Is it an achievement to have knowledge about Bitcoin but not be able to invest in Bitcoin?

If teaching and spreading news about Bitcoin is all you can do, would you considered yourself a total failure?

A friend is running a business and all he can do is pay bills and eat, he is not in power to do more than this, but having the knowledge about bitcoin is making him to question if he have wasted his time learning about Bitcoin.

Is the only way to be part of this movement is by becoming an investor?

Even if a person gains knowledge about Bitcoin and does not invest, he has still gained one thing. Knowledge is the power to convince himself that many people fail to gain this knowledge, but there are many people who do not invest in Bitcoin but they gain knowledge about Bitcoin and give good advice to others.

If someone who has learned about Bitcoin and later gives good knowledge about Bitcoin to others, then he is not a failure, but he is playing an important role. Basically, there are some people who gain knowledge and give others the opportunity to learn, and there are some who gain knowledge on their own for investment. If I gain enough knowledge about Bitcoin and later do not invest, then of course I am not a failure there, but I have experience but I do not have the desire, so I am not a failure here.

But we want to make one thing clear that investing is not so important to be part of this movement but gaining experience is the most important thing. Basically investing in Bitcoin eco systems is not the main purpose but some will invest some will give knowledge and there are some people who participate in the technology. There are many people who have done it before and gained knowledge about Bitcoin and they have continuously given that knowledge to others, and later they have also invested which makes it clear that investment is not only part of the movement but there are many other things that play a role.

I get that, it is frustratingrating but calling it failure is completely the wrong way to look at it. Not everyone who understands medicine can become a doctor, and not everyone who understands bitcoin needs to be an investor. They are a part of community and playing an important role even if they are not investing but at least sharing the word, spreading the awareness.

He might not be able to invest due to financial constraints right, but he is also running a business so I don't get it completely how come he failed to manage some funds for investing. I think being early to the knowledge is still being early, saying it nothing is wrong.

There are people struggling in my country, they have jobs but the money goes to rent and food, it is really this bad in my country, so yes it's very possible to work and still unable to DCA into Bitcoin.

If you can spare a dollar though, where will this get you every month? Some people are in very tight position that investment becomes so impossible for them.

As for business owners, some still falls under this same situation, I can remember closing my business in the evening and have to walk home because I don't make any sales, even sometimes in the morning I have to walk to my store because of bad sales.

It's not all good for some people in this world, many are so tired that surviving becomes the only thing that they can do for themselves.

That’s depends on you whether you want to invest or not. Having knowledge about Bitcoin without investing does not mean you are failure. Some people have the knowledge but they do not have the money to invest, I’m sure that if they have the money, they will like to invest. Nobody should feel bad about themselves only because they don’t have the money to invest, even if they have the knowledge. Having the knowledge isn’t bad thing, if you finally have the money to invest, you won’t bother learning from the beginning.

One thing you need to understand is that, having the knowledge isn’t bad, is also part of the achievement, it’s not everyone that understand it have what it takes to invest. Your friend is not wasting his time learning about Bitcoin, he is preparing himself for any opportunity that comes, if he have the money to invest. He doesn’t have to pressure himself investing with the money for paying bills and feeding.

If having a thorough knowledge about something feels more like an achievement, then i think it should be same in this instance.
It's just like asking... if getting a degree in a particular field, and not getting a job with it, is also an achievement. Well, the process of getting the degree is not always easy which makes it an achievement, but in a case where there is a need to utilize that degree for good opportunities, then an extra step has to be taken. Same thing with this... if there is a need to invest in Bitcoin even after having the knowledge, then extra steps needs to be taken.

No it isn't, in fact,  i have always admire other things aside investment, but of course, we can't overlook the importance of money.

There's this famous saying that "Knowledge is Power", therefore you are not a failure. You can integrate bitcoin or cryptocurrency in other ways than investing on bitcoin. Just always save for yourself and not put all your money into bitcoin and if you literally have knowledge on bitcoin, you will know how to make bitcoin useful to you.

Investors can help increase the price of Bitcoin, but they aren't the only ones who contribute to Bitcoin, there are many others who also contribute, including miners, developers, and even those who tirelessly educate others about Bitcoin, they all contribute to Bitcoin, and whatever they do can have a positive impact on Bitcoin, so, it's not just about being an investor to be considered a contributor, you can contribute in other ways.

I think the knowledge here is more about being patient and it will be worth it if we believe and be consistent. If it's all about value then from now on make an incoming assessment to continue accumulating. The results will be visible in time. BTC is the answer to a powerful investment vehicle and nothing is instant in this world, especially if you want to make a profit.

i don't know why you have to feel this way which isn't a good one and despite not having the money to invest doesn't and shouldn't make you a failure in any way and you just have to take things pretty easy with yourself as teaching  about it is already enough  contribution to the system but you should also try as much as possible to try to hold and you should not have to wait until  you have so much money before you can buy as you can buy small amount consistently and before you know it u are already having much than you can imagine and now is the best time for you to start buying regardless of the amount you have

Teaching others about Bitcoin is already a big contribution to Bitcoin since you will bring more people to use Bitcoin and adopt its technology/usage.

There’s a lot of different contribution on Bitcoin not only through investing on it.  A simple encouragement or support to Bitcoin that will engage to non Bitcoin holder is already valuable use of your time.

It’s just hard to believe someone preaching and doesn’t follow what he is teaching. It’s like you already have a genie that can give you wealth but you don’t use it.

