The only outcome we have any influence over is choosing to play or not. Casinos pretty much always tell you up front the odds involved in any game and if you choose to believe them (you should) then on average they will win more times than you. I don't think this is the truth and I have been playing my last gambling sessions in exactly an opposite way of this psychology described here. Maybe I am an idiot but I did the complete opposite, I saw three consecutive loses in buy bonuses with a very big bet and despite knowing most probably I would lose again I still continued to try. It is the hope that keeps us humans alive, as they say "hope dies las" but in gambling unfortunately it dies first. Psychology in my opinion based on my experience does not play a huge role in a gambler mentality.

The mistake most gamblers make is chasing losses . I don’t know why most gamblers have that mindset , whenever they experience losses they will keep trying hoping they will win back those losses with some extra profits but at the end they will keep losing more , because at that moment they won’t be able to think straight, because the losses will start getting to them . Best is when you experience losses the best is to stop for a while .
