Holding your coins on an exchange is convenient. You don't need to worry about protecting your secret phrase, all you need to do is remember your password, which is not difficult to do.

Holding your coins on an exchange is surely convenient but it is the same convenience that puts your funds in danger.
With bitcoin and most other cryptocurrencies, it's quite simple that you are responsible to hold your own coins.
This clearly means that you should be holding the private keys yourself and not provide its custody to any 3rd party.
Cloud services like Google and exchanges are 3rd parties and so we should hold the private keys by ourself in a secure location.

And even if you lose your password, you can simply recover it through your email. As convenient as that would seem, it takes power, ownership and control away from you. It is this same convenience that the banks gave while they used customers deposits to enrich themselves. What is worst of the banks is that they no longer even offer the convenience because they became an integral part of the system that the economy will crash without.

In my opinion, storing cryptocurrency on an exchange is similar to storing money in a bank. Both are centralized and full of offers and promotions that actually benefit the banks. Especially, when we deposit a lot of money in a bank, they will be constantly offering offers, even coming to our house, which is very annoying. So, I think comfort can be felt when we have complete control, and nothing can interfere with that comfort. Well, I know this is somewhat contradictory to what the OP said about comfort itself, but I just wanted to express my feelings or experience.

Back to the main topic. I completely agree with the OP opinion, that comfort doesn't always benefit us. Comfort can sometimes make us neglect to realize the importance of being skeptical. Essentially, our brains work better when we are not too comfortable, and that can influence our mindset in the (decentralized) crypto world. Personally, I almost lost my wallet because I didn't back it up, and I remember feeling trivial about it at the time. One time, I needed that wallet, but I forgot how to back it up. After much searching, I discovered I'd carelessly written it down on my phone. I should have backed it up properly. Luckily, I found it backed up.

The point is, we shouldn't get too caught up in comfort, and we shouldn't be influenced by it. We can become careless when we get too comfortable, especially when using centralized services too often. Therefore, I advise us all to always be skeptical, and not get carried away by comfort. We should always be vigilant, especially in the crypto world, because if we are careless in crypto, we could lose something valuable.

Conveniency is for new innovations and stress free programs, and that's what everyone wants, nobody really want to stress themselves over anything and I see those those platforms to market themselves as the problem solver to clients problems.

Even in crypto especially altcoin, you could see my many new coins explaining themselves to be the best scalable network for sending coins at less fee, trying to beat Ethereum and other layer 1 blockchain, they are end up dead just like others.

Conveniency is the language of marketing, nothing more, just marketing to get clients attention, just that. It's up to the client to take the risk or not.

Now you just wanted to have a new address Electrum wallet supported a multiple wallet address for your transactions so you dont need to create another wallet.

I was only trying to check out a new wallet service and see how it is. I don't use electrum wallet, but the wallet I use supports multiple address.

If you are talking about bitcoin, I think bitcoin worth of investing because is the king of all cryptocurrencies and they have good teams that is making the bitcoin to be most favourable coin government and individual want to invest, investing in bitcoin is not by force because you will not invest for another person to enjoy, you have power over your bitcoin you are holding because without your password there is no way they can gain access to your coins even though it worth millions of dollars.this is a good advice to newbies, i don't buy coin because people are buying because you don't know what they got from their research to be move to buy too.

The point of of all these is that, things being easy, fast, and convenient may not always be in our favour. when things are convenient for us, we should always look at what it takes and see if it's worth it. Transaction with stable coins are fast and easy, but that doesn't make them better than transaction with Bitcoin.

Everything you have said here is very true and correct, most times people wants things done the convenient and easy way, people hardly want things done in the way they are going to feel any form of inconvenience, they just want to get things done easily and move on to another but then these forms of convenience can sometimes be really detrimental to us that is why if there is a safer way, its always best to use it even with the inconvenience that comes with it, do not try to attempt the supposed convenient way always so you don't get your self to be blamed when things goes wrong on that path you chose.
