Hey, guys, I was wondering if anyone here would be interested in helping test a new version of my trading bot? I don't need your money, you keep 100% of profits (and 100% of risk, naturally), I just need more testing.
The bot currently only works with CoinEx exchange, If you have an account there, you can create a sub-account and give me the API key for it (I won't be able to withdraw your money using the key, only trade).
I will then spawn a copy of the bot on my server that will use your key to trade with your capital. You will get access to a simple control panel + notification on each trade in Telegram.
I am testing it myself, of course, just maybe anybody else with some spare capital and a bit of free time interested in this? Let me know.
P.S. The bot is not using AI, it's the good old hand-written code.

WARNING
Beware of what OP might be trying to do.
Yes, he may not be able to withdraw your money directly, but what he is most likely to do is use your API key and the funds in your account to buy shitcoins that have no liquidity, probably deposited by him in an exchange. You remain with bags of shitcoins; he leaves with your USDT/ETH/BTC
Do not share your API Key with internet strangers

Oh, yeah, on all $2 somebody's willing to risk! That's the devious plan of OP!

It's OK to be cautious. But the very first person I scam would post that it's a scam and there will be no others.
(I wonder if the API key can be limited to just one instrument, that would be nice, need to check...)
Anyway, I am probably looking for just one person for now.

Here's detailed instructions, if anybody wants to try.
1. Create a sub-account on CoinEx. Switch to it and generate an API key (API Management -> Create API, need to check the "Trade" permission).
2. Go to futures trading and pick an instrument. I am currently testing it on LTC, XMR, HYPE and BCH. Tomorrow will likely add TAO, so it would be nice if you picked something else. BTC is fine, but it's not very bot-friendly, you would want something "hairy", where price swings up and down a lot, but basically stays in a sideway channel. The bot performs poorly in constant up or down trend. Also don't pick anything with prices below 1, I haven't tested such prices yet and there might be some issues with math.
3. Switch margin mode to "isolated" and pick your leverage. I use max levels so I don't have to use much real money, and getting a margin call on 2-3 bucks is not a big deal.
4. Check the min allowed order size. Let's say it's 0.05 and the current price is $340, so each order will be 340 x 0.05 = about $17. The bot uses a limited number of orders, I recommend 2 to 5. Let's say you picked 2, so the total bot's budget will be $34, we can round it up to $40 to allow higher prices. If you're using x20 leverage, you will need $2 of real money. If you want to reduce risk - add some reserve, I use 10%, so you will need total 2+4 = $6.
5. I will start a copy of the bot for you and give you a link to a simple dashboard and a telegram channel with notifications. The bot sends notification on each buy and sell, as well as on margin increases (it tries to keep a fixed reserve when price moves).
The bot can't go negative trading. The worst case is your position will get stuck until the price returns to this level. Since we're probably close to the bottom, that's not such a big deal, especially since the number of orders is limited. The bot is not high-frequency, you need to be patient, it can be just 1-2 txs per day.

By the way, I realized why this doesn't apply to me - the bot trades futures, so unless you put money into the spot account, it won't be able to buy any shitcoins.

If you're expecting volunteers, you should develop your bot to support non-KYC exchanges (although I'm not sure, but I think they'll still be around in 2026). This way, people have the option of creating a new, less-funded account.

Well, CoinEx is one of the few exchanges that has a limit, under which they don't require KYC.

why not use it on an exchange with demo trading accounts? i don't know if any crypto exchange offers this, but it should be a thing. if you are honest and just want to get more test data, looking into that would be much better than asking a stranger to risk their money/share API keys and whatnot. after all, why should anyone trust you.

Nobody needs to trust me, that's the beauty of this scheme. Your money remains in your account. Demo accounts are not much different from historical data and I've already tested on that. It's time to test on the real thing. Another reason I am looking for people is because at some point in the future I would like to offer this bot as a service. If it's reliable and profitable, it's a win-win scenario: somebody provides capital, I provide the server and the bot, and we split the profits. Right now it worked for 3 days and is printing at 5,300% APR. I really like this new version. We'll see.

you are saying you won't do this, you can't do that, but it's just your word and you are the one who controls the bot, so yeah, they need to trust you. Demo accounts are not much different from historical data and I've already tested on that. It's time to test on the real thing.
i was talking about live demo accounts. Right now it worked for 3 days and is printing at 5,300% APR. I really like this new version. We'll see.
can you show proof of this? 5,300% APR is too good to be true.

Did you actually read the thread or you just post here to flash your banners? I can't do anything, other than trade on behalf of user's futures sub-account. What trust are you talking about? can you show proof of this? 5,300% APR is too good to be true.
What proof would satisfy you? Can you, maybe, risk $5 to see for yourself? Actually, you know what - no, I don't think you're gonna be a good partner, sorry.

Why not make the code public so that we can review or maybe even run it ourselves without having to trust the obscure mechanisms or that you will not abuse the API key. No offense, but newbies should not be trusted so easily... A low of newbie accounts on this website make scam attempts.

to be fair, asking him to make the bot code public is too much. i wouldn't do it if it was my bot, and from what he said, he wants to make the bot a paid service. No offense, but newbies should not be trusted so easily... A low of newbie accounts on this website make scam attempts.
OP probably thinks we are conspiring against him or something, but the reality is, you can never be too safe on the forum.
