Yes just like I'm facing right now, when many people join Bitcointalk for the first time, they usually face lot of challenges. They face challenges such as
- Challenge Trying to understand the forum rules.
- Challenge of how to avoid plagiarism
- Challenge of how to make a quality post
- And Challenge of learning how the ranking System work.
Due to the above mentioned challenges or difficulties the beginners are facing in the start, Some beginners start to feel discourage and started Thinking of giving up. Yes I'm talking from experience, I myself registered in to Bitcointalk on 27- February-2022 but just because of the above mentioned Challenges I was facing, I just tell myself you can't do this especially not when you are still a student. But deep down in me something keep telling me that, Mr k. Every Experienced member in this forum also stated as a beginner and they had to learn step by step, so why are you not trying, why do you want to give up when you can also be patient and learn? And I Told Myself That the stating stage can be challenging or can be difficult, But that is the time to learn. I tell myself why don't you go read the forum rules carefully to understand the forum Does and Don’t and as I did that, I now understand that the Beginners who read carefully and understand the forum rules before participating in the discussion and focus on writing useful posts will gradually improve. Yes why I said so is because in my first day, all the posts I did was all deleted but as I go back, read carefully the forum rules, I discovered why my posts was deleted and then know what to do and what not to do. My little Motivation or Advise to Encourage new comers or beginners just like me, is That Giving up at early stage or giving up too early means missing the opportunity to learn about Bitcoin as well as cryptocurrency discussion and you will not have the knowledge that will be shared by Experienced members in the forum. In my Opinion, New comers or beginners should not give up just because of the difficulties they are facing or challenges that comes with the initial stage instead, beginners should see the challenges as part of the learning process. In Addition to all I have said, to go far in the journey you need to be patient, you need to realise yourself. I was reading a book and come across this paragraph the although was talking about success he write. Your part way to success is you need to realise your capabilities. You need to know what you can do and what you cannot do. Is this potentials or capabilities in you that will direct you on the type of goals to set for yourself. Just ask yourself can you be patient or do you have the patience it required to embark on Bitcoin journey? And also note It is not possible to win high level success without meeting oppositions, hardships and setback, but it is possible to live the rest of your life without defeat. According to (Prince usman Mohammed) the Author of a book Dynamite of Success, He said when Craving or working for improvement, adjust to the prevailing conditions for adaption is vital for survival. But to refuse to do anything is a worse situation and tantamount to failure. Now my question is What do you think? Should beginners continue learning despite the difficulties, or is it too challenging for most new comers?
- Challenge Trying to understand the forum rules.
- Challenge of how to avoid plagiarism
- Challenge of how to make a quality post
- And Challenge of learning how the ranking System work.
Among all the challenges which you have mentioned they are not challenges at all if you ask me base on how you have already decoded them in your explanation it means anyone who pays attention enough to the forum rules will be able to understand how the forum works, which if they don’t pay attention they are the one given their self the work of facing what they regard as challenge. You don’t need to learn how to avoid plagiarism, this forum is not the only place that kick against plagiarism, if you know the information you are sharing is not from someone else or some tools then you don’t need to worry about plagiarism unless you copy from a source only then do you need to give credit to where you get your information from. Ranking system is well self explained as long as you read through it, ranking up is just what happens gradually as you learn, grow in knowledge and contributes base on what you have to share with the forum. Now my question is What do you think? Should beginners continue learning despite the difficulties, or is it too challenging for most new comers?
If the purpose of the beginner are here to learn about something and that which they want to learn about is important to them no body needs to motivate them to continue, they will need to pick up a reason for continuing, but if the only purpose which they are here is seeing the forum as a place to earn from then they will see everything as being difficult because the growth won’t be coming as fast as they expected in such a case given up might be the right option for them.

Do you just call all these as challenges, to me I will only say that they are rules and guidelines that must be followed in order to ensure is much running of the forum, if you are being disciplined enough and have the intention of learning each day to improve yourself, then you shouldn't find all these as challenges, instead it way for you to adjust and adapt to the way the forum is being run.

We all were beginners at some points, just imagine we gave up, how would the forum have gotten this big and what would have become of us in terms of the knowledge we gain in this forum that is helping us in managing our Bitcoin investments? There is mo where that is easy and without challenges and this forum is not different. Every beginner should be active, red through the threads and ask question.where necessary and the people here will help because we have lots of good people here who genuinely want to help everyone in need. Being a newbie is not easy but it is a good opportunity to appreciate being in a new community united by Bitcoin.

Frankly, the points you raised are not challenges but the forum's musts and must nots. Personally, I never faced any of these issues when I started because I took my time to read and study the forum before writing anything. It took me 2 weeks to do that without even writing anything. Even if you are stuck at a point, you ask questions for people to point you in the right direction instead of hitting infractions. I don't know why you added plagiarism to the list. Can an authentic write-up hit plagiarism? I guess not!

