Hope pooya87 is fine?

I noticed that Pooya87 has not been active since the beginning of the war in Iran. The Isreal and United States are saying they are only targeting military places, but according to what I have been reading on the news, school was hit while civilians are also affected to an extent.

I do not want to create this post, but something is also telling me to post it because Pooya87 is one of this forum valuable members. If anyone know him, please let us know if he is doing fine, or maybe he is going to see this thread notification and post.

It doesn't matter if you create a thread about your concerns about @Pooya87, that's a normal thing in forums/communities, caring for others is encouraged even though we here are from different countries, religions and races, which is essentially brothers.

In short, @Pooya87 was last active on February 27, which means more than a week, he is active in politics and he often discusses the conditions of the Middle East, the US, Israel and Iran. whether he lives in Iran or vice versa, whether he is part of one of the missile launchers, certainly not much information has been obtained regarding @Pooya87's whereabouts at the moment, yes, because we are here in the Bitcoin community, my only concern is that I hope he is fine and protected. Lord.

Since it's still a short time span since Feb 27. He could be away for some offline business, or, as you know, things happen so fast and abruptly in life, and you find yourself not having time to even get online. I also once found myself in a situation where logging in to the forum was the least of my priorities for days.
I do pray he is fine wherever he is.

 When you're worried about someone, all logical thinking would fly through the roof and you begin to panic. It's okay to feel concerned about pooya87 especially as he's the type of guy that rarely MIA but I feel it's best to not get too bothered but keep being on the lookout. Maybe with the fact that the internet has been shutdown for sometime, it will be a while before we get something from him so it's just a matter of waiting a bit.

Holy so his from Iran. I only wish his fine mate with all whats happening there. But since I read above that internet is out maybe he can just really access it. But I wish his safe though as many people even civilian got hit by the critical war happening now.

Its probably just the lack of internet I'm guessing. Whats kind of interesting is Iranians can still access Telegram b/c it uses different network ports (or something, I'm not entirely sure). There was some Iranian dudes in a TG chat I'm in asking around for a free VPN, as supposedly the internet can still be accessed via VPN there.

I disagree with pooya87 on a lot of things but wish him the best. Terrible situation truly.

Logically, since  @Pooya87 was last active on the 27th if last month and then Internet was shot down in Iran on the 28th being the following day after Pooya87's appeared online, we can guess that the reason for his absence here since then is because of no internet connection, I just hope that that's how it is and that he and the love ones are safe.

This was his last time in this forum and besides, he used to be offline quite a lot before but at this time the situation is clear and they had shut down internet from their country on 28th due to which he could not use it again. If internet is restored again then I hope he will come. If he cannot come even after that then we can consider him as a martyr for Iranian land and his country if he could not come for any other reason then he will definitely inform us about it. I also think that he is not coming here for that reason which will be clear to us after the next few days because there is no talk of any kind of peace between the two countries yet so they want more war and Pooya87 is keeping his connections between them.

Hm, I am not so sure that all they need is a VPN for Internet access because I have IRL friend from Iran (lives here in EU) who went back to Tehran to visit his family, and I also didn't hear from hime since February 27th, despite him always using VPN.

Afaik, only those with Starlink (which is illegal in Iran) or with special government issued sim cards have access to Internet during times like hese.

That sucks. I remember the last time I went through a complete internet shutdown - totally awful experience and I advise getting out of such a place where possible.

One annoyance is subscriptions and stuff. Countries that shut down the internet for months can make user infrastructure like servers etc expire, if they can't be renewed.

The VPN situation in Iran is also unclear. There are news reports warning Iranian users that citizens using VPNs can be blocked by phone number and even face legal action.

If the shutdown was made by completely blocking traffic to the internet, then I don't see how VPNs would help here.

Life is full of unpleasant surprises. I hope it wasn't one of those for pooya87. Even when we are OK financially, even when we say "I finally made it", the surprises keep coming. Every new day is a new lottery ticket.

For some reason I always thought he was from East Europe (must be the po > poland thing) He was also very active in politics topics. I would be very surprised if he was from Iran...

Some of the people I gained from on this forum is Pooya87. He likes to support users on this forum if they post good. He will be in the second place while Leo is in the first place. Where you disagree with him that I noticed is debatable. He does not like Ordinals and BRC20 tokens which you may disagree with him but some people agree with him. Also as you are from United States and he is from Iran, you may have different opinions about United States dominance which some Iranians see as a threat to smaller countries in the future.

I used to have a positive opinion of him because he always contributed to the forum with his knowledge, but recently, given the situation in his country, he has become very harsh in his comments and avoided answering some of my specific questions about what he was doing while his regime was killing thousands in the streets and arresting them.

Furthermore, his generalization of the Western world as a satanic world that will soon be destroyed is completely unacceptable to me and can be perceived as a direct threat to everyone who doesn't share the same political views as him.

My position is that I do not support what the US and Israel are doing, but when you provoke a bear, it will take revenge on you sooner or later. The whole of Iran is plastered with billboards threatening the US, Israel and Western countries with complete destruction, and now the destruction has come to them.

Why would they do that?  Who benefits from preventing pooya87 from accessing the internet?

The same people who've been trying to hide the fact that for the last 2.5 years they've been deliberately targeting schools, hospitals, refuge camps, and food distribution gatherings in Gaza, perhaps?  The same people who've refused to allow inspection of their own nuclear program, while Iran's nuclear program has had more international inspections than any other country in history, perhaps?

Western media lies.  Anything reported by western media is almost certainly the opposite of the truth.

I too wish pooya87 the best.  I hope to see him here telling what he's witnessed soon.  But if it's one thing I've learned, many here will refute his own experience and argue with links to western propaganda as if it's their own truth.
