The uncertainty of not winning the next bet is what makes the gambling exciting, if one know which bet they will win and not then do you think they will be on the losing bet and if they don't bet then how do you expect the casinos to generate revenue?

I don't think this is the truth and I have been playing my last gambling sessions in exactly an opposite way of this psychology described here. Maybe I am an idiot but I did the complete opposite, I saw three consecutive loses in buy bonuses with a very big bet and despite knowing most probably I would lose again I still continued to try. It is the hope that keeps us humans alive, as they say "hope dies las" but in gambling unfortunately it dies first. Psychology in my opinion based on my experience does not play a huge role in a gambler mentality.

That's for people gambling for profit. They wouldn't gamble if they know they will lose their next bet but people that gamble for fun will still gamble because they derive pleasure from gambling. Gambling is for fun and a stress reliever not for profits. It's just that majority of gamblers gamble for profit and if they can see into their future to know if they will lose/win their next bet, there will be no more casinos.

Honestly, I like the way the game is program because had it been they didn't program it like that it would have not been easy for the casinos, in fact nobody would have been gambling by now because they would have hit the casinos in such a way that nothing else would have remain for the new gamblers.

It's more on taking that risk to the unknown, it doesn't matter if we have lost the other day, or won tonight. It will always be the gambler that is willing to risk or stake his money to a game that we don't know the results are.

Of course mindset will always be there for us, as expectations comes from supposedly feeling that we might win again and again. But individuals or life itself is a lot of risk and so there are people who's willing to go that far and not thinking about the result until he had it in his hand.

The expectation of winning tempts you to bet more. This is definitely a psychology. You know that you can win the next bet and you can lose it, but you have a mental expectation of winning. The expectation of winning in gambling makes you more focused on gambling and you should accept this. If you can somehow predict with certainty that you will lose the next bet, you will refrain from gambling. The time between winning and losing in gambling and your decision to win and most of the time you think you will win and this is a psychological thing that keeps you awake to win. The exciting feeling in gambling and the desire to win is a psychological thing.

I will not say that he does not know that he can lose his money when he places the second bet. Testing the unknown. I think that is what pushes gamblers to keep on going. They want to know if they will lose or win the next time they place a bet, and so they continue playing.

I think that kind of mentality is what urges a gambler to try again. Then, it becomes a habit that is difficult to separate from. It is a psychological game, and I don't doubt that. You are right , the psychology of gambling is actually wild , we gamble with an expectation of winning, and we hope that the next game will be a different one that will turn around for us , that is the reason even if a gambler loses, he still feels there is hope , they are stuck with the mindset  “Maybe next time “ gambling is just full of uncertainty and most people has this mindset that they can never be unlucky all the times, this is also a way of keeping your hopes alive , so even when they are losing,  they are still eager to play the next one , the psychology behind gambling is really really wild .

That's why I have said that luck is unannounced in gambling, it doesn't announce it self first before happening, every gambler already knows this strategies, what they are doing is just following the games with uncertainty, it's more like knowing that the outcome of this activity I'm doing is uncertain but I chose to do it anywas irrespective of what the outcome would be. That is exactly how gambling works. If gambler's knows they are going to lose the bet they want to placed they would not want to do it. The only reason why gamblers continues to gamble despiste several loses is simply because they have the hope that they are going to win one of this day. Firstly, it is not possible to now the outcome of your next bet, unless you're somehow going illegal, if we know what our next bet would look like, then the casino wouldn't have existed in the first place since they would be really out of business pretty soon.
The uncertainty keeps the drive alive and the hope of getting a win in your next bet makes you wanna try your luck in it.
Win or loose, gambling is fun for those who stick to a limited budget and the fun in it is enough to keep you trying your luck knowing fully well that win or loose, you don't have a problem at all.

The future prediction is why gambling is a thing, it's all prediction but some people go out there to look for ways where they can start winning from and making money, they have forgotten the real reason why gambling functions the way it does.
