DAPA COIN — PRIVACY BLOCKDAG CRYPTOCURRENCY
Twisted ElGamal Homomorphic Encryption · BlockDAG Architecture · Built in Rust

WHAT IS DAPA?

DAPA is a live, running privacy cryptocurrency built on a blockDAG architecture with Twisted ElGamal homomorphic encryption. Your balances and transaction amounts are encrypted on-chain — the network validates transactions mathematically without ever seeing the actual values. Only you and your recipient know what was transferred.

The network is live. The wallets work. The block explorer is running. This is not a whitepaper project. its a DePIN project for the long term.

CORE TECHNOLOGY

Twisted ElGamal Homomorphic Encryption
All transaction amounts and account balances are encrypted using Twisted ElGamal over Curve25519 with Ristretto points (~128 bit security). The network can verify that inputs equal outputs without decrypting any values. Your financial data belongs to you — not to validators, not to miners, not to anyone else.

BlockDAG Architecture
DAPA uses a Directed Acyclic Graph structure instead of a linear chain. Multiple blocks can exist at the same height simultaneously — no wasted work, faster confirmations, higher throughput, and better security than traditional blockchains.

Built in Rust
The entire daemon is written in Rust — chosen for memory safety, security, and performance. Rust eliminates entire classes of vulnerabilities that plague C/C++ codebases.

Forked from good codebase
DAPA is forked from the XELIS codebase — one of the most technically credible privacy blockDAG projects in existence. We have built an independent network, wallets, an explorer, and a payment platform on top of that foundation.

ADDRESSING THE SCAM ACCUSATIONS — READ THIS

Some people have called DAPA a scam. We are going to answer that directly with facts — not anger.

Here is what scam projects look like:
  • No working software — just a website and promises
  • Anonymous team that vanishes when challenged
  • No block explorer — nothing to verify
  • Coins not delivered after payment
  • No regulated payment infrastructure

Here is what DAPA has:
  • Live running mainnet — verify at dapaexplorer.cc
  • Working wallets — webwallet.dapahe.com and Zodiac desktop wallet
  • Public block explorer — every transaction verifiable
  • Coins delivered on-chain within minutes of purchase
  • Regulated payment processing — PayPal, Stripe, Payoneer
  • Open source base —
  • DapaPay — a regulated payment platform. Anonymous scammers do not build a regulated payment infrastructure with their real identity attached to it.

Quote
A scam does not have a live block explorer, working wallets, a running network, and a regulated payment platform. It has a slick website and excuses. We have all of the above — go and verify it yourself right now.

We welcome every hard question. Post it in this thread and we will answer it.

DAPA is an early stage cryptocurrency project. Only invest what you can afford to lose. This is not financial advice.

We apologise to all who bought coins, and the server didnt send this has been sorted now. Everyone who opened an account will now have their coins and bonus. For those interested, technically this is what happened.

As per normal with anything updated, something always decides not to do what its supposed to do, and that's what happened with coin returns. All coin orders have now been filled  server code is sorted will be back online today.

The Core Problem
dapa uses homomorphic ElGamal encryption for wallet balances.
Every transaction proof is built against a specific ciphertext — the encrypted representation of your balance at a point in time.

What Was Actually Broken
— wrong ciphertext selection:   let output = stable_point.topoheight > stable_topoheight;

For Admindistro, stable_point.topoheight (256785) was always less than stable_topoheight (~454000), so output was always false.
This made the wallet build every transaction proof against the input ciphertext (balance state BEFORE the last TX) instead of the output ciphertext (balance state AFTER).

The daemon verified the proof against on-chain state which held the output ciphertext — mismatch every time → Invalid transaction proof: proof verification failed.

The Fix
rustlet output = true; // always use output ciphertext
One boolean. That was it.

Every other problem — the anchor TX, the rescans, the nonce chaos, server 124 DB corruption, the 12 hours of script attempts — was downstream noise from this single wrong value.

Why It Was So Hard To Find
The error message Invalid transaction proof appeared at the daemon level during block execution, not at the wallet level during proof generation.
The proof passed mempool admission (fast check) but failed full ZK verification at block execution.
So it looked like a network/sync/nonce problem when it was purely a cryptographic state selection bug in the wallet.

everything sorted and working now.
