How do you see bitcoin?

Just like the thread says, I will like to talk about the perspective in which we see bitcoin individually, bitcoin is seen from several perspectives, some may look at it as mere investment tool, some may see it as more in terms of monetary values, yet we have what really we see it for on a personal basis, hence let's deliberate on it as people with high insights to technology and what the world is going through right now.

You can just say something like; My perspective of bitcoin:.......

I personally consider Bitcoin as an investment tool. Some may consider it a store of value but I think it is only a valuable asset for investment until I have a decent amount of Bitcoin holdings. If we consider the intrinsic value of Bitcoin, it is more valuable than what we are writing about. Currently, throwing yourself outside of your government-issued financial system will not give you freedom because you are a significant participant in a centralized financial system. Bitcoin and decentralized financial systems give you alternative financial freedom where the excess of fiat causes inflation to reduce the value of your assets.

My view of Bitcoin is that it is a form of social change in our country and it is a shield against the rising inflation in this country. Moreover, many of us see it as a major investment tool and apparently, financial freedom, privacy and fast transactions are also one of the reasons for using Bitcoin.

Even then, for now, I think that people from different parts of the world can participate in the same network without any specific permission because this is the freedom of this electronic currency. Therefore, it can be concluded that since the invention of Bitcoin, many people have been taking advantage of it in various ways, such as many people on the African continent using it as an alternative currency, and you may also find that this decentralized currency is giving many Bitcoiners alternative freedoms because in my opinion, its usability is increasing everywhere, including restaurants and shops.

To me, l see bitcoin as investment. Why did l say so? One of the major reasons for investing in any kind of business today is to make profit. People who trade bitcoin don't just do it to hide their money,or to buy today and sell today rather they will want to sell when the price of bitcoin has gone up..
 So In summary,l will still maintain that bitcoin is an investment irrespective of how long an individual desides to keep their own.

I understand that different people understands Bitcoin in different ways and some also use bitcoin for different things. To me, Bitcoin has several use cases, and as for me, I use Bitcoin as a store of value. Bitcoin is a digital currency that grows in value over long period of time, and i equally believe whoever is holding bitcoin, is holding it for the purpose of appreciating in value over time.
Bitcoin is a valuable asset, Bitcoin erodes inflation, the more you store Bitcoin in your wallet , the more the value of your money increases too.

Bitcoin as been helping alot of investors that invest in it for long term. And since am investing in bitcoin and hear about it people that have been investing have not talk any negative things about it because they always patient and wait for there target and achieve there profit. So if you're someone that have the interest on investing in bitcoin he should just get the believe that he will be profitable in it when they invest but some are thinking that when they invest they will lose there funds an such people are not a real inventors because any good investors always ready to face the challenges when he comes. I usually wonder why some will be chasing profit but they won't like to lose, the more you risk that is how you can probably be profitable or lose but you just need to risk.

Bitcoin as a tool for investment will always be what many people will show interest in and will make them move to actually want to be part of the Bitcoin ecosystem. It may have been invested for the monetary value of it, but until now not so many people accept bitcoin in that basis or perspective because the government isn’t even allowing them to have the free will to be used for transactional purposes. Bitcoin will continue to dominate as an asset that can be dependable on for the long term, but as a means to replace the traditional fiat currency is still looking unrealistic yet.

Literally most of the assets that you have available can lose value due to inflation but since Bitcoin is a decentralized and digital asset the impact is very low. Initially I expected to make a profit from Bitcoin but the more I learned about Bitcoin the more I became interested in long term accumulation because Bitcoin has a strong potential to reach $1 million in the future. In the future I think the dollar will fall and Bitcoin will maintain its value as an alternative asset in the world and its adoption in intra-trade transactions will increase.

I see Bitcoin as a better solution to inflation and rise in price of things in our Nigerian market. Any investor can choose to invest in Bitcoin first until they gather the right knowledge to invest in that specific business they envision. It's better than keeping fiat in the bank, because inflation and fees would reduce its potency overtime.

I also see Bitcoin as a way to earn payments for remote jobs instead of regular fiat or just savings in the bank, which may not hold much value at the time of usage.

For a trader, Bitcoin is his source of income or regular income. For a miner, Bitcoin is his source of income or business. For an investor, Bitcoin is an asset. For a bitcoin exchange, Bitcoin is a financial system. Even many people use Bitcoin for privacy and financial freedom.

From my perspective, Bitcoin is an investment asset and stash. I give the most priority to privacy and security with my assets. Even in the long term, Bitcoin plays the most role in protecting my money from inflation. There are many advantages of using Bitcoin, I try to take those advantages as needed. We do see Bitcoin in different pictures where it fits in with aside investment but plenty people wey me I know including myself dey use am mostly for investment since it has the credibility of increasing it's value over time just as it has done and still doing from when it was created, Bitcoin is a big show for people wey wan save for their old age na there wey me I like pass ooo our local currency go cast for inflation hand but with Bitcoin nothing like that because is limited, with Bitcoin hope dey even when in decrease it will rise.

There are different perspectives on bitcoin that are real, and some people still have their own perspectives on bitcoin that don't exist, like the perspective that investing in bitcoin makes one rich quickly. I think it is very important for people to understand the real perspective of bitcoin and not be carried away by their own views based on how they see bitcoin.

One thing that I have come to realize is that many people see bitcoin in different ways that are not real based on their own understanding, and they just go about it like that without trying to do research to gain a real understanding of what bitcoin is all about.

The way I see crypto in general apart from Bitcoin is means of payment, a highly developed system designed to ease payment across continents either publicly or privately, since some were designed to operate without any tracking records like Monero. My perspective does not only include to Bitcoin but the cryptographic entities as a whole, so viewing it as a means of payment is what I could say.

The question is how do you see Bitcoin and not how you see cryptocurrencies or altcoins, because the purpose of Bitcoin is 10x more significant that most of these altcoins or other cryptocurrencies, so it’s somehow annoying when people bring in these altcoins into Bitcoin discussions.

Bitcoin is the future of money, a future where everyone is in full control of their money without any third party interferences, and no altcoins is capable of offering this kind of freedom.

Bitcoin is mainly an investment choice, most commonly the purpose for holding bitcoin is either to store finances for future purpose or seen as a revenue to generate quick wealth, in whatever way people think mostly bitcoin is definitely attached to store, money and asset. Personally bitcoin serve as an investment choice, a trustworthy investment according to past event and research bitcoin investment is considered a good choice of investment and aside storing wealth I don’t consider other functions yet at the moment probably as time goes I will find other purpose.

To my best knowledge over the few months i have spend within the forum i came across bitcoin discussion in some thread were it is been said that is for the future and for you to gain more in bitcoin you need to invest for long term investment with your discretionary income.

Bitcoin has always being an inspiration for me, that what was ignored and doubted turned out to be the greatest cryptocurrency now. Bitcoin has the most potential and stability as a cryptocurrency which is what most investors need. They don't look for what would take their money away in a single swing,  but what has fundamentals that guides it and a system that supports big time investors.

Bitcoin has really being impressive over the years, and would definitely do great numbers in the future; that I'm convinced about.
