Palmeiras managed to finish second in the group after beating Atl. Junior 4–1 at home. Palmeiras absolutely had to win this match because, had Sporting Cristal beaten Cerro Porteno and Palmeiras lost, they would have had no chance of progressing from the group.
Cerro Porteno and Palmeiras managed to finish as the top two teams in Group F.

They were in the same position before because there is a lot of points difference between them and the lower team, so there is no significant change in their position but their points have increased. They played a lot great in this game and kept scoring goals after a minute, so the game ended with 4 goals and they won. They are at the top, so these two will advance and now one team will be successful compared to these two, for this they will have to play great. If we look at their performed in the same group, CCP is great because they have more numbers in all the games.

Palmeiras won 4-1 from Barranquilla  in the Conmebol Libertadores . Arias scored an early goal for Palmeiras and  Barranquilla equalized in the 36th minute by Muriel but after 3 minutes Allan scored the second goal for Barranquilla. And the first half ended at 3-1 Arias scored another in the last minute of the first half 45'. In the second half Pereria scored the 4th in the 51st minute . Both teams kept the possession equally 49 to Palmeiras and 51 to Barranquilla. 17 shots from each side but Palmeiras created 6 big chances out of which 3 were converted to goal. Palmeiras won by a narrow margin against Chapecoense . Only a single goal was scored in the entire game in the 65th minute by Paulinho for Palmeiras. In the first half Palmerias dominated by 58 percent possession  but only a single chance created  and total of 9 shots. In the second half Chapecoense fought back and got 60 percent possession , 1.08xG, 11 shots  and only  a single chance created and missed . Palmerias survived  Chapecoense and got 3 points and now they are 7 points lead on top of the table . Bruno Fuchs is named as player of the match for Palmerias for his defense contribution.

It has made their place even more secure for them if no one is going to challenge them then I think it is great for them because they need to win this season and whatever they want so as they are winning their place is getting secure and they can move forward with ease. It was not a big win but a win is a win that is why they have been rewarded with 3 numbers which are 13 digits ahead of the other team. Their situation shows that they have all put in a lot of effort but they have only scored 1 goal in the whole game so it will be a great honour for them to win. Anyway Chapecoense are a very last team so their doing so much does not prove anything.

It was a very strange round. There were 7 games and 7 draws. This made the second leg games all undecided. Whoever wins in the second leg qualifies. Speaking of second leg games, I'm keeping an eye on the following games:

Independiente Rivadavia - Fluminense

The first leg ended in a draw, but this second leg will be at Independiente's home ground. Looking at Independiente's home performance, I see that they are on a 3-game unbeaten streak against Fluminense, who are on a 3-game unbeaten streak away from home. I decided to bet on Independiente Rivadavia or Draw with odds of @1.39

Well, I just found out there's a thread about the Copa Libertadores.  Anyway, for BFSL reasons, these were my picks for this week's games:
My analysis:
Palmeiras: I had my doubts since they're playing in Paraguay, a tough venue, but I decided on a win. Then there was the Coquimbo vs. Platense match. For over 2.5, I went with no; I think it will be a close game, 1-0, 1-1, or even 0-0. Then we have Flamengo; I didn't hesitate and picked them to win. Then I had the option of BTTS LDU vs. Mirassol, I had my doubts here... the altitude always disadvantages Brazilian teams. And the most interesting match, in my opinion, is Corinthians vs. Rosario Central. I think the Brazilian team will win... although the odds here favor the Brazilian team, it's not a bad idea to bet on the Argentinian team. In fact, a draw in regulation time isn't bad either... but we'll see how my projections turn out.

Palmeiras seems like the favourite in this game because by their head to head record in their last five meetings, palmeiras has won twice, while cerro porteno has won just once, and they drew twice, so it's a slim dominance that palmeiras has over this cerro porteno side, but what's makes this game even more intriguing and unpredictable is that fact that palmeiras will be playing away from home which will give them enough confidence to play without fear, so it's an open game that can be won by any of these teams.

