I am a new member of this forum. I find it difficult to understand many things, but I try to understand everything by visiting different forums. I try to follow the rules completely, sometimes mistakes are made, I try to correct them. Is the way I am moving forward right? I am gaining knowledge and expressing my opinions.
As long as you are open to accepting correction, then you are on the right path; nobody can learn everything in one day. The more you are here, the more exposed you will get, and the more likely you will also get corrected on things you might have considered to be right while they're not. The forum is easy as long as you are ready to learn and you are not looking for shortcuts for whatever reason that may be.

...
Can you be more specific with what you don't understand (maybe in an own topic/thread if your struggles don't fit in here)?

I'm pretty sure you can get answers if people know about your particular issues you have with this forum. So feel free, to explain what bothers you and other members might chime in with some helpful advise.

The forum is not hard, as long as you are ready to learn. The forum are always active anytime you come here with issue there is always people up attend to your problem. However, sometimes you will make a mistake and think you can correct it your self in the process of doing that you may make more mistake.

that is why is always good to ask question whenever you see an error in what you are doing so people who know more than you can correct you, that’s how the forum work. And I believe that the sweetest part of it.

Yes just like I'm facing right now, when many people join Bitcointalk for the first time, they usually face lot of challenges. They face challenges such as
  • Challenge Trying to understand the forum rules.
  • Challenge of how to avoid plagiarism
  • Challenge of how to make a quality post
  • And Challenge of learning how the ranking System work.

Due to the above mentioned challenges or difficulties the beginners are facing in the start, Some beginners start to feel discourage and started Thinking of giving up.

Yes I'm talking from experience, I myself registered in to Bitcointalk on 27- February-2022 but just because of the above mentioned Challenges I was facing, I just tell myself you can't do this especially not when you are still a student.

But deep down in me something keep telling me that, Mr k. Every Experienced member in this forum also stated as a beginner and they had to learn step by step, so why are you not trying, why do you want to give up when you can also be patient and learn?
And I Told Myself That the stating stage can be challenging or can be difficult, But that is the time to learn.
I tell myself why don't you go read the forum rules carefully to understand the forum Does and Don’t and as I did that, I now understand that the Beginners who read carefully and understand the forum rules before participating in the discussion and focus on writing useful posts will gradually improve.

Yes why I said so is because in my first day, all the posts I did was all deleted but as I go back, read carefully the forum rules,  I discovered why my posts was deleted and then know what to do and what not to do.

My little Motivation or Advise to Encourage new comers or beginners just like me, is That Giving up at early stage or giving up too early means missing the opportunity to learn about Bitcoin as well as cryptocurrency discussion and you will not have the knowledge that will be shared by Experienced members in the forum.

In my Opinion, New comers or beginners should not give up just because of the difficulties they are facing or challenges that comes with the initial stage instead,  beginners should see the challenges as part of the learning process.

In Addition to all I have said, to go far in the journey you need to be patient, you need to realise yourself.

I was reading a book and come across this paragraph the although was talking about success he write.
Your part way to success is you need to realise your capabilities. You need to know what you can do and what you cannot do. Is this potentials or capabilities in you that will direct you on the type of goals to set for yourself.

Just ask yourself can you be patient or do you have the patience it required to embark on Bitcoin journey? And also note
It is not possible to win high level success without meeting oppositions, hardships and setback, but it is possible to live the rest of your life without defeat.

According to (Prince usman Mohammed) the Author of a book Dynamite of Success, He said when Craving or working for improvement, adjust to the prevailing conditions for adaption is vital for survival. But to refuse to do anything is a worse situation and tantamount to failure.

Now my question is
What do you think? Should beginners continue learning despite the difficulties,  or is it too challenging for most new comers?
Am sure any sane thinkr already knows everything in life has a starting point. A beginner today will not be a beginner tomorrow. But if they quit, they will remain beginners. As challenging as it is, you have to still your ass down and learn or walk away, its pretty simple. Being open to learn, being teachable is another way to scale not just here but in so many other things. If you run because of  hte challenges, just keep running.

But does everyone face the same challenges at the early stage? I guess not
.

From my view as a beginner myself, the very first thing on my mind is to understand and ask questions about how cryptocurrency works, also the benefits it offers the world.

Not just trying to build my presence and rank. Although achieving that is a good goal, I don't think it should be the priority at an early stage.

If building rank and presence becomes your initial goal instead of building knowledge, it may negatively affect your mindset and overall growth on the platform. In my opinion, knowledge should always come first. When you truly understand cryptocurrency, ranking up and building your presence naturally follows.

You will find it easier to write quality posts, engage meaningfully in discussions, and earn merit-simply because you know what you are talking about. And rank and recognition will come easily and later.......

The forum rules are plain and self explanatory to the understanding of everyone. Because I'm very much sure some members might have shared the link to the unofficial rules of this distinguish forum on this thread for you to read and get familiarize with. And secondly, plagiarism can be 100% avoided if only you stop copy and pasting other peoples content which you stole from online. Because this forum frowns at plagiarism very well. And thirdly, when it comes to making quality posts, it's definitely not hard, as you just have to study other people's post which you think it's quality and apply the same to yours. And one tip that can help you make quality post is by always trying to understand what the central message of whatever post you are trying to reply to.  Because understanding the post very well can literally help you to know what to say correctly. So that's all.. But unless you are a complete dumb person that you will find it difficult with this forum.
