Sometimes I thought that I am watching a movie, but many things in movies can happen in life. A police officer in South Korea was contacted by an office manager of a law firm to help over up an investigation for an organization and he was paid for it. This was later known and the police officer was to pay a fine almost the amount the organization paid him and he is sentences to six years in prison. The person in charge of the organization connected to this was to pay fine and sent to 2 years and 6 months in prison.

Even in politics is that there's also a corruption so I definitely agree with agency or department checking their background and character of each candidates. In my country, I heard from news that a police officer become a criminal by killing a single mom because of being jealous so, when it comes to money then it will surely be much worse especially if the money offered is huge amount.

 What about the law firm? Don't they get punished as well or is this where one would say it is the client the law firm was trying to shield that would bear the punishment? All the same, it's unfair how few rotten eggs in the Force end up giving a bad reputation to the whole establishment due to greed and lack of integrity. At least they all got to serve their punishments. This brings me to the conclusion that no one is exempt from being tempted into going against the law. I wonder what led them to default though? If it's greed or the fact that they don't get paid enough. It's sad to know that this won't serve as a deterrent to others. Although this wasn't in South Korea but I've read of a case of a policeman being punished for illegal dealings with crypto.

This is not a case of hijack using power or forcefully putting allegations on innocent people like how the cops of my country behaves, in every country there is always this type of dirty cops, this is a case of bribery, to be honest it is still fair compared to what's happening on my own country where cops will get you killed to have access to your bank account and move your money.

South Korea shouldn't be underestimated, this cop must have some gut to start accepting bribes in a country that don't overlook a single crime, they don't care if you are a influencer or powerful person, and in an instant they will get your life ruined, many actors and actresses have gave up in life or even lost their lives because of how harsh this country have become, South Korea is a bully on its own, not just to outsiders but to their own people as well.
