Someone who is earning enough to pay for his bills is not a failure, nor is he wasting his time; it shows there is some level of hard work in his life, and since he has the knowledge about Bitcoin but doesn't have the money yet to invest in it, doing the idea-sharing stuff with those who truly desire to learn is also not a waste.

He should just focus on expanding his business for the time being, and when it grows to a level where he can pull out some profit from it and invest in Bitcoin, he will do it. As someone who claims to have learned about Bitcoin, he should be able to know that there is never a late time to invest; whenever he's financially ready, he can join the train.

There is no obligation to invest just because you have knowledge of Bitcoin. Especially when you do not have the financial capacity to invest, then gaining knowledge about Bitcoin is not a waste of time at all. You can also earn Bitcoin by using that knowledge, especially when there is this forum and by exchanging knowledge in the forum, you can earn Bitcoin by earning the qualification of signature campaigns. Even with deep knowledge about Bitcoin, you can earn Bitcoin by freelancing or creating content.

Gaining knowledge about Bitcoin is not a waste of time just because you do not have money to invest, you can gain knowledge and later when you have prudent money to invest, you can invest. I would say, not gaining knowledge about Bitcoin despite having the opportunity is a waste of time, even if you do not have money.

Knowledge is never a waste, at times we might not find the positive way of using it but time will always come when we of course see a good value of it. When one have knowledge of bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general and don’t have the capital or funds to invest in it then that not the issue or the knowledge isn’t a waste at all and such individual will always find a solution if they keep chasing throw a way to sort out the funds to invest.
 Sharing of the knowledge with individuals that have total interest and total desire of cryptocurrency will be a very good idea and at least he or she spread out knowledge and he or she can even try to charge people for giving out the knowledge he has and In such manner he will make progress and have the sufficient amount to invest.  We can make money with our knowledge and of course they are a lot who don’t know more about cryptocurrency and when we give them the opportunity to come learn then they will want to pay the possible price for it.

I think that if someone wants to share their knowledge about Bitcoin, they should at least ever buy/use Bitcoin in their life. Even though to be a part of Bitcoin it is not necessary to be just an investor, but how can they say this and that about Bitcoin, but never buy or hold it in their wallet? They should at least have some experience handling it, so that what they're saying isn't just empty talk, but is based on their knowledge and experience.

I believe, having knowledge about Bitcoin and becoming a Bitcoin investor are two different things. While the two things are very necessary, you can have knowledge of Bitcoin possibly (Blockchain) and benefit from it, but it is difficult to become a successful Bitcoin investor without having the knowledge of bitcoin and how it works. Someone with good knowledge of Bitcoin and Blockchain technology can be hired and get paid for selling his knowledge to other people, and more also investing in bitcoin for someone who has knowledge of bitcoin is also an added advantage. Thesame way it is advantageous for a Bitcoin investor to gain knowledge of Bitcoin before investing. There are people who study bitcoin and Blockchain technology, not necessarily because they want to become investors but for career and technological advancement.

That is pure waste of time if truly you have such people in your environment, because such people need help from those that enjoy profit from  investing in BTC. I don't know what will make some people to learn to have knowledge of BTC and they cannot use it to gain something big from BTC, because there are some risk you can take by investing what you can afford to lose in BTC and it will turn you to a millionaires in the future.

I  don't have such friends or relative around me that will have knowledge of BTC investment and he or she will not invest in BTC, because I don't think such person will find help to where I am. If people can make wealth from BTC through investing in BTC, you can also make it from BTC too if you can take a good step to invest in BTC.

Sharing the knowledge about bitcoin will have an impact on bitcoin adoption, but as an individual that believes in sharing knowledge like this base on experience, it will be considered a failure myself if I can only talk  about bitcoin but have no actual ownership of bitcoin; not even the smallest portion. This is like teaching people how to invest in fiat but cannot boast of a single investment in fiat or at least a little fiat savings. I should be using myself as a practical example to those I teach.

In my opinion yes, having knowledge about Bitcoin is an achievement even without the ability to invest in it. I consider simply having Bitcoin knowledge an accomplishment in itself because someone who knows about Bitcoin but can't invest in it is better than someone who invests without sufficient knowledge.

Having Bitcoin knowledge can open many doors and job opportunities related to Bitcoin, allowing you to generate income and invest in Bitcoin using your knowledge and skills.