You don't have to give up when you are facing challenges as a beginner. Giving up means total surrender or abandonment, but it is better to take a break when you are having challenges as a beginner, and this is a normal thing, especially when one is learning.
Because when you continue trying, there is a big possibility of making terrible mistakes. Having a break is a time to learn more and to reflect on the challenges you are going through.
Taking a break means leveling up, while giving up means quitting (never to return or until further notice). They are both different things; one means total failure, while the other means development to succeed.

Yes you may be right if you said they are not a Challenge but them being a way for me to adjust and adapt to the way the forum is being run are what make them Difficult to me from the start. I love it when you said Being a newbie is not easy but it is a good opportunity to appreciate being in a new community united by Bitcoin. Because honestly when i started, I felt it like can I really do this, but gradually I have understand that what I need is patience, consistency dedication and continue learning about the Bitcoin and the forum. Even though I'm a person who Doesn't give up on things easily but to be honest I found it a bit difficult this time. [mod note: merged consecutive posts]

You just broke a rule mate! Rule no 32. Users are not allowed to make multiple posts in a row. But given your rank and everything, it's understandbele you wouldn't know that. To solve this, just reply to everyone in a single post. It's quite easy, you just need to practise bbcodes for some time. I would suggest you read the rules again. Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ. 32. Posting multiple posts in a row (excluding bumps and reserved posts by the thread starter) is not allowed.

Those "Challenges" won't be a problem as long as you have a strong determination and intention to contribute to this forum we love. You just need to make those challenges a stepping stone so you can go further. What you must firmly instill in yourself is a "persistent desire to learn" accompanied by a "great sense of curiosity." Personally, I also felt that everything the OP mentioned was a challenge at first, but as time went by, thankfully I have gotten used to it until now. So, I advise you to stay enthusiastic and don't give up, because every process you go through must have meaning or wisdom in it, with the hope that you can reach the next stage.

I understand it may be hard to learn and follow ALL the rules in a perfect way. We all make mistakes here however, this is not a place for perfection. I get that getting a higher Rank is difficult too, although that will solve it self with time. But the rest of them? How hard is it to not plagiarize? If you do plagiarize then what is the reason you are even here? Due to the above mentioned challenges or difficulties the beginners are facing in the start, Some beginners start to feel discourage and started Thinking of giving up.
Giving up on what? You know everyone see life from different perspectives, what might be very simple for you may be the toughest thing someone has ever do in life
When you feel like it is too much, take a break. This Forum should not be a challenge or a difficulty in your life. You probably learned that you could get some Bitcoin while spending your time here. If that is what you are looking for, make sure you also look for a way to make your stay enjoyable. Find the Topics you are interested in and try to write your answers as if you were commenting on Social Media, on Reddit or having a conversation with your friends.

Beginners are bound to make mistakes. People will let it slide if you can learn from them and correct your ways. What’s important is that your contributions are a net positive overall.
As a beginner, you don’t need to worry about how the rank system works. Focusing too much on ranking up is what leads newcomers to become spammers and shitposters. Not spamming and not plagiarizing are easy rules to follow. There is a lot of leniency when it comes to post quality, but you can avoid becoming a shitposter by learning and understanding some of the topics that get discussed often. Don’t just farm enough merits to rank up and then go into autopilot, mindlessly posting only in the gambling section, after you’re accepted into a campaign.

Your profile @OP has explained it all. You created your account since 2022 and left because you were discouraged from being active in the forum, the result here is that your account was left stagnant for all of those years you left the forum. This is enough to know that giving up does not solve the challenges anyone may face in this forum.
Everyone of us have had one form of challenge or the other in the past during our newbie days in this forum. The challenges only made us realise that bitcointalk is not just a bed of roses for those seeking to earn money from the forum. No matter your motive here, you must be willing to learn and improve. If you think you are wasting your time here, you will be easily disappointed and disappointed.

Beginners are bound to face these challenges, because we want to get in, we want to become valuable members in the forum, and we want to make improvements and progress even though the path is hard and tough.
And just so you know, every hero or legendary has passed the stage of being a newbie, but they never see theirselves quitting and leave the forum, otherwise they might not become reputable members in the forum by now.
We all learn through scratch, and there's no easy learning especially with bitcoin and the crypto market, but our only weapon here is patience and perseverance. If we don't have that, then we can't be valuable members in the forum soon.

Now my question is What do you think? Should beginners continue learning despite the difficulties, or is it too challenging for most new comers?
I'd like to believe that the forum is still newbie- and user-friendly as long as you follow the rules and acquaint yourself with how it works; then you can overcome these obstacles. In any field, the hardest part is starting, but once you earn the community's trust, things will be easy and you will be motivated to keep going. Extend your patience and you will eventually get there.

