I need a fast answer to this because it is urgent for me to give information about this somewhere else. I asked AI it gives me this answer which I am not satisfied with:

Quote
No, TradFi (Traditional Finance) markets on crypto exchanges generally do not close like traditional stock markets. While the NYSE or Nasdaq have strict hours (e.g., 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM EST, Monday–Friday), crypto exchanges use blockchain infrastructure to offer nearly continuous trading.

I am not talking about tokenized commodities or stocks or fiat but TradiFi on crypto exchanges. Do their market close every day for one hour and during weekends like how it is in the traditional market?

If I am not satisfied with the answer or confused about it, I will need to wait until the closing time today which is still more than 12 hours away.

I think it depends on the exchange

Binance and phemex claim that users will have a 24/7 exposure, unlike traditional markets, while Bitget get says that they follow what the traditional markets do

So you might want to observe what happens in your favorite exchange

As long as it is TradeFi on the crypto exchanges, the market will not close regardless of the exchange. I have seen on many exchanges that the market for TradeFi is not closing.

Another thing that I have noticed on exchanges is that there is no single market that is closing, they are all traded all days all weeks throughout the year.

TradeFi on crypto exchange market don't close like forex or NYSE like OP already stated,  but am sure a break could happen if there's maintenance to be carried out but there would be notifications for this.
Otherwise, only the CME Bitcoin futures have an hour break and weekend closures because it is a traditional regulated exchange.
It is also known by traders as the CME gap.

I hope the below link is helpful in some way to you in getting the answers you need:

Well then check out some forex trading pairs on Bitget even right now, they are closed like this one.

Maybe certain CFDs such as gold stay open throughout, but to me it's a bit tricky if the traditional forex markets are closed while the CFDs of crypto exchanges stay open. How do they fight price manipulation then without tracking the underlying price of the asset?

I guess that's where the speculation comes in. Though I'm not sure if exchanges explicitly state how they track the price index if the traditional market is closed. I remember some exchanges stating that their product is just a speculative asset with no relation to the real asset, though it's probably outdated (talking about some exchanges that offer Bitcoin pairs but no withdrawal, etc).

At the end of the day, we need to read the specific terms we trade those pairs.

It's more likely tokenised assets, I believe there are already crypto exchanges that offer this, I remember FTX Exchange before, they had this feature.
Another thing is, I'm curious if this is like normal to crypto exchanges, it's tokenised, like for example about being some regulations of these stocks are we all know, stocks are very strict.

Since this was posted on March 6, is there an update? Because the OP's first post seems very urgent, but it's like there's no update.

Initially, what I thought about it is "TradFi," meaning traditional finance, not "TradeFi" like in the title. I'm pretty curious about this in the market, if it's still connected to the central market, and if it will still work on weekends where tradfi are closed. The spreads would be different, so I'm not sure if it will be connected as well in the market. Wouldn't it be prone to manipulation?

The crypto market is always timelessly and unregulated of the markets timing schedules because, it is not a fully traditional operating values. This market activity closure in the traditional system in the digital marketing seems to be effective in the forex trade and that is because all of the traded values and operations there is obviously overemphasized to have time schedules.
And for so long I have been using the crypto exchange, I have not experienced market closure but traders always have their privileges.

I just checked on Bybit exchange under the tradeFi market, they are all closed and today is Sunday, which means, tradeFi on Bybit exchange follows the traditional market rules on to close on weekends.

I don't know on other centralized exchange but Bybit closes trading during the weekend.

What exchange are you using for tradeFi?

I have seen it on Bybit, you are right. The only thing the exchange did not get right is that the candles are still moving, but the market closed as I was unable to see the buy and sell which will be available later when the market opens in 16 hours time to this time. In the traditional market, it is not like that and what that confused me.
