Not only that, when you attack a country with much greater power then sometimes they will resort to asymmetric warfare which might mean that counter attacks are conducted in places that you do not expect with fallout hitting a lot of different innocent people. War is not something to be proud of, and what most persons should do regardless is to call for seize fire, we've seen the carnage that has been carried out in this few weeks within the Middle East. But the truth is that, is not every region of the World that is going to be affected, there are lots of people that this whole war situation is not going to affect them not even a bit. I think many countries will be impacted by the US-Iran war, one of which we can see is the economic and oil price factors. As you mentioned, several countries are already experiencing oil reserve crises which will impact daily life. While countries far from the conflicting countries may not be directly involved militarily, the impact can still be felt through the global economy, particularly oil prices, inflation, fiat exchange rates and domestic economic growth. Therefore, this war will impact every country not just the warring countries.

Furthermore, as we know a war between Iran and the US could disrupt global oil supplies particularly in the Strait of Hormuz, the main global export route, which is currently under Iranian control. Furthermore, this war will undoubtedly make financial markets more volatile and certain stocks could fluctuate due to global sentiment.

It's becoming clearer that they just wanted to deplete Iran's military capabilities. I guess they felt threatened that they were becoming too powerful and that would make them a bigger danger to Israel. The plan to attack Iran was already set before they began negotiating. Whatever was discussed in the meeting between Trump and Netanyahu before all these included how they would attack Iran. This is why even when they were negotiating, the US was mobilising and sending aircraft carriers to the Middle East and Israel.

The problem with this is they're just making history repeat itself. Things like this don't usually have the effect they expected. This is just a way of fueling the hate between regions. This is how more terrorist groups are born, but years later, when those terrorist groups start attacking innocent people, nobody will remember what happened today.
Now there are reports that the CIA is planning on arming Kurdish forces so they can spark an uprising in Iran. If they do it and it becomes successful, if these people get to a stage where they can no longer control them, it will lead to another series of strikes between them, and so the cycle continues.
This is similar to what is happening to Pakistan now. They supported the Taliban against the US for years; they armed and protected them. Now that the Taliban have taken over Afghanistan and have no Americans to fight, they have started fighting the same people who have been their allies for ages.

These quick fixes doesnt really solve anything in the long run. The US and Israel might subdue Iran for now, but what would happen 10, 20, or even 30 years from now may be worse, because they're creating new monsters.

Its not just about the price of transportation.  Oil is energy and almost everything depends on the price of energy.  If the cost to keep the lights on in a factory goes up, the price of the widget they are making goes up too.  Its a massive domino effect that hits your wallet in ways you wouldnt even expect. 

We live in such a hyper-connected global economy that a supply shock in the Middle East is basically a tax on everyone, everywhere.  Its pretty naive to think you are "safe" from a conflict just because you arent in the blast zone.

TBH, if you're into economics and you are aware of what's happening, and the possible effects of the war, you know that this will happen. The only people that will be saying this are those ignorant people that doesn't have any idea on how a war could affect other countries especially those developing countries.

This will have a domino effect around the world. Iran currently is targeting some oil refineries because they know that ALL of the countries are heavily dependent on oil still. Strait of Hormuz being shut down by Iran, refineries being shut down as well. It's only a matter of time until the effects of this war will affect all countries. The price of oil is going up already, and when the price of oil goes up, price of commodities, transportation, and even food goes up as well. Almost everything goes up, and it's inevitable.

Those who are having a hard time in their life right now because their income isn't enough for them will suffer even more unfortunately. I really do hope that all of us here have their own emergency funds that will help them when the price of daily needs increases. I wish I know where this person is from, the war on Iran is already affecting us in our country, the money for gas and petrol have gone up since the war started, it doesn't matter where you are from in the world, some damages will still be done, some changes will erupt and it will affect some far away countries, missile strikes doesn't have to hit for the war to affect developing countries, so yes this person is completely wrong. We are in a global village where any challenge that will distraught the smooth running of production and services will equally change the outcome of the hitherto existence or running of the system in another country especially when the affected country is a major dealer or producer of the product. No doubt about that, we have been having the effect of the Iran Israel fight especially in the area of oil and gas. It is a chain reaction because no country is an island of its, you need other countries to also stay afloat and survive. Every country which either imports oil from Iran or which its supply chains passed through the Strait of Hormuz would be affected firsthand because of the crisis weakening the passage of vessels through that route currently. Other countries who rely on the affected countries for products would see the price of finished goods escalated because of the increased cost of energy. It would lead to a spike global energy prices if it persists. This war is going to Have a global effect as time goes on if it is not properly handled.
