I am interested, do you stake the ZEN in your wallet or do you have to go through your website?
Staking is quite straightforward. You just need to complete the registration form here:
https://zen.land/agents/register. Since ZEN tokens are not currently available for sale, please leave your wallet address in this thread or send me a PM. I will happily send you 100 ZEN tokens so you can begin staking immediately.
Hello Zenland
I've learned about your concept and I'm interested in joining your community to operate as an agent. Should we keep discussions in this thread?
You are welcome to DM us directly or continue the discussion here - whatever is most convenient for you! The registration process is very simple: just share your ETH wallet address in this thread, and we will send you the minimum ZEN tokens required to begin staking as an agent.
I was just wondering recently why you're no longer on the Bitcointalk forum.
What are the most important changes on the platform compared to the previous version? I see that only the Ethereum network and USDT/USDC tokens are currently active. Why such a change?
The protocol is now fully decentralized, meaning it is no longer under our direct control. We spent monthes studying the governance models of DAOs like Aave and Uniswap to ensure we could implement a similar structure, where smart contracts are governed exclusively by the DAO.
The biggest change is architectural: while Zenland V1 relied on a backend, Zenland V2 is backendless. This allows anyone to build their own custom interfaces for the Zenland protocol. Additionally, we no longer manually appoint agents; the process is permissionless and open to everyone. We have also introduced a treasury where all protocol fees are now automatically directed. You can track our governance and treasury activity here:
https://openbook.to/dao/zenlandI have not seen anywhere that it is possible to trade with the ZEN token. Where is it even possible to buy/sell your token, and what is its value?
I admit, it confuses me a bit since there is already a ZEN (Horizen) coin, you probably should have created a more unique ticker
ZEN tokens are not currently available for public sale. For our initial private sale, we are planning a price of $0.01 per token (meaning the 2,000-token requirement is currently valued at $20), though the price will likely shift for the IEO.
Regarding the ticker: we did discuss the overlap with Horizen (ZEN) internally. Ultimately, we decided to stick with it, as we operate in entirely different niches and believe the context of our protocol keeps the two distinct.
On a personal note, we want to thank you for all the times you advising users to use our service, Examplens. We would be honored to have you join our DAO and help shape the future growth of Zenland through your participation and voting.
