I don't think it's ideal to gamble in front of children. I don't try it in their presence. I feel it's more like taking their childhood away from them and reconfiguring their brain too early enough to see life life from a wrong perspective of uncertainty at their level at a time they should be more creative with their minds and focus on skills and smart work.

This is a very good interpretation and to back it up furthermore gambling has age restrictions that proves it’s an adult entertainment only.

It’s irresponsible for someone to a minor do this thing especially if he is showing a discomfort emotion from the game. In my country, Smoking, drinking and other things that you mention are done casually in public even in front of minor that’s why it’s become a norm for a teenager here to try those things because even parents encourage them to try it.

In this case, I think it will be very difficult to prevent children from gambling nowadays. And in terms of technology, the states have advanced a lot.  We are now giving mobile phones or devices to children at a very young age. And that is why our children are not too complicated and open to gambling. Since casinos are the first to advertise paid ads, they will appear even if we don't want them to. And since the children are small, it will attract them very easily. So i think a mobile or laptop should not be given to a child at a young age.

It's not really responsibility of a casino or a government to prevent kids from gambling. This is what people do not understand, drugs are illegal too and you think it would be hard to find some? Of course not, I knew so many friends who did, and if I wanted a phone call would have been enough for me to smoke some drugs. The responsibility that comes with being a parent is far greater than the idea of just getting a girl pregnant can cover. what your child becomes is to a large extent dependent on what you allow them to be exposed to and fact is that children learn a lot from observation than by the things you talk to them about. children that grow up under parents that drink alcohol will most likely grow up to drink alcohol and take it to the next level above their parents and same is the case with children whose parent gamble, it is just a matter of time before they will join suit and go beyond their parents.

I hope this will not happen. Parents should look into the welfare of their children and light them up with good deeds. Even though their kids know their parents are gambling, at least it's not in front of these innocent minds. Being a responsible parent is not difficult to do. This means the problem has already taken on a social dimension. Let me explain:
- The first people to influence and shape a child are the family. The family must lay the foundation for the child’s development and also set certain boundaries for the child until he or she becomes independent. Lol, don't take it personal, I won't say or agree with you that parents that gamble in ront of their kids lack moral and are valueless. I don't agree because parents like that could still have better morals that they can teach their kids to become better, it's not just the gambling that is the worst thing kids can learn, their are even other bad habits too that can cause the future issues when you exposed them to those habits too. Some parents can gambling in the presence of their kids but will make sure to be close friends to those kids so that they can always come to them for consultation before doing something. So, even if the kids wants to try gambling, they will have to ask their parents first.

Parent must be good example for their children without playing or betting in front of them, I think is not about gambling only but also the parent must be good rule model for their children at good habit. We talk about gambling as if it is a crime, yet many of us gamble. Why are you gambling if you know its wrong, the logic here, is i will be cautious of gambling in the presence of underage children, any child of legal age has he's or her life to deal with.

There was a discussion on this forum where a member was happy that his teenage daughter won some games of gambling. Most people thought that it was wrong to expose their children to gambling. I accept that young children should be protected from gambling since they could easily become addicted.

But parents would have to talk to their grown-up children about gambling. Most of them are already aware of gambling since it is popular among youths and there are promotions almost everywhere. Parents should expose their children to the right information about gambling so that they will not be misled.

I think some Gen z parent claim to be woke parent but what they do is actually stupidity. There is nothing in the world that justify drinking, smoking and having imtercourse in the front of your children. They are bad act in there eyes, they will grow up to see the things you do and when they normalize what you do and it's different from what is happening in the outside society, I'm sure that they will be seen as people that lack home training which is true.

If you want to gamble and spend all the money uou have trying to get entertained or make money, you have every reason to do so but don't let your kids know you are doing it. Do it secretly until they are old enough to know difference between money and responsibilities. If they reach the age limit and decide to gamble, it's not your call to want to bully them as long as they are it using your mkmey to bet, that is how gambling responsibilities are done.

I paid a visit to a friend of mine and in the middle of our jokes and conversations, my friend’s son asked me recently whether it was good for him to gamble as he see his dad gambling and I quickly said to him, No. Children are not allowed to gamble ethically, morally, religiously and legally and if any child is caught gambling, he will be punished by law and the punishment can take him to the army’s barracks and I saw him looking at me with a sad face expression and disappointment and not so much fear.
Gambling is an adult activity but why happens when it is done openly in front of children like my friend does? Whether you see it as a casual game of cards or a trip to the casino, some parents or guardians will not realize the potential long term effects and consequences on their kids. Exposing these kids to such risky behavior can create an unhealthy relationship with money for them and shape their mindset about gambling. Exposing kids to gambling is not and ahs never been a good idea and just like you mentioned to the kid, by all standards, it is pretty much wrong and it is only right that we keep them away from such so they do not get too early into a habit that will be difficult to stop, as parents or guardians and senior relatives, we are to keep these habits away from the kids not to see us participate in them or even allow them follow us to places where these things are been done for their safety and also for our own good in the future. Kids are very inquisitive and would want to know every thing at the slightest insight so not allowing them see what you are doing or having a knowledge about it is very much important than trying to caution them thereafter because out of curiosity, they may go get the knowledge outside there and we will suffer the aftermath if it happens to come.
