even the OGs are victims to some of these mistakes and some do it ignorantly while others do it purposely.
you have really done very well with our writings and trust me people will definitely still do what pleases and suites them regardless if it's the right thing or not provided it's the solution to their quest.
and a little address to the first point you made, from my point of view, it is not wrong to buy bitcoin if you have the money no matter the level of your knowledge because i believe that, for you to be able to buy successfully, it simply means that you already have the preliminary knowledge of the coin but where it becomes bad is panic selling because of a dip in price

I believe the OG's you're talking about do those things on purpose and not ignorance cause mistakes the OP listed are what an OG should know already cause those are what they're come across when knowing the basics, for instance some OG's know that Bitcoin is best held for long-term but would still sell at lose.
I support your point of view in the second paragraph, before a beginner would buy Bitcoin that means the person already have a little knowledge concerning knowing the right place to buy and how to purchase it, from there he can learn how to secure it and hold for long-term, I remember JayJuanGee once stated that one mustn't wait to learn everything before they buy Bitcoin.

That is why it's good to have little knowledge first , because as a beginner you shouldn't wait to gain all knowledge, learning never ends , we keep learning every day , I believe with that little understanding some common mistake will be avoided, no point of being in a hurry ,since it's a long term investment, and some of this beginner that panic and sell ,have not really understand very well how the market works.

Not too long ago, I was reading a statement from a newbie saying beginners should rush into bitcoin. I was like huh..that same newbie will come out complaining when they start experience problems with their investment. Beginner investors should stop making the mistake of taking advice from their fellow beginners, imagine a bling man leading a blind man. IMO, beginners need to listen to those who have experience cycles in bitcoin investment carefully. Practice the good part of what they say and neglect the bad part.

You no dey wrong sha. Nobody knows it all, but speaking of di basics things wey newbies suppose know before dem invest in bitcoin, for me nah di volatility and security. E good make dem know about di volatility so that when di price begin dey go upadan, dem no go panic to sell their bitcoin. Also, knowing about wallet security dey very important, so that dem go know how to better protect their assets. If dem fit sabi dis two first, e don dey okay to start their bitcoin journey.

Most people fails to study and understand  the business they want to invest in.they don't even bother to know the traits and the dangers associated in the business they want to venture into.

Just because they heard that a particular business pays, most investors will just rush in and that'swhy they keep making mistakes.

So to avoid all these common mistakes,an investor needs to take time to study and understand the kind of business they want to invest in.

Many of them wey come to the space new actually come because of the good tori wen Dem hear say crypto or investment for any coin dey give them profit because some of them no even dey get clue on the particular coin wey Dem go invest on also when Dem reach buy Dem dey fail to make research on the coin before Dem dey jump into conclusions on their actions.

understand your point, still I don't think experience alone survive the issue. We have a lot of people who have been investing or buying Bitcoin for years but still makes poor decisions. The real issue is the type of mentality these people carry when they enter the market. Rushing into Bitcoin is as result of fear of missing out, not only lack of guidance. Even with proper guidance many people still fails due to their inability to control their emotions. Important thing is to understand the risk and stay calm during market moves. Without that both beginners and someone who is experienced will keep making mistakes.

You really think all this things you said is common? For me I think they are expensive because if you invest without getting a proper understanding of the investment you're about to go into there's every possiblity of Lossing all that you have invested and there's no way you would recover it, so this makes it to be expensive. So newbies need to get the basic knowledge about bitcoin investment before investment should be make so that to avoid unnecessary mistake and also knowing fully well that bitcoin is decentralized which means that no one has control over it so if you loss your investment there's no center you will go to make complaint just like that of our local bank that we quickly rush to the bank to make complaint whenever there's a scam case but bitcoin doesn't work that way that is why we need to be more careful.

Learn ing is continuous and people cannot learn about Bitcoin once, they need time to learn about it and because of that, people don't have to be waiting to get all necessary knowledge before ongoingly buying bitcoin.

The thing that is required is basic knowledge of bitcoin and discretionary income to begin and you can learn the remain along way.
