think about side effect of using sprinkler. You have really nice lawn!
A nice lawn that harasses everyone who is walking by is a really mean lawn. Oh. And lawn grass is the one crop that we cannot eat and is not even native to the USA (I am in the USA here). Why do you think it does not grow naturally unless you water it all the time? Instead of just having grass on a lawn, people should really consider growing their own food so that they can eat. I would rather plants where people grow edible food than stupid grass. Every sprinkler system should be required to shut off whenever there is someone nearby. And if they don't shut it off, I will sue the person for harassment and damage to property.
Fruits and edible plants (and even inedible plants) are more interesting than grass, but we never see people with gardens with useful food, so the least that they can do is stop it with sprinkler harassment.
