Bitcoin (like Russia) loves big round numbers and great milestones. One such milestone is not far away - block number 1 000 000.
What kind of surprise it can bring ?

I hope it doesn't turn out like it did with the halving block, where there was a crazy increase in fees because lots of people were paying them to post images on the block. That's the first thing that comes to mind.

Yeah, but it was during the time wherein there was really an attack on the network itself, causing congestion with ordinals. And it's just a matter of time that this hype will die down and that's what happened.

So I don't think that we will have that kind of hype on block 1,000,000. Maybe some miners will embedded a message but that's it.

I am missing the link with a nation but even with bitcoin... Anyway...
There will be the same hype for inscriptions inside this block as we have seen once has been launched runes ordinals etc.
Crazy fees for sure...good news for miners or at least for who will mine this block.
A wise decision would be to avoid to transact during those hours for sure since many would just try to spam blockchain.

I don’t think there will be a technical surprise, but it will probably be a symbolic moment for Bitcoin. Reaching one million blocks shows how strong and stable the network has become.
