain parameters, and they matched those of other accounts, and they thought they were multiple accounts. They probably need to fine-tune their parameters.
It's why when such accusations of account blocks come and we are not able to see evidence brought up by the casino, I usually recommend users make a complaint using platforms like CasinoGuru, where the mediators usually review all the evidence.

I thought casinos usually say in their terms that you can't have multiple accounts. If a player breaks that rule and the casino finds out, the casino is legally allowed to do something about it, given the casino policy, this can include suspensions, canceling bonuses, or depending on the platform rules. What concerns me here is the fairness and consistency of the policies. The rules state that a player cannot have multiple accounts, and if a player created multiple accounts to abuse bounce or even bypass limits and get caught, then expect to suffer the consequences. The rules are in place for a reason. However, the problem starts when detection system is not 100% accurate, there are many reasons for things like overlapping IP addresses, accounts being on the same device, public wi-fi, or even people using the same phone number in a public setting can trigger false flags. I will not defend someone who claims they broke the rule on purpose, but I do think that casinos have a responsibility to provide clear evidence when they ban accounts, and they should have in place a process for people to appeal the bans. If there is no enforcement and policies are not clear to users, it will make the platform look untrustworthy, this is the balance that casinos must strike when enforcing rules.

Your reading comprehension sucks. Someone can make a mistake, but yes it is very good to first read a topic very well before posting at all. EarnOnVictor clearly included in his topic that he has not deposit money into his account on Betfury before. I think Betfury should make a statement about this, else it will be one of the gambling sites that I can not recommend or advise anyone to use.

Well, if you never deposited and don't have any money, no harm no foul. Although I can understand if for some reason you'd still want access to the account to participate in a contest or whatever. Are you sure nobody at your household also registered an account at BetFury? Neighbors maybe? Once I got hit with a multi-account accusation and it turns out my girlfriend at the time had opened an account at the same casino, and I had totally forgotten about it. sourceYou can see from the above that the first and second one are what may most likely indict almost anyone that lives a community lifestyle since you may likely have shared your network with another person who has a Betfury account in his device or uses your network to register one and the IP address becomes a match with yours which would activate the multi-accounting flag on your account. Secondly the device fingerprint you use on your phone may be tracked by the casino, so when another person uses your browser to access his own account, (maybe log out of yours and log into theirs and gamble with it), these unique hardware signatures or browser configurations becomes a match and would be flagged too. It's not totally about yourself having more than one account, some practices you engage in can see your account flagged for multi-accounting. This is why I don't use my regular device for casinos since I knew about these multi-accounting detection patterns. This also told me that the casino logs more data from our devices than we think and can flag our accounts from activities we least expected, that's if my findings is very correct. I'm not validating Betfury's claim, they could be 100% wrong, I'm just citing other possibilities that may have played out which can possibly lead to the account being flagged and blocked by their system for multi-accounting. Maybe you can reach out to the support team to find out more of the main reason you were blocked.

Well, see it as good fortune. I closed my account with this site since all the stuff they pulled has costed me some nerves. Didn't see any reason to keep this nonsense going after the terrible support/vip support/false advertisement and other stuff. I have closed several other accounts with sites in the best but betfury (next to BC) felt the best for me.
This case shows how volatile those systems to find multiple accounts actually are.

Lost my Fury account too after winning a few contests and winning some coins from nothing, but no hard feelings despite having a blast on this platform.. just wish they had manual reviews to reinstate accounts because bots can't be trusted on their own.

on the bright side, at least they blocked your account before you had the chance to deposit and possibly won some money (unlike some other casinos that wait until you ask for a withdraw, then hit you with it).

This is interesting actually.
I don't know why a casino would suddenly ban your account for no reason. Usually, the casinos ban user accounts when players request a withdrawal, and the casino checks the account before releasing the withdrawal. However, this is the first time I am hearing that a casino banned an account on which the player never made a deposit, never played, and did nothing.
I am curious what kind of internet connection you use. It does not make sense for the casino to ban you without any reason. They do not have any benefit since you never made a deposit. I can see that Betfury representative is here already. I hope they will figure it out.

Thanks for the offer to help, I truly appreciate it. However, their representative has contacted me via PM, and I'd provided the needed information. As for the WiFi, I don't use public WiFi. I know the risk. And I hardly do anything under influence, more reason why I searched all my email addresses, just in case.