Things were not like this in the early days of the forum for the newbies (but the rules are set in stone) until this forum was abused and spammed using a throwaway account (newbie ranking account). Ever since then, this forum is for newbies with crypto knowledge, thin skin, and those making good contributions (which are what you need to survive on this forum now and in the future).
I don't see trying to understand the forum rules (the same thing goes to avoiding plagiarism, and quality posts) as a challenge, if you care to read till you understand and never be in haste. Whatever, a newbies experienced during the learning stage shouldn't be the reason for th newbie to feel discouraged or give up. We have some users who have been through the same thing who are now among the most respected users of this forum.

What do you think? Should beginners continue learning despite the difficulties, or is it too challenging for most new comers?
The points you mentioned are indeed important for the forum but for those who simply follow these rules, it should not really be a challenging matter. These things are not very difficult because they are just basic guidelines to maintain discipline while making posts on the forum. I can see that you created your account around 2022, but you haven’t been able to move forward since then and that can be considered a setback. If you had remained active and tried to maintain things properly while posting, you would likely be in a much better rank by now. If a new person is willing to learn, wants to make good posts and can remain patient and careful, then moving forward in this forum is not really a difficult thing. That is why I believe these simple guidelines are not very challenging for most newbies.

Yes just like I'm facing right now, when many people join Bitcointalk for the first time, they usually face lot of challenges.
You joined the forum more than four years ago and the forum does not take four years for newbies to learn about it. Yes I'm talking from experience, I myself registered in to Bitcointalk on 27- February-2022 but just because of the above mentioned Challenges I was facing, I just tell myself you can't do this
These things are not challenges or barriers for newbies who are ready learning with available sticky threads in Beginners & Help, Meta boards. If they are ready, and have time, they can learn these things quite comfortably but learn these things quick or slow, it depends on their available time. especially not when you are still a student.
It can be your reason but if you are ready to learn, you can spend 15 minutes a day for reading and learning, I don't see time is too restricted for learning with several minutes a day. 15 minutes of learning a day is not too much, does not make different, but if you maintain this for weeks or months, you will learn a lot of things about the forum. If Satoshi Nakamoto could start, Hal Finney could start, many people could start, you can do the same. Satoshi's lesson.Bitcoin and me (Hal Finney).

We were all beginners at one point in time, starting out with 0 posts and no knowledge about how the forum works. But you have to take your time and learn how things work.
You said that you were a student. It's not easy being a freshman in a new college, new city, surrounded by people you don't know. You have to adapt to that as well. It takes time to get to know your colleagues, the professors, and how each one of them ticks and what they expect. Then you have to get used to the faculty and learn where everything is. In the beginning you might need someone to hold you by the arm and show you around. But in one or two years, you will be the one helping other freshmen.
Apply that same logic here. Read the rules and watch how older users behave to understand what you can and can't do. And understand that progress and ranking up takes time, if that's your goal. You need four years to go from freshman to senior, so don't expect to be senior here in a week. Take one step at a time.
Good luck!

- Challenge of how to avoid plagiarism
- Challenge of how to make a quality post

Due to the above mentioned challenges or difficulties the beginners are facing in the start, Some beginners start to feel discourage and started Thinking of giving up. Op, I will like to speak for myself, from my own perspectives all the above listed as challenges to you seems normal thing to me that everyone here has faced and the newbies will also face the same thing. **When you talk of understanding the forum's rules and regulations, it's very simple just use the link below https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0#post_rules**To easy your challenges in or on how to make a quality post, please take your time and read the link below https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0#post_guidelinesYes I'm talking from experience, I myself registered in to Bitcointalk on 27- February-2022 but just because of the above mentioned Challenges I was facing, I just tell myself you can't do this especially not when you are still a student.
It's good as you have learnt a lot from the experienced you had here, but being a student isn't an excuse for newbies, I belief many members here came into the forum since they were student, moreover, as a student you have a great chances of learning alots here, because reading and understanding the concept of this forum would be easy for a student than someone that have graduated already. do you think? Should beginners continue learning despite the difficulties,
YES...Encourag yourself to be stronger and learn, but quitting the forum or the learning process due to sine of the easy procedures you called challenges isn't a good decisions. It's only the lazy ones quite easily, as a newbie, prepare yourself to face any challenges or difficulties here and within a couple of months you shall see the result.
Good luck!
You really made a good point here, since its common for newbies to feel like they are bit lost when they go on environment which is so new to them. So best approach regarding on this situation is to observe the actions or interactions done by people in this forum. Then next thing they could do is to know the rules so that they are aware about what are the important things implemented here. Then they could do some research research on famous topics discuss, so they get an idea on how to answer if they join on the discussions here. Little by little they can build their confidence and later on they can contribute well if they are eager to learn lots of things about Bitcoin and also what other situations happened in crypto space. Good progress will not happen in one day only, but if they are consistent and show willingness to learn for sure that they can survive here.