As for Independiente Rivadavia - Fluminense game, it has already been decided because they played in the early morning of today, and it ended in the favour of fluminense.
They drew 1-1 in regular time, and eventually won on penalties, so they are through to the next round of the competition.

Really no one is interested in Copa Libertadores? It's like champions League but with some funny rules. For examples the qualifications in various state league and the historical match like argentinian teams versus brasilian teams, or flamengo vs timao, or boca versus river.

 Libertadores Cup is like the Champions League, though in terms of quality, some matches are on par with the European Conference League. While there are certainly great games, overall, it never quite matches the quality of the Champions League.
I might watch some matches if there weren't a time difference with Europe, but the time difference is a major issue.
Generally, teams from either Brazil or Argentina end up winning the title. I used to bet heavily on matches in this tournament; I mostly wagered on home team victories.

My most important piece of advice for anyone betting on this league is that teams from Ecuador and Bolivia usually win when playing at home. Due to the high altitude, the performance of visiting teams from other countries tends to drop in the later stages of the match as fatigue sets in.

That’s actually a good point of debate, we always end up talking about the altitude in Bolivia and Ecuador in threads about South America
It’s certainly a factor to take into serious consideration if you’re betting
In theory, it seems easy for some of the stronger clubs to beat certain Bolivian teams, but altitude has a major impact on the game

How is it possible to win when they're playing too many draw with few goals? I doubt if there are people who are actually winning except those who will play single bets on draw options or those who bet BTTS.

For those who prefer betting over 2.5 goals and above it will not be possible to get a winning. In the 1/8 final, it's only Estudiantes La Plata that scored up to 3 goals in their second leg against Universidad Católica. When matches don't produce many goals it becomes so boring and many gamblers can even stop betting on those tournaments as a result of many losses they do experience.

The best way to win in gambling is by not taking high risks through making so much accumulated bets or playing options that has a very high odd. I don't know how much you staked the bet but let's assume you used $10 it means that with 1.67 total odd you will make a gain of $6.7 which is not bad at all because you will have a staking power to continue with other bets you have in mind. Considering that the first game between Independiente Rivadavia - Fluminense has ended in a 1:1 draw, it is very likely that you will win the bet because Palmeiras cannot accept a defeat from Cerro Porteño, the reason why they didn't win in the first leg was obviously as a result of the red card but this second leg won't be the same because if Palmeiras don't win, they can get a draw and since you played a double chance of away win or draw even makes it very possible.

Seems like your parlay is going rather nicely as expected, Fluminence drew earlier only escaping through the penalties shoot out, the way Fluminence has been performing is not encouraging, all the while, Palmeiras game is going to start in some few hours, personally I feel this your bet might end up winning as Palmeiras are heavily favoured to win the match.

Flamengo vs. Cruzeiro is currently under total Flamengo control at the legendary Maracanã, with halftime in Flamengo's favor. I don't think the situation will improve for Cruzeiro, but it's South American football and anything can happen. For now, I'm sticking with my bet.

Flamengo did really well, and as a fan, I'm super happy with the recent results. They have their fate in their own hands in the Brazilian league since they have a game in hand, and in the Libertadores, they beat Cruzeiro, one of the title favorites. I just hope it doesn't end up like in previous years, when the team started letting everyone down in the home stretch of the tournaments.

The Brazilian league really does feel completely random at times. A team can be on a great run and fighting for top spot, only to suddenly lose to a terrible mid-table side. Sometimes I even suspect there might be some kind of scheme involved, because the teams show total apathy in one match and then in the next they play like it's a World Cup final. That makes betting on the Brasileirão completely unpredictable.

Well, yesterday I was following the LDU and Mirassol game and they tied again, I really didn't expect it. LDU ended up winning in the penalty shootout, but at least I managed to salvage something from that bet since I had LDU winning in regulation time. Many people including myself expected that LDU would win in regular time. That's clear, as bookies favored them to win with pre-match odds of around @1,50. However, reality presents something different from what we all expected. This time, LDU faces a more serious challenge, as they're up against Palmeiras, a stronger opponent than Mirassol. A quick note for bettors, the two teams have met 4 times & 3 of those matches saw over 2,5 goals scored.