One advantage of having knowledge about Bitcoin even though you don't invest in it is that you can still make profit one way or another. There are platforms where you can contribute to Bitcoin discussions like the forum. Here on bitcointalk you can make valuable contributions about what you know on Bitcoin discussions and this can help you grow your account. Knowledge is never wasted, even if you feel like you are not going to invest in It you might get motivated to start investing at some point. Having knowledge about Bitcoin is an achievement.

Absolutely  being part of the Bitcoin movement isn't just about investing funds: as your friend learns more about it, he'll gain more than just knowledge  his new knowledge will provide him with potentially useful and perhaps powerful information. By being educated about Bitcoin, he may have more opportunities available to him, such as having access to educational opportunities, sharing knowledge, getting involved in the community, or creating new businesses in the future. Actually, it's very unfortunate when you have a thorough knowledge of Bitcoin but don't have it. I think you need to persuade him to try to contribute here to prove his knowledge.

Of course not but on average, those who understand bitcoin will definitely be involved in it including investing.
We know that the opportunity is right in front of us, and surely in this case anything will be done so that in the end I don't believe that someone who knows about bitcoin would not be able to invest because they will definitely try even with the little money they have.

Teaching or spreading the word about Bitcoin is another matter for me as it is also a very good thing to do, and we are still part of that even today.
Whether to invest or not is up to each individual so it comes back to oneself but I still feel that once we have taken the plunge and have the intention to invest we will try to find and earn money even if it is small that we can invest it in Bitcoin.

Nope, at all. Every knowledge won't translate into money. If it were so, those who teach financial courses would be the richest in the world.

A friend is running a business and all he can do is pay bills and eat, he is not in power to do more than this, but having the knowledge about bitcoin is making him to question if he have wasted his time learning about Bitcoin.

If he's running a business that means he can afford to invest in Bitcoin. So, it's not about lack of funds. I think your friend is simply scared of investing in Bitcoin despite having the knowledge of how it works.

No knowledge is waste in life regardless if you are presently using it to earned or not, what matters is that you have already knows it and it will surely be useful to you some day. However, knowledge they said is power and it's more in an advantage when it concerned having the knowledge of Bitcoin investment especially in this our present generation that tech is taking over.

Even if you don't have the required funds to start up your own investment you can literally start teaching people (investors) by face to face conversation or online teaching, investors that have the fund's to start but don't have the required knowledge to kick off the journey therefore by this means it can be profitable to you by earning you some cool cash.

It is very unlikely that people who have knowledge about Bitcoin have never owned Bitcoin, they will try to become investors or holder even with a very small amount, because one way to have knowledge about Bitcoin is to have it because by having Bitcoin you will know how to store it correctly and safely.

Bitcoin is not only about buying and making gains. It is also about freedom from the control of government. If your friend is helping to spread the news about the benefit of using Bitcoin, I think he is part of the Bitcoin ecosystem. He might not have the money to buy but he has used his knowledge to encourage someone to invest.  Those who engage in Bitcoin awareness are important to the Bitcoin community.  But your friends don't need to have so much to invest. He could save a few dollars and buy a little.

I have seen some people say that it's ok to teach others about Bitcoin and not own any, at least through you people will get to hear about Bitcoin, but from my perspective it doesn't make sense whereby you are teaching what you don't practice, only a fool would follow your teaching knowing fully well that you don't practice what you teach.

I know there are a lot of ways people can contribute to Bitcoin adoption, however, how would you tell people to adopt what you haven't adopted yourself? are you not suppose to live by example? Teaching what you don't practice can make people suspicious, some may even start seeing Bitcoin as a scam or a ponzi scheme, Imo the best way to encourage people to adopt Bitcoin is practicing what you teach, not the opposite.

No, you do not need to invest cash into Bitcoin. You could start your own mining operation if you have the hardware. Basically money our of thin air.

Another thing you are undervaluing is the knowledge itself. This is a huge mistake. Knowledge in crypto is very valuable. Especially because Bitcoin as well as cryptocurrency is still a very early thing. This is nowhere near the full potential that we will see 10-20 years from now. A lot of people would pay you, even in Bitcoin, to get access to your knowledge about Bitcoin.

Not everyone has acquired reliable knowledge about bitcoin, some would even see it as quite complex and learning is difficult. So I would see it as an achievement already, especially if you also develop skills and strategies towards investing in bitcoin less risky and less stressful.

There is no waste of time as much as learning is concern, however it may be a waste of time if you never apply it or share it to some persons who you think they needed badly the most.

Its okay if you aren't an investor yet, as long as you have future plans for it. For now, its good to focus on acquiring knowledge first and learned from the early investors experiences so that when you're already into it, investing may not be that hard and risky then.
