Yes, gambling can't be a source of income but it's also wrong to say that there aren't professional gamblers because there're some gamblers who make enough money from gambling and for them it's a good secondary source of income. I'm talking about professional poker players and about experienced sports bettors.

They are quite good at gambling that we can call them professional gamblers because they lose very less and make quite enough from gambling. We know there is no guarantee to win certain amount of money in gambling even if we are quite experienced. I assume even professional gamblers have no idea about making certain amount of money in a certain time period. So, gambling isn't suitable for the main source of income.
