Opportunities don't come twice, so only regret can be felt now and continue to live despite returning to poverty after having previously been rich from gambling.

Actually this depends on how our lifestyle is... because they feel a lot of money and spend money just like that, no matter how much money they have, it will run out... people like this are not wise in managing money and are not responsible in doing it well, this happens a lot among gamblers where they win jackpots in the lottery again fall into poverty.

Even though this is one example of a case where gambling can change the gambler's life in terms of their finances but indeed poor money management makes him not survive with the jackpot he has.
It's just that on average it's like this where some of my friends also have big winnings in gambling even it's already many times the salary they have every month but when a bad lifestyle and can't manage finances properly then situations like what happened to the jackpot winner is what happened.

You wouldn't know what will happen next, til it is already in front of your face. So we can't judge this person for not taking the winning opportunity to really change his life for lifetime. Lol .. just as expected having the money ain't no issue man managing it properly is the real deal you don't expect someone that can't differentiate between liability and asset to understand how to grow money, or someone that values a vacation more than an investment to stay rich.

People these days are dumb and want to live above their means putting them in a cycle of debt. This just goes to show you should grow wealth not only being lucky.

It was not spent wisely. It doesn't matter if it came from gambling or if it happened so fast, like winning a lottery. It's up to the person how they decide to use it, and there are so many options to make more money with that winning amount—investment, business, or just keeping it for safety and for the future.

I don't see any reason to have malice toward this type of gambler because they are the type of people who make us know that there's a chance to become a millionaire overnight through gambling, and they are also the set of people we use their naive mistake as a lesson, so we don't end up doing the same thing they did.

There is always that one gambler that gambles and will always keep hoping to win huge and  quit gambling entirely. But this kind of people sometimes have a set target in there mind, that if they win withing a particular amount or range, they are going to quit. And this blindfold them not realize when they have won big, because they had mentality, even if the opportunity had come to them, they never realized utill they lose it. This is one of the decisions that we should think for so many times on how we're going to spend that jackpot if ever we've won it.

Because not all jackpot winners are good in financial management. And they think that their money is going to last a life time even if it's not.

They have no plans on how to invest and make itself earn for itself because they all see are the numbers from how much they've won. If it's a million jackpot, they think that it should be spent until it's gone.

We're not going to live for just a few years if God willing, we'll have more years and that's why we need to invest it and make more money out of it.
