I am new here myself. But I don't know much. But how did the person who opened the topic know so much when he  was also new? It seems like he copied and pasted from a book. The writings seem somehow complicated.

Lol 😂😂 this dude is really funny. "He copied and pasted from a book" ? .

If you are here to learn then try reading and making research on what you are reading so that you will have more understanding on what is being discussed.

OP, post like this, should be concise and simple to read. Making a lengthy post like this, is tiring to read, as this is same information someone can find in the forum or the Internet providing them with.

That being said, OP, I believe you are aware that no information a newbie can't find here. Creating post that has being said before, doesn't make your post to be different from others. Instead it makes it look like unnecessary post that shouldn't be made because of no new information to learn rather the existing information newbies should be aware of, as they start their crypto journey

MY OWN ADVICE FOR BEGINNERS LIKE ME IS.
The advice is Newbies Stop Teaching When You Need To Learn.

Because your effort to teach the others can be not accurate in knowledge and can mislead other newbies to wrong directions. Your teach in this thread does not attach any resources from which you learned and got information for your thread.

With newbies, rather than teaching, they can focus on learning and sharing things with source links for more accurate information. Generally, learning is their main thing, and sharing or teaching should not be priority.
Is necessary to remind newbies (we are yet part of) to focus on learning instead of been in a hurry to teach when they still seeking traction in the forum.

While that is said it is still important to emphasis that not all the newbies the register newly into the forum could be newbies in cryptocurrency knowledge in the outside world before they became members of the forum they may have been part of a crypto community which is what could have made some characters to not mind sharing their knowledge notwithstanding their newbie status.

I'm not defending OP, but I want to correct your misconception that, if you're a newbie, you cannot post an informative post like OP did. We never know if he has been into cryptocurrency for many years and just signed up here to share his experiences; his posting habit in the coming days will be judged if he is really knowledgeable on the subject.
And also I would like to correct it should be e-book you cannot copy paste from a physical book. Cheesy

I don't think the poster refers to an actual physical book either. His point is that OP seems to copy and paste things. Although I do agree that a newbie rank doesn't necessarily mean a newbie with 0 knowledge on how crypto works. I mean, some service representatives start as a newbie, and they can explain how their services work and stuff like that.

Speaking of beginner education, from my experience sharing stuff with my friends, it's quite easy to get sidetracked into financial discussion with trading advice and so on. The hardest part is to encourage them to focus on how to manage a self-custodial wallet properly.

Sharing good documents and resources you know to your family members or friends is enough for helping them. It's their interest and they must use their time for reading and learning, while you already save their searching time by sharing what they can learn from, and also prevent them falling to bad resources that can both waste their time and lead them to wrong directions with bad and inaccurate knowledge about Bitcoin and the market.

Don't try to give them any advice like financial advice, as if they fail, have loss, they will blame their bad actions and results on your advice while we know advice and practice are different. With a same advice, same strategy, different people will practice it differently and there will be winners and losers with a same strategy in a same market.

Well is possible for a newbie to know something about cryptocurrency just that they are new to this forum. Being new to the forum doesn’t mean you are new to crypto because some people are good traders before they get to know about this forum, and they will come here to learn more about the forum and cryptocurrency in general which is the reason why this forum is active till date.

However; beginners are supposed to stay focus to learn instead of going further to browse in internet and try to create post on their own; that is not all about the forum, it can be good you share your idea with others, but it will be good as a beginner if you can stay and observe before you start making your own contributions to the forum.
Nevertheless, some of the OP posts are valid and are accurate, but I will encourage the OP to focus on leaning either.

In the past, it was more likely people knew about this forum firstly when they wanted to learn about Bitcoin, ask something about Bitcoin from technical to investment advice. In latest years, with growths of Bitcoin adoption and social media, people are more keen on relying on social media as their first exposure with Bitcoin and also have their first learning on social media platforms.

They still can join the forum but it is no longer their first place of learning about Bitcoin. I see something risky if what you wrote is true, like people are traders somewhere else before joining this Bitcoin forum. Trading is dangerous and it's not recommended for many people, especially newbies who have higher risk of losing money by trading Bitcoin. It's more risky if they trade with leverages and futures on exchanges with high risk and probability of liquidations.

It is possible that the OP might have copied this topic some where but what you also need to have in mind is to know that not all newbies are tye same. Some newbies may be newbies in this forum but they may have basic understanding about bitcoin or even good understanding of bitcoin.

This is why some newbies who already have foundation in bitcoin when they visit a forum like this, it is not strange for them. As newbie it is important to take challenge to learn abd develope yourself,  dont just conclude to remain newbie in knowledge

Yeah. ’d like to share a small tool I built: SeedCraft – a deterministic BIP39 seed phrase generator.

Why?
Sometimes you want to generate a seed phrase from a memorable password, or you need to derive a reproducible seed for testing or backups. This tool does exactly that: the same secret code will always produce the same 12‑word BIP39 phrase.

How it works:

Enter your secret code (any text)

The script uses SHA‑512 and SHA‑256 to derive a BIP39-compliant phrase deterministically

No network calls, no tracking, runs completely in the browser

Can be saved and used offline

Why trust it?

