Winning is hard, why not quit?

Thinking about making money will get you to losing even more and not only that because they will be a couple of side effects that comes with the loses which are depression and frustration and when this starts kicking in then it wouldn't take long before you start becoming an addicted gambler that would be chasing after his losses for as long as he has means to get funds before it gets out of hand.

Now it sound like a message I should pin right now smiles…I think that just correct the more you are having that feeling of making money through gambling that more you keep losing more money…now it sound to me like there is a prize one should pay before earning in gambling…that why i dont see it as meaningful means of making money because on the way it drain you financially,especially emotionally and such it’s really not what I really want for my self so it best to stop such….

I don't encourage people to gamble, but I also don't tell them to stop when they are still doing fine. Unless they are addicted, which is something not good anymore.

In fact, nobody forces us to gamble, which means that there is a good reason for coming here. If we think there is still a reason for staying despite losing money, then why not? But of course, we should not urge ourselves to stay when we are also suffering a financial crisis. Some people say gambling is only for rich people, and it has a point because you can't stay longer if you don't have extra money to spend.

It's okay to gamble and cry in the casino but I have one principle of friendship, if it's not working I will tell you to quit even if you are not addicted to gambling. Some people are gamblers today and not because they wanted to do it but because of conditions. You know how it feels for a perron to use his school fee to want to double the amount because they don't have money for school materials and what they want to it. This may sound funny but it happens alot in school.

Some people use their last card to gamble and because they got lucky, they think that gambling is the way. They continued to gamble and waste money to the point of no return. That's when you see them looking for a way to come out of debt when they are already down with addiction. To see that some gamblers are gone for good, you can give them money to clear their debt and they will use that money to bet again trying opportunities to double money.

Without doing any research I can actually say that gamblers that are benefiting from gamble in aspect of winning their bet are lower than the gamblers that are losing their bet because there's no guarantee to win any game except the gambler is lucky, which makes me believe that losers are more than the winners. If you observe properly, we could notice that the gambers that are winning their bet are likely gambling for entertainment (am not sure actually, probably not all of them), meanwhile those gamblers that are losing their bet are desperately gambling to make money through it. Even after multiple trials and no positive results, why not quit?.

What really made me create this thread is because I still can't figure out why people who lose often can't quite gambling or take a break even when they know that they can't win to recover their money.

Actually, we have more losers in gambling than gamblers who win. But gamblers are always optimistic even when they loose their bet. They feel that a day will come and winning will come , this feeling of optimism keeps them going and have no thought of quitting. Furthermore, their are still very few gamblers with strong decision who can still quit, and people with such strong decision must have faced or encountered huge losses so far gambling is concerned.

Gambling is not only for the rich, gambling is for everyone, as long as the person is capable of providing for themselves and earning a good amount of money, they can decide to do what ever they want with their money. Even most rich people don't gamble, the highest number of gamblers are poor people and middle class. Those that doesn't want to quit despite the lose has hope to win one day or they like the game for fun.

You're right, you need to acquire a certain maturity so that any player can make a difference. That means playing intelligently, being very careful not to lose money. If you can lose, you just have to be prepared to do so. But spending more than planned is very bad because that's where a world of disorder begins, where everything changes if things are done wrong, where it's even possible to fall into addiction.
