Just like the thread says, I will like to talk about the perspective in which we see bitcoin individually, bitcoin is seen from several perspectives, some may look at it as mere investment tool, some may see it as more in terms of monetary values, yet we have what really we see it for on a personal basis, hence let's deliberate on it as people with high insights to technology and what the world is going through right now.

Well, to me, Bitcoin is the following;

1) security asset: Bitcoin is basically an asset I can trade on and make profit, trades like P2P, spot trade, and futures trade. Even though Bitcoin is very volatile, I feel it is easier to trade compared to other traditional forex security assets.

2) means for international transfers: Since Bitcoin can be traded anywhere in the world, you can use it to send money to anyplace in the world without the ridiculous international bank charges.

3) Investment: you can buy and hold Bitcoin to increase the value of your money and make profit, because Bitcoin is a store of value that have a progressive increase in it's purchasing power.

4) The future: The world is shifting rapidly into being digitalized, very soon, alot of things will be digital. And in that digital world, we need a digital currency. In the future, Bitcoin will be leading in this area, so I see it as a future currency with high importance and value.

It protects privacy in transactions and also keeps the amount of bitcoin a person holds from being easily exposed.

I don't think this is true, the amount of Bitcoin a person holds can easily be viewed in Blockchain scan, so it can be exposed, but they can't do anything about it. If a person's address is known, the amount of Bitcoin or any other coin can easily be known, there are so many tools that can do that, that's why it is pseudonymous and not fully or completely anonymous.

My perspective on bitcoin is more complex but simple, I see bitcoin as an escape for inflation especially in times of global rate cut, in period of global tension, I picture bitcoin as a safe haven for escape.
One of my most valuable views on bitcoin is seeing bitcoin as investment project for big investment and also a tradeable asset.
This is why I keep studying the project or coin as it keep evolving.

Lol, certainly na wetin I see am as oo, normally, I'm a website designer, and anytime I dey build websites wey need payment services, I dey always include Bitcoin and crypto, I dey trade as well no be today, so yes I dey use am as security asset, I don buy and hold Bitcoin at some point then sell, but I they plan to set up proper plans to accumulate in this bear market, so yes. And finally I dey into IT, so I dey full on into digitalization, seeing Bitcoin as the future na honestly my own personal view, just my speculation based on how tynz dey progress, so those points na purely my personal experience and view on Bitcoin.

I see BTC as an investment where investors can grow financially in the future. I have read a lot of books that contain BTC and how people can take advantage of BTC to grow wealth, but since I joined this forum some years ago, I discovered that everything we are discussing here are reality for someone to buy BTC and hodl for long years to enable to earn massive profits. Even some governments in the world have seen the sign in BTC, which is the reason some governments feel it will destroy their fiat money which is not true.

BTC can reduce unemployment in a country, I guess we have heard such story from El Salvador country that is doing well in every part of their industries today, because they made BTC legal tender in the country that is attracting investors into their country to improve economically.

To my very own perspective I see Bitcoin as a way to the future. Before Bitcoin come in we were facing banking limits and failing of Naira always. But as Bitcoin price raises today I see it connect different youth together in the we world. Bitcoin today is more than just investment, it a Digital Capital (in my own words I choose to call it Digital Gold). As allot of us do focus on daily price swings, I always see it as 10years savings account that won’t experience anything like bank freeze. This has really given the power of self central bank, nobody rule ing ur funds.

Different people have different ideas about Bitcoin and evaluate it accordingly. I still see it as an investment asset. But of course, as a digital asset for long-term investment, I never invest in Bitcoin for any short-term gain. And when its volatility decreases in the future and it actually acts as a hedge against inflation, then all the benefits will be available from it. Since its supply is limited, its value will definitely increase in the future and that is why I keep it. I also keep Bitcoin for its multifaceted benefits such as financial security and freedom and finally to prevent the depreciation of the Naira.

To be honest, Bitcoin is more like a threat to the government, you know, whatever the government is against often brings fortune and freedom to a citizen, that's why government never want the citizen to partake in such. Everyone sees bitcoin differently which is because there perspective and purpose of what they need bitcoin for are not the same. Some person may be investing in bitcoin because of it's monetary value or because it can be use to escape inflation while some others is into bitcoin to Lauder out money and to receive illicit funds through bitcoin. Bitcoin signify freedom as it doesn't chose who uses it and who shouldn't which is why bitcoin is open for everyone as long as you know how to use it. Because bitcoin is open to all doesn't mean it should be use for crime. Yes, different people have different ideas about Bitcoin and they evaluate this currency accordingly, even many people have basically two different ideas about Bitcoin, some in our country remember Bitcoin as an economic revolution and investment like digital gold. For example different ideas about Bitcoin; Independent transactions: In fact using Bitcoin, every nigerian in our country is able to transact money directly without any bank or intermediary, freedom from surveillance because it is outside the control of the government, many investors consider payment transactions through Bitcoin as an independent financial system.

Sorry, but which part of wetin OsaiEmma talk for there wey no make sense as Nigerian Bitcoin users, as far as I’m concerned, those things wey him list there na actually the few things wey Nigerians fit actually use Bitcoin dey do, although no be every Naija people dey reason the investment part, but e no mean say people no Dey do am for we naija. Na that investment part self na e I see say e dey hard some people for we country to HOdL, but the rest na normal thing wey plenty of we Naija people dey do.
