That was the name of a video I watched last night.  I expected it years ago...

Anyone who has ever played civilization knows the last spot you place a city - in the desert.  But cheap prices and a forgiving climate lead to laziness.  Come this June the federal government is making serious changes to the Colorado river allocation.   Worst case scenario has Arizona losing 97% of their water rights.   A high ranking official said there were "sources" for domestic use so homes will never run dry internally (no more outdoor pools) but he failed to say what will happen to all the AI centers and chip makers like TSMC.

Water is not a big problem. The earth is full of what they call 'primary water'. People are finding out how to drill for it. Actually, there are a few primary water wells in California, that have been there for decades.

I guess they can just turn on a tap  - Lake Mead has been there for decades too.
