They announced the delisting of KINT, apparently due to low trading volume and the fact that it was an shitty token that needed to be removed. If the amount wasn't enough to meet the minimum withdrawal, you wouldn't even be able to withdraw the tokens and would simply be forced to sell them manually at a low price.

Did you even check your portfolio daily while holding it? Do you have an alternative market to sell them at a good price today?

Kraken exchange is the only CEX which I trust, and they have earned it for many years in businesses before I started. OP, you don't ever want to buy a large amount of low volume, half-dead crypto and leave it on an exchange. Period.

It is a custodial platform, so they control they keys and they'll definitely disagree with you on this. I don't use Kraken and i sure don't know anything about KINT token, but i am pretty sure it is a shit token, so i am surprised you spent €5k on that.

That said, if you are sure you didn't receive an email that they were going to delist this token, then that's wrong on their part, because they have to notify their customers about this. Or maybe you missed it, or you just bought the token and forgot about it on the exchange, i reckon it is the latter.

Often exchanges send mail or send push notifications regarding delisting a coin. Are you sure you haven't received mail or haven't received a deslit notification from their apps? Can you please add the screenshot of the notification section so we may see whether they sent a notification or not? For the exchange, this amount isn't big enough to scam you. Because if you buy a coin from the exchange and it becomes zero for some reason, then the exchange is not responsible for refunding you.

Also, you should find their liquidation policy after delisting a coin. Each exchange would have a different policy about a delisted coin. I am curious to know, have you been using that exchange regularly? That's the reason we always discourage storing our funds in an exchange. If it was on your non-custodial wallet, then you shouldn't face such issues. However, only their support could help you, but most likely this case is not going to be solved easily.

Any coin listed on a CEX platform is not a strong indicator that it will remain listed. Any coin that violates the listing criteria over time may delisted. This is because the coin may be highly volatile or could have been manipulated by its team or similar parties, and such measures are taken by the platform to protect other investors.

In any case, if you do not receive an email notification, they can check the platform’s updates or app notifications to see what actions will be taken regarding the coin. If the user does not notice, the coin may be delisted, though they might still be able to withdraw it in time before withdrawals are stopped

However, it is everyone's responsibility to conduct their own research before investing in a coin.

People have always been told not to keep coins in an exchange, especially long-term, but some don't listen. This is one of the reasons why. Always move the funds to noncustodial wallets
Exchanges usually make announcements when they are going to delist a coin. If you miss the announcement, that's your fault. How do you ignore developments happening on a coin you bought? That is negligence on your part.

I am sorry OP. As said, they've given notice of delisting and every time an exchange does that, if we've kept some funds on them. We are the ones who should be responsible for it. I'm not sure if they have told you that you've been liquidated. If you've placed it into the futures then that's the result of it. But if you are so sure that you have never put that into the leverage then the balance must be there. And since you're saying that there's no more the balance and you've been liquidated, do you remember leaving it in the open trade in the futures trading?

Theres one thing on the cex once their listed any coins or tokens. Not only kraken did some of delisting but even Binance too and other ce which primarily due to low volumes on trading. Prior to listing there must be some NDA about this which is not new to all of users and thr projects. Maybe that one got below the threshold of their agreement and the cex decided to list them. But Im sure like others said that there will be notification or given time for users to settle their port holding those coins.

If none, maybe thats the time you could complain as they should be required to do that so users will be aware but if they did its on you. Sorry for loss OP!