You are right, teaching others about bitcoin is also a big contribution to bitcoin because that means you are showing them a way to manage their wealth in the future, although it will be somehow to some people to see that you did not have bitcoin and you are teaching them how to invest in bitcoin but anyone with good intentions will not think about that because they don’t know the reason why you don’t have bitcoin, you won’t even tell someone that you have bitcoin or not when teaching them about it.

For me, having a knowledge about bitcoin is very important, it is not until you wanted to invest in bitcoin that you will want to learn about it, we don’t know what will happen tomorrow, an opportunity might come that we can find ourselves in a situation that we can invest in bitcoin and we will not have go and learn again before we invest, there are many reasons why we should have knowledge about bitcoin even if we don’t invest.

If you have a good knowledge about Bitcoin and you don't have the money to invest, that shouldn't be a problem if you can look for a means to the sh people about Bitcoin and ask for a token like donation which you can use to invest in Bitcoin.
There are people that will be willing to pay you for you to teach them about Bitcoin. Your knowledge is not a waste and you can use it to raise money that can be sufficient for you to invest in Bitcoin. Having adequate knowledge on Bitcoin and having the money to invest is a bonus.

People are earning here just by sharing information about Bitcoin, crypto and other related topics. No true Bitcoin enthusiast will consider himself a failure for not being able to invest. It's not all good for some people in this world, many are so tired that surviving becomes the only thing that they can do for themselves.

I understand the situation, brother. I have been in the same situation for too long, but all I wanted to do was motivate but maybe it was not enough. I know reality hits harder when you are just surviving hand to mouth. I have been there and sometimes I remember those times. Well, I would still say it does not matter when, but those who put in their effort and mind, they eventually make money. Once they make extra money, they can invest in crypto too.

Because even if you start to make $200k a year, you might think you are in a good state now but people could lose $200k a year job too, what remains after? Nothing if they have not invested or saved anything, but those who are not able to make enough to survive, I am not saying investing is not for them, they are the ones should invest as much as they could to change their lives but if they can't take risk on losing those funds because of the hardships, then they must focus on themselves for now and invest later.

I agree with this.
We are always required to make the situation profitable and that is our natural instinct as human beings so when we say we have even more knowledge than other people about bitcoin but we don't have anything to invest then it will just be a nonsense to me.
The analogy is the same as we already know the place where there is a buried treasure but we don't have a shovel to take it then we will certainly find a way so that we can dig even though it's not easy and so on bitcoin.  We already know this is one of the things that is very good for us to consider investing in but we are struggling with financial conditions (for now) will it just make us silent without any desire to change the situation? I don't think so as long as we know and are convinced of bitcoin then as much as possible we will try to get it regardless of how.

Knowing about Bitcoin and not investing in Bitcoin is definitely a failure because those who know about Bitcoin also know how profitable it is to invest in Bitcoin. However, one thing is that we always prefer to get something instant but Bitcoin can never give big profits instantly. Investing in Bitcoin requires holding it for a long time and that is why most people know about Bitcoin but do not invest because they cannot think long term and have the mindset to hold it till that time. And those who face such issues are definitely failures. For example, I myself have known about Bitcoin for a long time but when the price of Bitcoin was very low, I could not hold it even though I invested. This is also my failure but not waste of the time, because i achiev a lot about Bitcoin that's why i invest now.

If you have small investment even then you can start investing in Bitcoin, thanks to DCA strategy. The DCA strategy can be a life changer specially for those who only have limited amount to invest in bitcoin. The only challenge is to remain regular in investing in Bitcoin otherwise your small investment wont give you good return. The small investor just need to manage there finances with care to spare some money for Bitcoin on weekly basis. The DCA strategy is also used to big investors because it is a tried and tested that is deemed to give you good return but in the long run.   

I don't care about the strategies people use. The more we know, the more we will automatically start to understand how we should begin. Unfortunately, what many beginners experience is their ignorance in managing finances first. So it will be difficult for them to start with a safe amount. We know Bitcoin is not a risk-free asset.

The first people that had early access to Bitcoin didn't buy Bitcoin, they joined hands with Satoshi to mined Bitcoin, some still has their early wallet with some of this Bitcoin and some has sold for money and benefits. To answer your question, that's not a failure but a courage anyone must have. Do you think if he doesn't enjoy Bitcoin he will want to discuss about it with people and want people to invest, I haven't seen anyone who likes Bitcoin and don't want one.

Our financial challenges are not the same, he may not have the capacity to have anyone now and hy be way, you don't know what some people are going through in their life. There are some people I have met online that share their stories how they lost their Bitcoin to scams and fake ico investment, they went back to nothing but after years of resilience and hard work, they have some that they are proud and the are willing to hold it for long time.

Knowledge first before investing in Bitcoin as we advise. I don't see the need to call someone a failure just because they didn't have the funds to invest in Bitcoin as they supposed to, when they learn about Bitcoin.

As we all know, the crypto market is always open, they can invest in Bitcoin at the time money comes to their hand. I don't think the remain the way they are "poor" without being able to save up little amount at time goes to at least invest in Bitcoin for long term

For some reasons, just anyone can fall into this category and it doesn’t mean they wouldn’t want to invest but, their condition actually incapacitates them from making any gainful Bitcoin investment. I don’t see that to be any fault of theirs and it’s okay.

I think this is okay too! Now what’s there to understand is, teaching is impacting other people’s lives, lives that could turn around to be a helping hand or impact yours. That’s not a bad thing at all when your resources keener allow you to invest.