All code runs locally – you can disconnect from the internet after loading the page

The HTML is simple and can be inspected

Link: https://seedcraft.live

KNOW YOU CAN HOLD YOU SEED ONLY IN YOUR HEAD !!!! =) you can import and delete seed-phrase, later you can restore seed id needed using html you can save it for offline use.

Feel free to test, use, or share feedback.

MY OWN ADVICE FOR BEGINNERS LIKE ME IS.[/b]
As a Beginners you should focus on education before you start to invest in cryptocurrency.
You can avoid mistakes and Make a better decisions in crypto space as a beginner or new users by Understanding the technology, security practices, and market risks befor thinking to invest in cryptocurrency. Beginners will be able to avoid common mistakes and safely explore the opportunities in the cryptocurrency space by Having proper education, patience, and good security practices.[/list]
In accordance with the understanding of a beginner who is involved in the crypto space to invest, they should have good knowledge to start so as not to get caught up in something they don't want. Some input might be good for such a long piece of writing and it is appropriate that when we are somewhere we know the process first so that getting started can be much easier and achieve a level of consistency.

Knowledge, patience and discipline are important and perhaps not only in the crypto space but wherever we are, these three concepts need to be applied. If we realize that knowledge about crypto as a whole is not good then the first step is learning to understand it first so that when making decisions we have a much better view and that is a must.

OP have you bothered to ask yourself why your posts are being deleted. The use of AI to generate posts is not allowed on the forum and you have violated that rule more than once. So before you start teaching others what to do as a newbie, you need to first understand the forum rules yourself.
I'm shocked that a newbie wants to educate senior members on this forum and he didn't though of learning the basic on the forum first. I feel he's not a learnable person and he's not will to learn, he's post has been deleted twice and he as not ask why. Yet he's still posting with AI.

I have nothing to contribute to his AI generated writeup because he needs to be school first on the do and don't on this forum before he will be able to educate us, a beginner is educating a beginner that's strange. Agree with you he should learn the rules of the forum to avoid further violations of rules.

Well, it has been a couple of days since OP last posted on the forum, I want to believe that he’s actually taking his own advice and reading more about bitcoin and the forum so he can genuinely contribute to forum discussions.
Forum is not as simple as we may think, although you could be right but to me it would be that better for people to keep doing more reading than being educators or even giving guides to people over here where they have not fully understood how the forum function.
Of anyone who comes to the community with the sole purpose of understanding things about Bitcoin could easily navigate the entire platform. What matters is interest and passion to keep themselves educated with the bunch of information that is in this community.

Thank you for sharing. I think this post contains valuable information that everyone should definitely learn before getting into crypto. I’m also a newbie and what you’ve written has been both a guide and a warning. At first, everything seems exciting but as you emphasised, wallet security, seed phrases and types of scams are issues that must not be overlooked. I’ve found that practising with small amounts reduces the cost of making mistakes. this makes it easier to understand the logic behind sending and receiving transactions. Additionally, understanding the difference between the convenience of exchanges and non custodial wallets protects one from unnecessary risks. Thank you for reminding me once again not to fall for guaranteed promises on social media to avoid panic buying and selling, and to think long term...

I don't know if people has realized that LONG WALL of text generated with Ai are completely boring and useless.
Also education requires a systematic approach with easy example. For sure there is also a rationale behind about "what" you need to keep safe Roll Eyes
The same approach for a big exchange would never be used by a small shop.
Starting from early guides, protocols, even white paper could provide a first insight. Have a look on https://glacierprotocol.org/ for a state of the art on making cold wallets.

That is because not all newbies here are newbies in real life, it's possible that they have been long time investors of Bitcoin.

But about copying and pasting from any source, that's for the mod to realize it and he'll get a punishment for doing that if it turns out that it's just a plain copy paste thread.

And that punishment is a perma ban from the forum.

Lol 😂😂 this dude is really funny. "He copied and pasted from a book" ? .

If you are here to learn then try reading and making research on what you are reading so that you will have more understanding on what is being discussed.
New people in the forum may not be new to bitcoin, that is what i have learnt over the past week. The person who opened the post may know a lot about bitcoin outside the forum. Although, other post opener take content from source outside the forum which is frown upon unless the source link is attached to the post.

Learning is the bedrock of life. All the knowledge we have from infant to adulthood was as a result of learning. Learning they say "never ends".

Crypto currency education is quite broad from what I have seen so far and it takes one who is meticulous and studios to a great degree to be able to compile such long post. How I wish pictures were included so as for better assimilation and discernment of the necessary points.
One thing I know that's very important too is that while one may be positive about beginning their crypto currency journey, there's also the need to learn about the security and risk involved as a core part to focus on also.

If you want to better understand Bitcoin, especially its economic aspect, Bitcoin Standard by Professor Saifedean Ammous is one of the best books you can read.book has been translated into more than 50 languages, so there is a good chance you can find it in your own language as well.

I feel like this is my first time seeing this title recommended for beginners. It's quite old, though, so I probably missed any discussions about it before. Anyway, what makes you think this is one of the best options instead of the usual Mastering Bitcoin or something similar? Are those translations available for free, or do people need to buy them first? 50 languages are quite massive, I wonder if the quality is good or not.
