I came across a rather curious type of bet, at least new to me
Traffic betting 
You bet on how many vehicles will cross a certain intersection/traffic light

Has anyone here seen this before? Have you ever bet on it?

Answer to your question, I haven't seen or even heard about something like this, or bet on it before.

But first of, Is this like a simulation type of betting, or it is  based on real life traffic? if it's simulation I think it can easily be rigged, but if it is based on real life traffic, I think it's results can be verified, but from the picture above I think it's simulation, it will be fun to participate in though, I know it will be like a guessing game, but I'm curious to know if maybe they provide odds, like they set a range of numbers and provide odds to them, e.g, 10 cars have 1.5 odd or percent, 20 cars 1 odd or percent e.t.c, and another thing, which bet platform did you see this? Cause honestly I'd love to try it, it looks like fun, if they can make it like a mobile game, it would even be nicer

Quite interesting, never seen before;  it's not much different from those bet markets  like : how many yellow cards will be drawn, or how many corner kicks and so on.

Anyway this kind of betting reminded me about two friends of mine that used to travel together for job reasons and once they arrived at the destination airport, every single time without fail, they bet on which suitcase would come off the conveyor belt first and the winner would gain a series of privileges for the entire duration of the trip (such as choice of seat in the room, paid beers and things like that) ....f***ing degenerates

Every event, that has a random outcome can be used for betting. I wouldn't place bets on such events, because I find it really boring.
There's nothing fun in counting the cars in a rush hour and hoping for your bet to end up being profitable. What if such "vehicle traffic" bets can be manipulated? Someone could hire several Taxi drivers or Uber drivers and tell them to cross that traffic light at a given time of the day(the rush hour). This can definitely have an influence over the outcome of that particular event. If the outcome can be manipulated, then maybe the bookies must think twice before accepting such bets.

Obviously, if it's a game I haven't seen before, I can't bet on it. But I'm starting to find it a bit worrying how easy it is nowadays to bet on practically anything. Add to that the fact that we're all constantly connected to the internet, and I'm not surprised that gambling addiction is on the rise.

Their is actually nothing we wouldn't gamble with in this current generation, of a truth this is strange and the first time in gambling history I have ever had of this. But to be honest it will be fun I guess so because their is no addiction or any form of loss chasing, it's just rather pure vibe . And one amazing thing is that every thing is properly monitored by the street CCTV cameras and their will actually be no room for cheating. However, assuming I was opportune to give it a trial I would have spend some real cash on it .

I have never seen this type of bet before but it is interesting, the idea feels quite strange and at the same time fun. Predicting the amount of cars that go by based on a real road scene is actually a game of observation and guess work. But I think in the end it's also kind of a gambling thing, because we don't know for sure how many cars are gonna fly up in the next couple seconds, One can guess a little bit by looking at the traffic on the road, but still a lot is uncertain. Another thing is that one can create the artificial traffic and fixing if he wants, So while its fun I think for small amounts its best to play, just for fun.

Betting on traffic is very dangerous, and I think one of the reasons behind betting on traffic is addiction because someone who is addicted to gambling is always impatient and can gamble any place and anytime. Responsible gambler will avoid gambling while driving because it can lead to accident and which can even involve lost of human life and property damage.
I have seen this before, where a driver was on staring and at thesame time playing bet. In most cases it causes lost of concentration and focus while driving.
To me, gambling while driving is an anomaly, and it make you not to give full concentration on the road and also on the bet you are playing. When predicting a bet, it is necessary to give full attention to the games you want to bet on, and sometimes might require you to even go on research to enable you place informed bet, but by the time you are driving and also betting, you loose full attention in your driving and also on the bet you want to play.

If it's based on real traffic, it's easily manipulated if you're some kind of municipal official, or a road construction official, or a water pipeline, etc. It is enough, for example, to simply block traffic on parallel streets under the pretext of repairs. I see more and more types of bets appearing - it seems that betting on any event has turned into a global pandemic. Well, that's just ridiculous. This will only make traditional gambling more popular in the long run, because randomness cannot be manipulated. Betting is very susceptible to manipulation and insider trading. Actually, this is exactly the reason for the expansion of betting into all spheres of life.

