Today I come out to buy fuel I they see say fuel station they sell 1200 per liter I they ask question person they ask me if I no know say war they happen and eh they affect oil price, if war they affect oil price no be way suppose they at advantage as per Nigeria nah country way they majorly export oil outside we no they import am come.

This are the disadvantages of Nigeria not having a working refinery, if not why will a country that has crude oil in abundance lack fuel the leaders we have refused to fix our already existing refineries and that's why we are facing another increment in fuel price and you know how Nigeria works, immediately they have increased transportation fare where I was supposed to pay 200naria I paid 500 naira today so it really bad, the government needs to fix our refineries so all this can stop.

You asking why will a war happening in another country affect our fuel price here, have you forgotten that we export to some of this countries and they refine and import back to us so if any of the countries that refines for Nigeria is affected by the war definitely there will be fuel increment due to scarcity of it, the port-harcourt refinery that Tinubu told us he was fixing from last year we still haven't made use of it because it's not functioning. Our government needs to work on our existing refineries for it to be functional so wether there's war or not it won't affect the price.

Nigeria is just going from bad to worse, the shameful part is that crude oil is a natural resource in Nigeria, something that is supposed to be a blessing is now looking like a curse to us because of bad governance, the entire fuel subsidy that was removed have no impact on the price of fuel so what then was the need removing it?seems it was just to embezzle money the Dangote refinery has no positive impact on the price of fuel too.

It’s tragic that Nigerians can stand on long lines and pay huge prices for fuel that is like our birthright, people saw he’ll today in traffic and filling stations just because of the hike in fuel price’s, i wonder if things can actually change in Nigeria, our government really need to awake, citizens too must learn not to adapt to every ugly situation, the government always believes that they can throw at Nigerian.

The one wey dey pain me na dis Dangote own because i still remember wen him dey build dat refinery him been talk say fuel go dey cheap and affordable to Nigerians so i wonder why anytime wey hike dey for petroleum products, his own refinery will also follow suit. Who do us this thing for this country sef because i still dey wonder why we go get oil come dey suffer like dis. Another country dey face war but na we wey dey Nigeria here come dey feel the heat. Nothing wey our leaders no go use as excuse to take manipulate the economy anyhow dem like.

Person go just sleep wake up to one bad news to another for dis country, no day wey person don wake up hear say e get better thing wey government wan do to favor the citizens. And now sef wey electricity don dey worst wey be say people go need buy fuel steadily to power their gadgets and devices, also use am do businesses naim dem go hike petrol price.

Dangote first fight with other players, he competed with the people that are importing fuel and gain more recognition as the savior as he gave fuel for discount and also lesson the price, but later he started to increase the price. The price later become higher than the imported price. One of my relatives have told me before that Dangote will hike the fuel price just as he was doing with cement. But there are times that we just have to blame the federal government.
