We always assume that the things that is coming at us in the future is going to be to our favor and that is the singular reason why we take all the risk and try everything we see thinking that in the future we stand to gain from it. at the end, we get to face the reality in the future and will have to face whatever outcome that we eventually it brings. even the players in most sports event like football always think that they are bent on winning. they go all in with that kind of mentality but at the end, the eventual truth finally plays out. it is called hoping for the best while expecting the worse.

Honestly,if a gambler knew with certainty that they'd lose the next bet,they simply wouldn't bet.The same applies if they knew they'd win,the excitement disappears.Gambling is filled with uncertainty and hope,and it's the unpredictability that keeps players hooked and engaged.Gambling is the real psychological game because it's driven by hope,near miss effects and the urge to chase losses.

I think people start gambling because they want to have fun or because they want to get excited but then they have to do it all the time. You have to be responsible while gambling and on the other hand be aware of your own financial limitations only then you can win psychologically. Winning or losing in gambling creates a mindset in you to play more but when you can become a responsible gambler you can develop a habit of playing by maintaining control regardless of the gambling outcome. I would agree with you and say that this is why bankroll plays a big role in gambling, especially when we try to gamble responsibly, it at least gives us a signal as to how much of our limit we are within and that often plays a big role in helping us maintain our own self-control.

Did you clarify my statement? It seems yes and indeed, this is not one or two people but most gamblers are after material gain, therefore they look at the odds in sports betting, see the RTP in slot game betting, people who see this definitely have a clear goal that they are looking for profit even though they don't see it but when in their mind "maybe I will get a profit if I can double this small amount of money" there is always such an intention and that is what will affect human psychology in gambling, the reaction may vary but the goal of profit will definitely change the perspective and psychology that is accepted.

That’s why I still wonder what some folk meant that there’s gambling strategy that will increase your chances of winning . When winning don’t totally depends on you , especially those that focus on casino games , which is surely about lucks.

But in sport betting your effort is required a little to increase chances of you winning , by having idea about the sport you are betting on , by knowing the team that play the most (but doesn’t mean that they will still win) because anything can happens