First time to see a betting set up like this and looking at how creative those people to have this idea on which people could place a bet on traffic. Personally I don't know if I'm going to like this option, but somehow I'm curious on how people doing if they enjoy betting with this kind of set up.

This is also the first time a see a discussion about this matter here and quiet curious to know the opinion of other people if they like this or they ignore it, then remain to bet on traditional casino games or sports books they know for long time.

I have never seen this type of bet before. It seems very intriguing. I am actually surprised that this type of bet can exist. But here it is important to know whether this bet is actually being used as live traffic in an area or is it all being shown through an AI graphic . If it is based on real life roads then this traffic can be manipulated easily.

This makes sense, similar to real gambling if you ask me, you really can't guess what a vehicle would do next and betting on that is no different from betting on games or sports. This is surprisingly good, I have never heard about this before and the name "rush hour" seem to be the best for it, this is one good way of having fun without looking for any casinos nearby, the only problem here is one person can't do it, you need friends and as someone who moves alone most of the time this is not for me, I enjoy gambling online on my own but this is indeed a brilliant idea.

Apparently, someone realized an idea from their childhood. When we were little, my friends and I would hang out after school and make up all sorts of games, and there was something similar: how many cars would pass and what color they would be. This is the kind of fun and entertaining that gambling should be all about. I can see how this can be used as a way for people who love cars to just enjoy a few minutes of prediction, ofcourse with harmless amount of money so regardless of the account, the gamblers is entertained and the no major amount would be lost. This is another interesting game added to the casino because I haven't gamble on this one. It's just similar the kind of bet I, and my friends in high school bet on. What we do is to bet on the next two vehicles that will pass. If you get it right, you win the bet. How possible will one know how many cars will cross the traffic light lolz.

As a commuter who has been using the public transportation here in the Philippines for more than 10+ years now, I basically know all the rush hours and busy schedules of at least majority of the public transportation in our city. This kind of gambling betting game relies primarily on your knowledge on the streets.

One can argue that it’s basically random. But when you’re commuting at a daily basis, you would have a grasp regarding the current situation of the streets depending on the time of the day.

It's truly incredible that there are no limits to the imagination in betting.
I remember those who bet on horses, but not on who would win, but on which horse would come last or which horse would be injured.
In this case, are the intersections chosen at randomic method or is there a specific pattern for knowing which ones will be chosen? Can you imagine the peaks in views for compiling statistics on how many vehicles pass through each traffic light change?

I have heard of the name "rush hour" But what I don't remember is if it was a movie or a game, although I have not played the game before but the name rings a bell, it's probably a movie I watched with same name. I don't think this game is also as popular as other games that are being fronted on some casinos once you just log into the casinos website or app, you will come across some popular games being fronted, I have not seen rush hour among those games but if I see it, I might likely try it out.

I’ve already seen a couple of times how streamers play a game like this. I come across it in my feed quite often, so it seems to be some kind of new game that casinos are actively promoting through bloggers right now. On the one hand, it seems interesting because it’s almost impossible to manipulate the results in this game, since influencing internet traffic would be very difficult. I was about to create a thread for this few days ago since I was amazed to this game from a game provider that is new to me which is 155.

They frequently changed different traffic per round and this type of game is very good for those people that familiar on vehicle volume on that location for specific time frame since the details was disclosed.

I tried a couple of bets but I don’t have luck on this game.

Yes, it's creative approach to gambling with this new kind of games. At least we have something new, I think the last great hype on games is the aviator but it simply died down as the hype grows and somewhat gamblers have mental fatigue on it. This is the first time that I heard of this one to be honest, but it's quite interesting so I will have to check it out later. And for us who have lived in some countries that life traffic is normal, maybe we can all relate to it, have fun and then profit some money too in the end. It might not be boring for the most of us for now, but let's see if they can evolved this game into a more interesting catch.
